My Mascara Collection

Hey guys! I'm getting a few post done tonight on my January theme, All About Makeup. This is on the mascaras that I own. I really thought I had more than this but these are actually my favorite mascaras for different reasons.

Benefit Cosmetics- They're Real- This is one of my new favorites. It was in my December monthly favorites video. I just love how it enhances your natural lashes and makes them look so long. When I'm not in the mood for lots of volume, I reach for this one.

Benefit Cosmetics- Bad Gal- I love the full and volumized look this mascara gives. Its something about Benefit's formula for their mascara but they are really amazing!

Too Faced- Better Than Sex- Now I'm not sure if this mascara is really better than sex, lol but I really like it a lot. It really opens up my eyes and makes my lashes pop. I love the length and fullness my lashes have with this mascara.

Tarte- Lights Camera Lashes- Now this mascara blew my mind the first time I used it. My lashes never looked so good, I was just so amazed. This is my number one mascara to go to because I just love it so much. Plus, Tarte is a vegan company which is an added bonus.

Victoria's Secret- Voluptuous Volume- This mascara was my go to during the summer. I loved the way my lashes looked when wearing this mascara. They were so full of volume and appeared so much longer.

What are your favorite mascaras? Which ones should I try next? Comment and let me know!!

So, my area is supposed to get another 1-2 inches of snow. Oh boy!
I've been slacking off on working out and I need to get motivated again

  1. Thanks for sharing your picks. I have a small sample of the Bad Gal mascara which I haven't tried yet. I've been hearing a lot about the They're Real Mascara, I wanna try that one. Have you tried any of the Maybelline ones? I'm using the falsies volume express by them which is ok so far.

    1. Hey Rhondine, you should really try They're Real. I love it! I'm not sure if I've tried mascara by Maybelline before but I'm open to it!

  2. Hey Andrea! So I recently purchased Rimmel's ScandalEyes Flex mascara..I was looking for the regualr ScandalEyes but they were out so I grabbed this one. I think its similar to the Better Than Sex mascara. I am interested in if other people think the same. If you are looking to try a new mascara try that one!

    1. Thanks for the suggestion Tanya! I think I saw that mascara on sale at Target I think or some other Rimmel ones. But I will give it a try!

  3. I like They're Real and Lights, Camera, Lashes but I don't love either of them. I am just now trying out Better Than Sex which I am certain does not live up to it's name. I haven't come across one mascara that does everything I want a mascara to do. But someday, maybe I'll find that one. I really enjoyed this post though. Thanks for sharing.

    1. I hope you find a mascara that works for you soon Shalunya, I know the feeling!

Morphe Brush Review

Happy Tuesday!! Just can't believe Christmas is next week!! Did you get all your shopping done? I did for the most part, now it's just putting things together lol!! Well this post is going to be a review on Morphe brushes. I'm sure you have heard the name and seen some of your favorite makeup artist using them. I purchased these at IMATS back in April and have been loving them. I already want to purchase more. So let's get into the reviews.

(M411- Pointed Blender and M200-Deluxe Crease)
It is always important to blend, blend blend your makeup!! I do have a few blending brushes but I wanted to have a few backups when I clean them. I love how soft these brushes are and how well they blend out eye shadows. I mainly use the Pointed Blender(black bristles) for the the outer crease and the deluxe crease(brown bristles) for right above my lid.

I normally don't set my foundation with a powder and wanted to start doing s…

I can't get over the fact that October is here and it still feels like Summer. We had a brief Fall weekend but Summer was like Nope, I'm still hanging around lol! Today I am sharing my September Favorites with a special guest. My son has been wanting to film with me for a while so I decided to let him in on the video. Be prepared to laugh!

You guys may see another appearance from my son, he is so silly and full of energy lol! I think I forgot to mention some favorites but you'll see them next month. What products have you tried? What were your thoughts? See you guys Thursday!

Have you tried the new Starbucks drink? It seems like it is missing something, like it needed to be sweeter or needed some saltiness.
They recently opened a Zara in the mall near me! It is so nice in there, I only purchased one dress.

Fro Butter Emu Oil Review

Well I guess Summer is still trying to hold on lol. I was about to pack away all the Summer clothes but I should leave them out I guess. I'll go through all my Fall wardrobe in the meantime to see what I'll need when the weather gets cooler. Today I am sharing my review on Fro Butter Emu Oil.

I don't know if I told you guys but I am one of Fro Butter's ambassadors for the next 6 months! I was so excited when I got the email about being chosen. You will be seeing post about their products more on here and my Instagram.
A little background on this company before we hop into the review:
Fro Butter is a Black Owned Business started in 2012 by owners Susana Stewart and Caroline Maina. They were in the market for affordable and organic hair products and it all started from there.
I was introduced to this product last year when I received it in my Onyx Box. I really loved the product and so did my husband and son lol. Taken directly from the site, the Emu Oil is designed…
