On a personal note....

Its been a while since I have posted on this series! I have just been so busy with just about everything! Can't believe March is already here but Spring still hasn't made an appearance lol! The other day I was getting ready in the morning and I just heard my son calling "Mommy! Mommy!" Still crazy that I'm a mommy now and its just amazing how you can just love someone so much. I'm loving every minute of this. I've always loved children, I have lots of smaller cousins, nieces and nephews. It was just great to have them around, laughing and playing and just having so much fun. I always tried to imagine what kind of parent I would be, what my kids would be like and everything. I was initially scared when I discovered I was pregnant. It was like wow, I'm really going to experience bringing another life into this world. I just worried so much about doing everything right, eating right, making sure he was going to be healthy and taking care of myself. As it

Hair Mask/Treatment Review

Hey guys!! I am back with another hair mask review that I tried on Friday. I forgot where I got this recipe but here are the ingredients and directions: 1/4 Avocado ( I actually used half because it was a small one) 1/2 banana 2-3 Tbsp Olive Oil 2-3 Tbsp Mayo I used three tablespoons of each. Mix all ingredients together, apply to hair, cover and leave in for 1/2 hour then wash out. It was pretty easy to make, I don't think I mashed it well enough but I didn't have any left over chunks in my hair. Here is what the hair mask looked like. The mask in my hair, lol! When I was washing it out, my hair felt a little rough but as I washed my hair, it felt really soft and my hair still feels soft. I would use this mask again. Have you ever used a hair mask like this before? Comment and let me know!!

Bantu Knot Results

Hey guys! I do apologize for the delay of this post! I was unable to video how I took them out but if you would like to see one, please comment below and let me know! So let's get started!! I slept with a satin bonnet overnight and most of them stayed together! Next I removed all the bobby pin and took each bantu knot down. I just pulled gently or twisted them in the opposite direction. Then I carefully separated each twist once. After you separate the first time, you can separate each section to your desired volume or liking. I stopped after separating once. Afterwards I applied some oil to my hair and fluffed so you didn't see any parts and that's it!!  They came out really good and hopefully will last for a few days. So again if you would like to see a video on how I take them out, comment below! ~ ** Drea Notes** ~ I know I didn't hear snow in the weather forecast!!! Ugh!! Had a really great weekend with my friends!!

So lets get started!! Walgreens Just randomly in here one day saw that some of the Milani products were on sale! The only Milani products I own are a few nail polishes and I wanted to try out some of their beauty products. I also wanted to pick up two more of the Jordana lip pencils, I love them!!! Milani Products: Brilliant Lip Shine Lip Gloss in Berry Tempting Baked Blush in Red Vino Iluminating Face Powder in Amber Nectar Jordana Lip Pencils in Plush Plum(top) and Terra Kiss(bottom) Ulta So I went to Ulta on multiple occasions and even found a random bag of goodies when I was cleaning one day lol! February Monthly Favorites

Hey guys! I normally post a video for my monthly favorites but I've been sick for the past couple of days and my voice is pretty horse! Oh what fun lol but here are the things that I loved during the month of February! Malin + Goetz Mojito Lip Balm This was in my February Ipsy bag and I was reading about how everyone else loved it so much. Now I see what you guys were talking about! I love how thick and non sticky this lip balm is. You don't have to apply it too many times during the day and it really keeps your lip moisturized and soft. I will be repurchasing another one when this one is empty! Cover Girl Queen Collection Lasting Matte Pressed Powder in Golden I picked this up at Target in late January and I was surprised that I found my shade on the first try!! I love how lightweight this feels and it has about medium coverage. I usually get oily in my T-Zone and I don't see anything when I wear this foundation! Cover Girl Queen Collection Lipstick

Brown Box Hair Product Reviews

Hey guys!! My reviews on the hair products that my best friend gave me are back!! I was afraid to wash my hair after I got it straightened last month because I knew I couldn't duplicate what the stylist did lol! I washed my hair last night and these are the products I used and reviewed. Giovanni Tea Tree Triple Treat Invigorating Shampoo After rinsing out the hair treatment, I shampooed my hair. I loved how I didn't need a lot of product and it lathered up very nicely. It smells amazing and really made my hair feel clean and smooth. I did not feel a tingling sensation when using this shampoo. I would definitely repurchase this shampoo. The full size container is about 7.59 and can be found at Target or another drugstore. Giovanni Tea Tree Triple Treat Invigorating Conditioner After shampooing my hair, I applied this conditioner. Again, you didn't a lot of product to use on your hair. This conditioner had great slippage that made it very easy to finger detangle m

Hair Mask/Treatment Review

Hey guys! I am back with this months theme of March Madness About Hair! Each week, I will be reviewing a DIY Hair Mask or Treatment and reviewing my results. I washed my hair last night and tried this hair treatment out since my hair was straight last month and had some heat used on it. Here is the recipe: 1 Banana 1 Egg 5 Tbsp Milk 5 Tbsp Olive Oil Mix all ingredients in a blender, apply to hair and leave in for 15-30 minutes. Rinse and shampoo and condition. I got this recipe from www.curlynikki.com. This was very easy to make in the blender. The treatment had a pretty thick consistency and was easy to apply to my hair. I left it in for 15-20 and it was easy to rinse out. My hair felt soft and smooth afterwards and was pretty manageable. What the treatment looked like after blending: The Treatment in my hair, lol After Washing My Hair and Styling What hair treatments or mask do you use in your hair? Comment and let me know!! ~ ** Drea Notes** ~
