Essence and Ebony Magazine: Best of 2015 Beauty

Happy Monday! As most of you know Essence is one of my favorite magazines and so is Ebony. When I saw their best of 2015 articles, I got an idea for a post. I was going to try out some of these products for a few weeks and post my thoughts on them. Most of what I'm going to talk about is makeup but I have a couple non makeup products to talk about. I held off on the hair products until I took out my faux locs (which I was supposed to take out this weekend but didn't happen lol) So let's get into the reviews.

Best Makeup Primer: Cover Girl Outlast All-Day Primer

I recently raved about this primer in my October favorites. This is my new favorite, holy grail primer. I had to try this when I saw that it helped with oily skin. I don't have to blot my t-zone anymore or only once a day with this primer. It really does an amazing job with controlling the oil. It also gives a flawless canvas for your foundation and hides my pores. It is only 9.00 and can be found at any drugstor…

2. Set A Blogging Schedule- I am still sticking to my Sunday, Thursday and every other Friday schedule. It has been really working with my hectic schedule I already have.

October Favorites

Happy Sunday! It has been such a busy week and weekend with work, schoolwork, birthday party and the Spartan Race!! I was so excited and nervous about the race. I didn't know what to expect but was up for the challenge. It was a bit tough for me but I pushed and had motivation from my son, boyfriend and coworkers that I did the race with. I'm so proud that I completed the race and I would actually do it again! Here is a pic of my medal, shirt and headband. I am still super sore lol!!

I normally have videos for my favorites but I didn't have the time this month so its a regular post. I don't have too many things to talk about but let's get into my October Favorites!

Evian Facial Spray Review*

Happy Friday!! It looks like the Fall weather is back! I hope everyone has been enjoying the weekend so far. Today's post is going to be a review on the Evian Facial Spray. *I received these products complementary from BrandBacker and this is my opinion after testing. Let's get into the review!!

Powered by BrandBacker
I was pretty excited when I accepted to the campaign. I have seen other bloggers reviewing this product and I was pretty curious about it. When you see the name Evian you automatically think of water ,not a beauty product. I was interested to see how this product would work. Directly from the site, this product is the Perfect way to help hydrate in air conditioned, or over-heated offices. evian® helps enhance the effectiveness of all moisturizers and any skin care regimen. evian® Facial Spray revives color cosmetics throughout the day. Feel confident to lightly spray over face without disturbing makeup. Every can of evian® is propelled under high pressure by nit…

These are the Jaslene shoes and I got them in Nude. They have a 4" heel and I was drawn to them because of the cute detail of the lock and key.

These are more of a peachy-brown nude which is a shade I don't have. I really love them and can't wait to pair outfits with these heels. He…
