Resolute Beauty Blogger-February and March 2015

Happy Thursday!!! Things have been a little crazy this week and kinda glad I have a day off tomorrow to relax and get some stuff done. Well I didn't update on my goals last month so I am combining them with this month's progress. I'm almost at the end of this and so amazed at how far I've come. Let's get into how I've been progressing with my goals!! Blogging Goals 1. Set A Blogging Schedule- Before I started my new full time status, I had my set Sunday, Tuesday and Friday schedule. After taking a small break to get adjusted to everything, my new schedule is now Sunday and Thursday . It took a little bit to figure out a schedule that was really going to work and I could stick to. So far, it's been good!! 2.Change Up Current Style- I still want to make changes to the design of this blog and that is in the works. I have added a new fashion series to my blog which I'm really excited about. It gives me an excuse to shop more lol!!  3

Brown Box Hair Product Review

Happy Sunday!! I thought Winter was really over but it is really trying to stay. I couldn't believe that it snowed on the first day of spring!!! Well I haven't done a post in this series since December. I have been really using my favorites so much I forget I have these products siting in my room to use. Let's get into the reviews. Karen's Body Beautiful Sweet Ambrosia Leave-In Conditioner Leave in conditioners are such a must in my hair routine. They really help with keeping the moisture in my hair and keeping it soft. I always love trying out new leave-ins. I really loved the sweet smell of this one. I wasn't too crazy about the consistency because I like my leave-ins to be kinda thick. I was a little disappointed that it didn't keep my hair as moisturized as other ones that I have used before. I probably wouldn't repurchase this one. This products runs for 12.00 and can be found on their website or in Target. III Sisters of Nature Natural Curling

Drea's Fashion Corner~ Piecing Together

Happy Thursday!! Hope everyone has been enjoying the week so far. While I was on my break, I was thinking about new series to bring to Naturalle Drea. I realized that I don't have a fashion series on here. I've talked about fashion here and there but not a full blown series. So now Drea's Fashion Corner has been born. I will introduce Piecing Together first. I have a large fashion and style board on Pinterest, you can follow me  HERE  if you are not already. I really want to build my wardrobe, especially my work attire. Towards the beginning of the month, I will post a photo from my Pinterest and have until the end of the month to create the outfit. This month is geared towards my work attire. I already have the long sleeve shirt, pencil skirt and pumps. I will be on the hunt for the black blazer with white stripes and black bag. Wish me luck! In April, I will introduce the other series in Drea's Fashion Corner. What are some of your favorite fashion trends? Com

February Favorites

Happy Sunday!!! I can't believe Spring forward is here already!! I'm ready for longer sun light but not looking forward to losing an hour of sleep!! This post is going to be on all the products I have been loving during the month of February. I usually do videos for my favorites but didn't have the time this month but videos will be back in March. Let's get into my favorites!! Model In A Bottle Setting Spray I purchased this setting spray at IMATS last year because of all the amazing things I heard about it. I normally don't use setting sprays but decided to give them a try and I really love this one. It does have a strong perfume scent at first but it goes away. My makeup stays put all day, I don't get extra oily and it just keeps my face looking fresh. Model In A Bottle Long Lasting Eyebrow Sealer Keeping with the Model In A Bottle theme, this was also purchased at IMATS. I didn't really use it for a while but decided to give it a try. Th

Homemade Decadence Review

I know I'm not the only one who is so over Winter. I hope this storm is the last one!!! Happy Thursday!! This post is going to be on the December Book choice from the Birchblogger Book Club. I was so excited to get a cookbook this time. I love cooking and this book was right up my alley. Let's get into  Homemade Decadence by Joy Wilson. I was literally drooling while flipping through the pages of this book. There are so many recipes for breakfast foods, drinks, cakes, pies and even ice cream!! I got so excited as I was deciding what to make. This is Joy Wilson's second cookbook and I just love it so much!! She is a self taught baker who became a professional and later on a photographer and author. I love the mix of sweet, salty and savory recipes. Some of the items are very interesting like Black Sesame Seed Shortbread and Dirty Chai Tea Lattes. There is something in here for everyone! So far, I have only made two things but I plan on baking a whole lot more! Here are

Insta Naural Peppermint and Lemon Essential Oil Review*

Happy Snowy Sunday!! I'm hoping this snow doesn't affect getting to school and work tomorrow!! Today I will be reviewing two essential oils from Insta Natural. *I received these products complementary to review and this post is based on my opinion after using. Let's get into the reviews. Powered by BrandBacker* I was so excited to receive these oils! I have used peppermint essential oil for DIY scrubs and for my hair. I wasn't too sure of the uses for the Lemon oil so I did some research online. I found so many uses for essential oils!! I didn't know that you could do so much with them. I found a few things I wanted to try out and have been loving these oils so far. Let's talk about each oil before getting into how I used them. Directly from the Insta Natural site, Lemon Essential Oil  is extracted from the rinds of lemon, which lends its fresh citrus fragrance. This cold-pressed oil has a strong bright scent that is both refreshing and uplifting.
