June Goal Results and July Goals

Today I am bring you the results of my June Goals and ones I have set for July. You can see last month's goals  HERE!! Create a schedule for Schoolwork and Blogging (including a YouTube Schedule) This had to be done because I was just all over the place trying to get things done and it was driving me a little crazy. I wasn't making enough time for everything and was falling behind on some things. Also recording and editing videos is very time consuming and I would sometimes be up so late at night trying to get the next day's post up and I would be so tired going into work the next day. The schedule really seemed to work and helped me so much. I have days were I would record videos, prep post, do my schoolwork and time for rest. With this schedule, I wanted to have day were videos go up on my channel. I was just all o

Sephora Fragrance Review

I may be one of the only people who do not mind getting perfume samples. I love to try different fragrances, especially the expensive ones without breaking my pockets lol! I get to see what fragrances work well with my body chemistry and what ones are worth purchasing. Today I'm going to review a couple fragrances that I got as a promotion from Sephora. You know how you get those emails from Sephora if you are a beauty insider, free product or set with a purchase of a certain amount? One day an email came with a set of 9 fragrances and that cute bag when you made a purchase of $35. You had a choice of two different sets and I couldn't resist as usual lol! I choose the Femme Fatal set because of a few fragrances I've been wanting to try. Let's get into each one. P.S. I'm not the best at describing scents but I just know what smells good to me lol! YSL Black Opium Key Notes: Coffee Accord, Orange Blossom, Cedarwood Essence and Patchouli Essense. I raved

Have you checked out the latest from my wedding series,  Happily Ever Johnson?? ~**Drea Notes**~ Everyone is going crazy over the Starbucks Strawberry Acai Refresher with Coconut milk. I see it everywhere. Have you tried it? I'm not a coconut person but I'm curious. I really want to change my hair color or just do something different with my hair soon.

Happily Ever Johnson: Wedding Dresses

I'm so excited to be posting about this. I've been asked a lot when I was going to start shopping for my wedding dress. I wanted to wait until I had my venue booked to start looking. Depending on where ceremony and reception was going to held is how I was going to base the wedding dress shopping on. I did a little research on first time wedding dress shopping and found some great tips. The most important thing is to know your budget! You don't want to fall in love with a dress you can't afford. The consultant does ask what your budget is and your max that you would want to spend. It helps to have some idea of what you want and to bring pictures from Pinterest or the Internet to help the consultant get an idea of what you like and don't like. I have so many pictures saved on Pinterest of dresses I like. Another tip was to keep the makeup at a minimum. You don't want to get foundation all over the dresses you are trying on. I skipped the foundation and just wore m

On a personal note....

I love that Blogger has a mobile app, you can blog from anywhere. I'm currently on the bus headed to work and felt like being a little personal today. I was in a weird place, I guess for the past couple of weeks. I just didn't feel like me in a way. I tend to really over think way too much and those thoughts started to get to me. I'm always questioning if I'm doing the right thing, taking on too much, not doing enough and so on. I'm grateful for my Tumblr account where I can get those thoughts out. I can be free on there and just clear my head. I just felt like things were chaotic and I couldn't get a hold of it. Life is not always going to be a easy, smooth ride. You are meant to go through some things to help you learn and become stronger. I feel like things are starting to fall into place and things are going to be okay. I've come a long way and learned to be in a more positive place. It changed my outlook on things. I'm more hopeful about the outcome

Fashion Series Update

I'm going to say sometime last year I started a couple fashion series on here. I really wanted to get into doing my fashion post and seeing where it would go. I got into it and slowly they became far and wide lol. I know I left a few without following up and would like to start them up again. If you remember, I had Piecing Together and What Goes With This. Piecing Together was finding an outfit on my Pinterest and trying to piece it together as best as I could. What Goes With This was posting an article of clothing that I had trouble matching with something. I would ask you guys for some ideas and go out and find something to pair with that item. I've had the clothes for this series for a while but as I said, just got away from them. I do more outfit of the day pictures on my Facebook and Instagram accounts. For Piecing Together, here is the last post I did  HERE!  It took me a while to find an all nude color dress but finally tracked one down. I also put a spin on how I re
