Fashion Nova Haul

I am so glad it is finally Friday!! It has been one of those weeks at work and I can't wait to relax with family and enjoy this holiday weekend!
I have been so stand-offish to purchase something from Fashion Nova for a while but finally just purchased a couple things to see how I would like their clothes. Check out my first Fashion Nova Haul!

So that is it for my first haul from Fashion Nova. Have you purchased anything from them? What were your thoughts? Comment below and let me know.
I hope everyone has a great Christmas and Happy New Year. See you guys in 2018!!

Fall Walmart Beauty Box

The holiday weekend is almost here! Have you finished your Christmas shopping yet? I need to get stuff to make cookies for Santa, I think my son wanted to make chocolate chip this year lol! It feels like a while since I've unboxed a Walmart Beauty Box. Today I am sharing my Fall box.

So that is it for my Fall Walmart Box. What are some of your travel must haves? Comment below and let me know. See you guys tomorrow!!

On a personal note....

We are 6 days away from Christmas and I haven't finished my shopping yet!! I will most likely be out this weekend with the other last minute shoppers lol! We finally got our tree up in the house and I just wanted it to be simple this year.
I don't know how some people do daily vloging but kudos to them because Vlogmas is tiring lol. I am getting through it but it is a lot editing almost every night. I can say that I did it this year, not too sure if I will next year lol but I'll continue with occasional vlogs.
I am so exciting about how things are starting to come together and fall into place. I am grateful for staying in a positive space and kept pushing myself to keep going. There were plenty of times that I wanted to give up but the hard work is starting to pay off. I'm just excited for these opportunities and new doors that are opening. I have been really working to improve Naturalle Drea and myself and it can only get better from here. I have been up many late …

November Onyx Box

It is crazy that we actually got some snow over the weekend. My son was so excited to see snow, he couldn't wait to make snow angels lol. If you have been watching Vlogmas, we got a real Christmas tree to put in the backyard. It looked to pretty with the snow the other day, I had to capture a picture.

Well today, I am unboxing my November Onyx Box.

So that is it for my November Onyx Box. What did you get in your monthly boxes? Comment below and let me know. Enjoy the start of the week and see you guys Thursday!!

My son is so excited about Christmas and of course getting presents lol. We made sure that he knows the real meaning of Christmas.

November Favorites

Vlogmas is something else lol. It has been fun but tiring editing almost every night. Today I am sharing my November Favorites.

Vlogmas 2017

Happy December and welcome to Vlogmas! I said I was going to do it this year and I'm going to stick to it. I'm still trying to figure out the schedule of how I'm going to post but I will still have my beauty post on here and will share my Vlogmas videos.
Today is the introduction and a very interesting day that I had. I hope you enjoy my Vlogmas this year!

Let me know if you are doing Vlogmas this year! Have a great weekend and see you guys Tuesday!

Fro Butter African Black Soap Review and Demo

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving weekend and enjoyed time with family. I had so much fun with family and did a little too much shopping lol. I'll be sharing my Black Friday haul soon. Today I am sharing a demo and review of Fro Butter's African Black Soap!

I normally use African Black soap to cleanse my face and body but you can also use this to wash your hair! Directly from the Fro Butter site, This African Black Soap has been resourced from Ghana and infused with Shea Butter and is 100 % natural. It contains no additives, fragrance and is vegan. It is a natural source of Vitamin A, E and Iron. African Black Soap is used for cosmetic uses and can be lathered, to be used as a shampoo.
I was a little skeptical at first to use this to wash my hair thinking it would dry my hair out but I was wrong! This soap really cleansed my scalp, left my hair feeling super soft and made it so easy to detangle my hair. I was so impressed and blown away. I think this is one of new favo…

Sephora VIB Haul

I can't believe Thanksgiving is this Thursday! I love the time to spend with family and eat most of the day lol. Today I am sharing what I got during the Sephora VIB sale. I didn't want to go too crazy but excited about the stuff I got!

So that is it for my haul. Did you shop the VIB sale? What did you get?
I hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving and enjoys this time with family and friends. I will see you guys Tuesday!!

Friday Fun and Rocky Run

I guess I am getting myself ready for Vlogmas this year lol. I'm excited about it but don't think I'll be posting a video everyday but I'll have some kind of schedule. Today I am sharing another day with my son and the Rocky Run my husband and I did last Saturday. It was so cold that day and glad we purchased warmers for our hands and feet. They really came in handy. Hope you enjoy!

Hope you guys have a great weekend and see you Tuesday!!
~**Drea Notes**~
My son now needs a third page to write out his Christmas list. Help us lol!
I can't believe Thanksgiving is next week! I'm excited!

Fun Thursday Vlog

My son had one of those weird weeks were he only had school Monday and Wednesday becuase of the election and teacher convention. I like when I get the chance to take off with him and hang out. He really enjoys that. Last week, he hung out to pick up the packets for the race and I needed him to burn some of that energy. Check out what we did last Thursday!

Hope you enjoyed our fun day. What do you like to do on your days off? See you guys tomorrow!

Thankful Everyday

I survived the Rocky Run! It was so cold that day and I made it! I will actually train next time I have a race lol! I hope you guys don't mind these personal post but I just felt like writing a lot more lately.  I can't believe Thanksgiving is next week! When did that sneak up on us? Next time we know, Christmas will be here and then 2018!! It is crazy how this year has gone by so fast. This time last year I was counting down until my wedding and we're coming up on 6 months in December!
It just seems like this is the only time of the year that people are thankful and very giving. I know it is the season of that but what about the rest of the year? You should be thankful all year for everything, even the small things. It really didn't hit me until adulthood about being thankful for everything. There were moments where I wasn't working and looking like crazy for a job but I was thankful to still have a roof over my head and food to eat. I was thankful when I was w…

Just felt like writing....

At least once or twice week, I look at my blog and YouTube channel and debate if I want to keep going. I admit to looking at others and wondering what I'm not doing or how can I get there. I know I'm not supposed to look at others and stay on my own path. I know that success comes when it is your turn but sometimes it can get frustrating. You can get discouraged at times and want to throw in the towel.
I remember the promise I made to myself when I started this blog not to quit or give up. I started a blog before this one and after about a couple weeks I deleted it because I impatient. I had to learn how to be patient and wait for things. I thought it was supposed to be instant where people would read and comment. A few months later, Naturalle Drea was created and it was hard to keep going. It was hard at first to not want to shut everything down again but the more I was writing and started recording videos, the more I wanted to keep going. All the views and comment worries w…

Blossoming to Grow

During the months of September and October, I took this 4 week writing course called In Bloom. I have been looking for a writing course to help improve my writing and blogging skills. I came across Write Laugh Dream by Ashley Coleman on Instagram and first signed up for the Writers Write WLD series. It was a four week course where you were given daily prompts and you wrote something to finish the thought. I really enjoyed writing daily and just making myself think about how to finish the prompt.
After the series was over, Ashley reached out about signing up for a pilot session of In Bloom. This was another four week course but it was more interactive than the previous series. There was a video call once a week as well as a workbook for the course. During the first week was an introduction of the course, introductions of everyone and what we would be writing about. The goal at the end of the course was to help us to improve our writing and create a writing piece. I was excited to jump…

On A Personal Note...

I was supposed to have a video up today but I don't think you want to hear me sneezing and sniffling through the whole thing lol. This weather is crazy, its hot, then cold then hot again and of course I get sick lol. I'll have those videos up tomorrow but I wanted to get something up today.
I always get inspired to write when good or bad things happen. The other day I met up with some friends to just catch up and chat about life, motherhood, marriage and our businesses. It just felt good to be around those like minded people who want to see you succeed, help you grow, give advice, bounce ideas off of each other and so on. It just felt good to be in a positive space with them and realizing that I need to surround myself with more people like that. I need to be around people who have that positive mindset, who actually support you, gives you advice, constructive criticism and I do the same for them.
I feel like everyone could benefit from having that positivity around them. I…

BK Girls Night Out and NY Vlog

Last Saturday, I had an amazing time in New York. I was initially going to the BK Girls Night Out event and saw that Alissa Ashley was having a meet and greet at the ELF store in Times Square. I had to go because she's one of my favorite YouTubers and I wanted to support her collab with Elf. We were able to purchase her lip gloss before it launched during the meet and greet. She is such a sweet person and really pretty in person. You'll see in the vlog what else I purchased at the Elf store.

I had some time in between events so I stopped to get some coffee...and it wasn't Starbucks lol. I stopped by Pret and had a really good Pumpkin Spice Latte. I also had a breakfast sandwich and just enjoyed sitting and city watching lol.

I walked around the city for a little bit before it was time to head to Brooklyn. It was fun taking the subway and figuring out what train to take. Thank goodness for Google Maps lol. I didn't get too lost, I was just on the wrong side of the tra…

~**Drea Notes**~
My husband and I are going to a Halloween party next weekend and can't decide on a costume lol! Any suggestions??
My son is all excited about Christmas already, he wants to start his list to Santa very soon lol.
I always look forward to watching It the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown, such a classic to me and something the whole family can watch.

Shopping My Beauty Samples

It is really starting to feel like Fall now. I  need to take some of my coats to the cleaners soon lol. Today I am shopping in my beauty samples. Let's see what I'll be reviewing today!

Tokyo Milk Honey and the Moon No. 10 Parfum

Box It Came From: Onyx Box Full Size or Sample Size: Full Size Price Point: 30.00 Review: I was really surprised that I received a full size perfume in my box! I normally don't mind the small samples but it is a treat to get a full size item. This scent is something that I've never smelled before and I am loving it! It has notes of sandalwood, jasmine, honey and sugared violet. It is something that you can wear everyday and it is not strong or overpowering at all. I will definitely be repurchasing this.

OGX Healing and Vitamin E Penetrating Oil
Box It Came From: Onyx Box Full Size or Sample Size: Full Size Price Point: 6.99 Review: I am always excited when I receive hair products in my boxes. I love trying out new products and seeing what else is out …

Chit Chat First Impressions

I hope you guys enjoyed! What products have you tried? What were your thoughts? Comment below and let me know. Have a great weekend and see you guys Tuesday!

On A Personal Note.....

Sometimes it is hard to adapt when things change. You are just so used to how something is and then something new comes and it is going to change everything. I am willing to go with anything that changes in my life but I had a little difficult time with a change at work.
My job title and work load has changed. Two jobs were basically rolled into one position and when I first heard about it, I freaked out a little and was scared. I am still new to the current position I am in and thought I was going to be totally overwhelmed. I still had like a million questions a day and things always came up that I did not know and now I have to learn something else on top of that. I was wondering if I was going to be able to handle this.
I know that I asked for a challenge and worked really hard to get the job that I'm in now. So this seemed like another challenge to me. I know that I was doubting myself in the job I am in now but I wouldn't of gotten the job if they didn't believe I …

Ice Queen Halloween Tutorial

I have been wanting to do Halloween tutorials for a while but just was too scared to do them. I didn't have all the cool special effects or could use all the special makeup and stuff. I just thought if I didn't have all that, I couldn't do a tutorial. This year, I decided that I would stop being scared and just do one. I just thought of this idea and went with it. Hope you enjoy and grab a snack!

So that is it for my first Halloween tutorial. I will have another one next week! What are you doing for Halloween this year? Any parties? Comment below and let me know. See you guys Thursday!

September Favorites

I can't get over the fact that October is here and it still feels like Summer. We had a brief Fall weekend but Summer was like Nope, I'm still hanging around lol! Today I am sharing my September Favorites with a special guest. My son has been wanting to film with me for a while so I decided to let him in on the video. Be prepared to laugh!

You guys may see another appearance from my son, he is so silly and full of energy lol! I think I forgot to mention some favorites but you'll see them next month. What products have you tried? What were your thoughts? See you guys Thursday!
~**Drea Notes**~
Have you tried the new Starbucks drink? It seems like it is missing something, like it needed to be sweeter or needed some saltiness.
They recently opened a Zara in the mall near me! It is so nice in there, I only purchased one dress.

Honey Baby Naturals Skincare Review

It really has been feeling like Summer lately lol. It has been so warm and sunny. I wonder when the Fall weather is going to roll in lol. Today I am continuing my Honey Baby Naturals review. You can see my review on the hair products RIGHT HERE! Let's get into the reviews of their skincare products.

Honey Nectar Body Jelly

I tried this product at the show I went to in June and knew I had to have this product. Taken from the site, this body jelly is a  natural rich blend of emollients and oils sooth and protect against extremely dry skin. Unique 100% petrolatum free formula creates a protective layer over the skin and absorbs quickly. This protect has a unique consistency and it is pretty thick. It absorbs into the skin very well and doesn't feel heavy or greasy at all. I love the glow it gives my skin has and it keeps it moisturized all day. This may be a favorite during the colder weather.
Bee Sweet Face and Body Butter

If you are looking for something that is a little more …

Fro Butter Emu Oil Review

Well I guess Summer is still trying to hold on lol. I was about to pack away all the Summer clothes but I should leave them out I guess. I'll go through all my Fall wardrobe in the meantime to see what I'll need when the weather gets cooler. Today I am sharing my review on Fro Butter Emu Oil.

I don't know if I told you guys but I am one of Fro Butter's ambassadors for the next 6 months! I was so excited when I got the email about being chosen. You will be seeing post about their products more on here and my Instagram.
A little background on this company before we hop into the review:
Fro Butter is a Black Owned Business started in 2012 by owners Susana Stewart and Caroline Maina. They were in the market for affordable and organic hair products and it all started from there.
I was introduced to this product last year when I received it in my Onyx Box. I really loved the product and so did my husband and son lol. Taken directly from the site, the Emu Oil is designed…

Fall Fashion Trends 2017

I keep saying it but I'm going to speak it into existence, I'm going to New York Fashion Week one of these days. It has always been a dream of mine to go and I always miss when it is or have a conflicting schedule but I'm determined to get there. Speaking of fashion, I wanted to share some of my favorites Fall Fashions trends I've seen floating around.
Image taken from the web
I feel like plaid is one of those classic patterns that is always in style. It may not be in the forefront but you always see it. I love plaid, I don't wear it often but I just love how you can dress it up or down, be casual or dressy with it. I would normally wear a plaid button up shirt but would like to venture into different pieces.

When I first saw people doing this, I wasn't a fan but the more I saw different versions, I started to like it. I like this trend when it is done right. I feel like this can be worn on a night out, something you would wear to an event or m…

On a personal note...

I can't believe I've been married for 3 months already. It seemed like yesterday I was stressing out over wedding planning and now we are officially married. I have officially changed my last name and it is weird sometimes when people call me Mrs. Johnson. It wasn't as bad I thought going around to change my name. I don't think that now we made things official that it changed us, we are still the same people but just now husband and wife. It is more trying to be on the same page with finances, life, schedules, goals and so on. It is not just about myself anymore, we are a unit, we are one. It has been an adjustment making room for us to share space because as my husband said jokingly, I'm selfish with space. I have a lot of stuff, I'm a female, I'm supposed to lol. Overall, it has been great and I'm looking forward to many years of happiness and love. I feel like I've been having a mini mid-life crisis. I've felt all over the place with my thou…
