My Blogging and Personal Goals

Hey guys! Lately things have been crazy and hectic and just too crazy. I've been driving myself crazy thinking about too much and stressing out. So I was at work one day and this post popped in my head. I'm setting personal and blogging goals for myself to bring some order to my life and will be doing updates every month for the next 6 months to a year. Let's start with my blogging goals. Set a Blogging Schedule I blog whenever I have a day off or free time and it's always on different days. I want to set a schedule so I can be more prepared and not get behind on posting. I know that life happens and you can't help that sometimes but I feel if I want to be successful at this, I need to be a little more organized. Change Up the Style My blog is still going through changes and will be complete sometime soon. I also want to change the style of my blog a little bit. I've been doing some research and hopefully these are good changes!! Learn More about Blogg

Review on Lush R&B Hair Moisturizer

Hey guys! Hope everyone enjoyed their holiday weekend! I'm back to review Lush R&B Hair Moisturizer. I've been hearing some great things about this product but just haven't gotten around to trying it. I was in Lush one day and one of the employees who was natural made a sample for me and swore by it. She said it became her staple product and I couldn't wait to try it out for myself! Here is what the hair moisturizer looked like. Directly from Lush's website, it describes R&B "  Enjoy some of our smooth R & B hair stylings to control your frizzy, flyaway hair. An instant best-seller, our easy-to-use “hair finisher” uses softening ingredients of organic avocado butter, oatmeal, olive oil, extra virgin coconut oil, jojoba oil and candelilla wax because they are extremely effective for conditioning the hair and scalp. Three of our UK shop managers came up with R & B to revive and balance their wayward follicles. It works well with African

Shopping My Beauty Samples

Hey guys! I'm back with my new series I created "Shopping My Beauty Samples" last month. I used a few products in the past couple of weeks and here are my reviews on them. Pop Beauty Plump Pout in Fuchsia Freesia Box it came from: Ispy Full Size or Sample Size: Full Size Price Point: 16.00 Review: When I first saw the color of this, I was scared of the color. It looked so bright to me and I was wondering how it would look. To my surprise, it was not that bright on me. I love the color of this gloss, perfect for Spring. It's a bit sheer but still opaque. This gloss is so moisturizing, not sticky at all and does last for a good part of the day. I only have to reapply about once, maybe twice during the day. I would most definitely repurchase this gloss. Here is a swatch of it. Jouer Moisturizing LipGloss in Pink Glace Box it came from:  Birchbox Full Size or Sample Size: Sample Size Price Point: 20.00 Review: This came in such a cu

Brown Box Hair Product Reviews

Hey guys! I haven't done a post in this series in a while! I think I'm running low on the hair products I have and I think my best friend has more for me lol! Let's get into the products I used yesterday when I washed my hair. Aubrey GPB Balancing Conditioner I used this to co-wash my hair and this stuff was pretty amazing! I love the scent of sage in this and how it made my hair feel. It had pretty good slippage so I could finger detangle my hair. My hair felt so soft after rinsing this out. I think there is a shampoo to go with this and I would be really interested in trying it out. I would most definitely use this again. This is the full size bottle and it runs about 11.00. You can find it on their website and in beauty supply stores. Naturals by Hask Strengthening Masque I used this after co-washing. I loved that this masque contained avocado which is great for softening your hair. This was really easy to apply and I liked the thick, silky text

Update on No Buy

Hey guys! I am half way through my no buy and I've been good so far!! It's just so hard when new stuff comes out and it's so pretty!! Lol! I haven't no stepped into one MAC, Ulta or Sephora since I started but it's hard at Target! They just redid thew whole beauty section and those bright lights just call you to come over and look! And in a Target near me, I noticed my favorite hair company, Shea Moisture had their makeup line in stock!! I was so mad I couldn't purchase anything but will once this no buy is over! SO one month down and one more to go! I'm not sure if I will stretch this past June but you never know! I've been so busy picking up extra hours at work but some new post are coming soon! Lol, this was funny!!   ~** Drea Notes **~   I've been enjoying this Spring weather but not all this crazy rain!!   I'm really thinking about going back to school to find a new career path.

New Beauty Product

I'm so excited about this new perfume that I just got in the mail today!! I entered a giveaway on YouTube with one of my favorites to watch, Beauty By Lee. You can find her  here  on her YouTube channel! She's so amazing and makes it look so easy!! Anyway, she was doing a video on the recent purchases she made on FragranceNet.com. It's a website that has so many perfumes and colognes at a discount and they are the real deal, no knockoffs. So she was giving away a $50  gift card to one of her subscribers. All you had to do was be subscribed to her channel, like the video and post something in the comment section. So one night I was up late catching up on some videos I missed and saw the video announcing the winner. I kinda forgot I entered so I watched the video and was super shocked when I saw my name on the screen!!! I was super excited!! I emailed her right away and this was 11pm and I didn't think that she would respond but she did. She said that she saw that I watch

On a personal note....

I had other stuff on my mind but with Mother's Day around the corner, the thought of this post changed! It's just amazing how motherhood can change your life and perspective on things! You have someone else to think about first, care and provide for and teach about life. Growing up, I thought I knew it all. Boy was I wrong lol! I remember when my mom told me I had to start doing my own laundry. I didn't really listen on how to do it. When I tried to wash my clothes, I honestly thought the washing machine already had the soap in it so all I had to do was throw the clothes in. Lol, I still laugh about that. She laughed at me too and taught me the right way. She had so many life lessons for me that I didn't appreciate or really grasp until I was independent and doing things on my own. She was right about everything she was teaching me and I appreciate it so much. I love how supportive my mom is. She's always there when I need her, especially helping me raise my son. Na

New Vitamins

Hey guys! I recent did a review on the biotin vitamins that I tried out by Country Life. You can check that out  here.  I did repurchase them and decided to pair them with a multi-vitamin.I picked both vitamins up at the Vitamin Shoppe and got the store brand One Daily Women's Multi-Vitamin.  I wasn't so consistent with taking my vitamins every day and will work on taking them everyday and seeing if I get better results. Here is a picture of the vitamins that I will be taking. I will be back with a full review when I am finished with them. What vitamins are you currently taking? Comment below and let me know!! ~** Drea Notes **~ My abs hurt soooooo much!! I'm being consistent.....so far lol!! I can't wait to BBQ soon, I love BBQ food and cookouts!! Did I metion that my legs hurt too lol???

Playing Catch Up- Bath and Body Works Challenge Results

Hey guys! So sometime last year, I did a Bath And Body Works Challenge on the old formula vs the new formula. I was supposed to update and give results but never did. You can read the original post  here. I used to work at Bath and Body Works part time and loved that job!! I have so much stuff by them, I could probably open my own store lol! They are always changing the reformulating their products to make them better. I was in the store one day and saw that they have new formulas for the shower gel and body lotion. It gave me an idea to compare the old formula with the new one. The old formula I already had and it was the scent Country Chic and I purchased the new one in Twilight Woods. As you can see the packaging is completely different. I was drawn to the newer look because it looked more chic and stylish. So lets get into the reviews of both formulas. Old Formula-Country Chic I loved this scent. It was such a nice and girly scent. It wasn't too strong and great for ev

Review on Shopping My Beauty Samples Week 5

Hey guys!! Sorry for the delay of this post, I had a really busy weekend! My family and I threw a surprise birthday party for my mom and it was such a success!! She was really surprised!! So lets get into the reviews on the products I used the last few day of April!! Skin&Co Roma Sicilian Body Gel Box it came from: Birchbox Full Size or Sample Size: Sample Size Price Point: 18.50 Review: I always love a good body product and this was a good one! I loved that it was a body gel and you didn't need a whole lot to wash with. It lathered up pretty good and smelled just as good. I would say this is a unisex scent and either a female or male can use this. It left my skin feeling pretty smooth and didn't have that dry feeling like some body washes do. I think I would use this again. Uniqone All in One Hair Treatment Box it came from: Birchbox Full Size or Sample Size: Sample Size Price Point: 17.99 Review: Usually when I get hair samples, its pr

April Monthly Favorites

Hey guys!! Here are the products that I have loving last month! This one is a bit different, I picked out my favorites that I used during April's Series of Shopping My Beauty Samples. I also had two other items that I was loving too. What were your monthly favorites? Have you tried any of these products? Comment below and let me know!!! ~** Drea Notes **~ I actually went to the gym today!! So proud of myself!! Target has been trying to get me, they redid the beauty section and those lights were trying to call me over but I didn't get tempted lol!!

Review on Country Life Maxi Hair Plus Biotin Vitamins

Back in February, I purchased these vitamins to try out and I finally finished the bottle lol. You can find my first post about these vitamins  here. I previously tried Biotin vitamins by Nature Made and you can see my review on those  here.  I read some where on Facebook that these were the dupe to the Hairfinity Vitamins that everyone is talking about. I wanted to see for myself how these vitamins worked. I read reviews before purchasing and saw nothing but great reviews except for one or two people saying they had a headache when they first started them.I love that these are Gluten-Free and Vegetarian capsules. The only thing about these vitamins is having to take four daily. I found it better for me to split them up. I would take two after breakfast and the remaining two during lunch. Sometimes I would forget to take the second set or forget them all together. I will say that I saw better results with these than with the Nature Made vitamins. My hair is fuller and has grown so

Welcome To May!!

Boy April did bring those April Showers!! Can you believe how fast Spring is flying by?? May is here!! I did have a theme in mind but I was looking through my post and saw that I haven't updated on some post or did some requested post. So I'm playing catch up this month. I will be updating on post, doing reviews on items that I've used and didn't post about and the usual post. So stay tuned for all the catching up I need to do this month!! ~**Drea Notes**~   April Monthly Favorites will be up tomorrow!!   Once again, I've been slacking off on working out lol but I'm trying to get it together.     I'm so ready to hit the beach and stay there forever!!
