January Goal Results and March Goals

I'm trying to figure out how the weekend was like Spring and then we are back to Winter again lol. This weather has been a little crazy lol. Today I'm sharing my goals results from January and new ones I have set for March. I know I skipped over February but I was working on these goals through this month. You can see that post  RIGHT HERE! Work on" 5 Steps To Achieving Your Goals" I love when I get these inspirational and helpful downloads from Life According To Her. If you are not subscribed to the blog or following on social media, you need to be. I won't give too much away(because I want you to go download for yourself) but one of the five steps was to create a vision board. I based mine on what I envision myself to be and things that inspire me.  Posting 1-2 Makeup Looks on Instagram I was pretty consistent with this one and proud of myself. I got at least two looks posted on my Instagram. I haven't posted a picture in a while

I am loving this preview of Spring weather now! I hope it stays around for a while lol. I am happy that we didn't get that much snow this Winter but my son was looking for more snow days lol. It has been a while since I have done a post to this series and I have so many samples to review. Let's get into Shopping My Beauty Samples! Curel Itch Defense Body Wash and HydraTheapy Wet Skin Moisturizer Box It Came From: Walmart Beauty Box Full Size or Sample Size: Sample Size Price Point: 9.73 and 10.94 Review: I was really excited to try these products out, especially the wet skin moisturizer. The moisturizer is pretty new. It is pretty similar to way you would use the one by Jergens. You would apply it after cleansing and just step out the shower. I really liked how my skin stayed moisturized and soft all day. The body wash really helped with itchy skin and keeping it moisturized. Both of these products work really well together and I would repurchase bo

So what are wedding traditions?

I saw a post on Instagram the other day asking about what wedding traditions do you think are outdated. It caught my eye and after reading in the comment section, it really made me think....what are wedding traditions? Do you have to follow the old school traditions? The New Ones? Or make up your own? The goal of getting married in the first place is to stay married. You can and cannot follow every tradition but the marriage after the wedding is the most important thing. You are spending the rest of your life with the person you couldn't live without, your soulmate, love of your life. I hear marriage is not all sunshine and rainbows, you both have to be willing to stick together, make things work and keep your marriage fun and full of love. I have seen a lot of weddings growing up and everyone did pretty much the same thing when I was younger but things and times have changed. You don't see everyone wearing a white dress, people are seeing each other before walking down the a

Derma MD Review

I had a pretty busy weekend filled with wedding stuff, work and family time. What did you do this weekend? Today I'm sharing my thoughts on some Derma MD products I picked up a few months ago. Derma MD products are focused on anti aging and making sure your skin looks its best. I have not heard of this company before and glad I have been exposed to them. I won a giveaway that Tanya from Leopard Lace and Cheesecake was doing for a giftcard to Derma MD. I looked all through the website for products that would benefit my skin. Exfoliating Cleanser Glycolic and Peppermint I have heard a lot about how beneficial Glycolic Acid can be for anti-aging and wanted to try a product with that ingredient. This was a different kind of cleanser for me. I thought it would have exfoliating beads or something in the cleanser but it feels like a regular liquid cleanser. The Glycolic Acid acts as the exfoliant removing the dead skin cells and and bringing the new skin to the surface. I

Being patient is key....

My fiance sent this to me a while ago on Instagram and I have reposted this myself. (And excuse the language in this one) This really spoke to me and I have been quiet about a few things that have been going on. I don't tell everyone moves that I'm making because there are those who will try to talk you out of it or tell you that you can't accomplish that.  I can finally say that after a lot of hard work, I got a promotion at work!!! I wanted to wait until it was official but I am super excited for this new job! I actually applied for this job three times and I guess third time is the charm. After this position came up again, I was so over it and ready to give into defeat. People understood my reasoning but encouraged me not to give up so easily. I really, really appreciate those that encouraged me, didn't let me give up and talked me out of not trying again. My manager even helped me prep for the interview which I went in more confidently and did so well
