Happy Monday! As most of you know Essence is one of my favorite magazines and so is Ebony. When I saw their best of 2015 articles, I got an idea for a post. I was going to try out some of these products for a few weeks and post my thoughts on them. Most of what I'm going to talk about is makeup but I have a couple non makeup products to talk about. I held off on the hair products until I took out my faux locs (which I was supposed to take out this weekend but didn't happen lol) So let's get into the reviews. Best Makeup Primer: Cover Girl Outlast All-Day Primer I recently raved about this primer in my October favorites. This is my new favorite, holy grail primer. I had to try this when I saw that it helped with oily skin. I don't have to blot my t-zone anymore or only once a day with this primer. It really does an amazing job with controlling the oil. Eyeko Black Magic Mascara Box It Came From: Birchbox Full Size or Sample Size: Sample Size Price Point: 25.00 Review: I was pretty excited to try this mascara out. I always love trying out new mascaras. I have been loving this mascara. It makes my lashes look so long and it really separates them. Here is what the wand looks like. I really like how it is curved so it hugs your lash line and gets your lashes evenly. I'm not sure about purchasing the full size, this sample seems like it would last me for a while but I may invest in the full size at some point. The under eye area stayed moisturized and felt smooth. I loved the consistency of this, it wasn't too thick and blended in very well. Mostly likely, I would repurchase this.
