I'm Thankful.....

It is that time of the year again. Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays. Of course I love eating most of the day and spending time with family and friends. It seems like this is the only time of the year when we reflect over what we are thankful for but I feel we should be thankful everyday. Not trying to take away from Thanksgiving but sometimes we take the simple things for granted and I am guilty of that. There are people out there who do not know where their next meal is coming from, when that job will come through, if there will be enough money to pay all the bills, if they will have roof over their head and so on. I get so bent of shape and stressed over things that I should be more thankful. I have a place to call home, I have a place of employment, I have means of transportation (I don't know how my car is still going but I'm thankful it still runs lol), I have clothes and shoes to wear and I have people who love me. Things may not be rainbows and sunshine but i…

A Surprise Trip To The Ballet

My fiance is one who likes to tell me some surprises before they happen but he was great at keeping the day he proposed a secret lol. One day he sent me a calendar invite for a special night and I thought we were just going out to eat and hanging out by ourselves. He had to tell me one day that I was going to the ballet to see my idol dance, Misty Copeland!!! I was super happy and couldn't believe it. I've been wanting to get to the ballet for a long time but I couldn't wait to see her dance! I actually didn't know what to wear to the ballet and had to do some research on what to wear. I was under the assumption you had to wear a ballgown and be really fancy lol but as long as you were presentable. I was so excited that day and just couldn't wait to get there. The ballet was at the David H. Koch Theater and it was so beautiful in there! We actually had floor seats close to the stage which blew my mind!

We couldn't take pictures or film during the performance bu…

Exuviance Purifying Cleansing Gel Review*

It is crazy how fast stores are setting up for Christmas already! I'm not ready to hear any Christmas music until the day after Thanksgiving lol! Today I'm bringing you another post powered by BrandBacker. *This post is my opinion after using and testing the product. Let's get into my thoughts on this facial cleanser.

Powered By BrandBacker

This facial cleanser is new to me and I was really interested in giving it a try. I don't think I've tried a cleanser that is developed by dermatologist and soap-free. Directly from the site, here are key benefits of this purifying cleanser:

Formulated with Glycolic Acid (AHA) and Gluconolactone (PHA) Deep cleans to remove impurities Non-drying and gentle to skin For all skin types, including sensitive skin
This cleanser also soothes the skin and helps to improve the texture of it. I really liked the consistency of this cleanser and how well it worked with my skin. It was a gentle cleanser and did not dry my skin out. I did notice t…

Organize Hair products and Makeup

I got as far as purchasing some acrylic storage for my overflow of lip products. I found these on Amazon and hoping this is enough for everything lol!

The taller one is for liquid lipsticks and glosses and the shorter one is for lipsticks. I haven't found any storage for my hair products that I liked so I'm going to keep searching. I am going roll this one into next month to…
