Shopping My Beauty Samples

It seems like the warm weather is trying to sneak back in lol. I hope the flip flop of weather doesn't mess with my allergies. I haven't shopped my beauty samples in a while and I have a few that I'm going to review today. Fro Butter Emu Oil and Jamaican Black Castor Oil Box It Came From: Onyx Box Full Size or Sample Size: Travel Size Price Point: 15.00 Review: I was really curious to give these butters a try. I have only used Shea Butter in my hair all this time. I really love both of these fro butters. They do not weigh my hair down, they both smell amazing and kept my hair soft and moisturized. The Emu oil is geared towards hair growth and the Jamaica black castor oil is to help thicken your hair. I would repurchase these. Not Soap Radio Joy Inducing and Beach + Sky  Blue Water Box It Came From: Birchbox Full Size or Sample Size: Sample Size Price Point: 16.00 Review:   I love when I get samples of body washes. The names of these are so cute a...

Essence and Ebony Magazine: Best of 2015 Beauty

Happy Monday! As most of you know Essence is one of my favorite magazines and so is Ebony. When I saw their best of 2015 articles, I got an idea for a post. I was going to try out some of these products for a few weeks and post my thoughts on them. Most of what I'm going to talk about is makeup but I have a couple non makeup products to talk about. I held off on the hair products until I took out my faux locs (which I was supposed to take out this weekend but didn't happen lol) So let's get into the reviews. Best Makeup Primer: Cover Girl Outlast All-Day Primer I recently raved about this primer in my October favorites. This is my new favorite, holy grail primer. I had to try this when I saw that it helped with oily skin. I don't have to blot my t-zone anymore or only once a day with this primer. It really does an amazing job with controlling the oil. It also gives a flawless canvas for your foundation and hides my pores. It is only 9.00 and can be found at a...

Nivea In Shower Body Lotion Review

Happy Thursday!! It has been another crazy week at work!! Classes start again next week and I'm trying to get mentally prepared! Today's post is going to be a review on the Nivea In-Shower Body Lotion I've been trying out for a while. Let's get into the review. Excuse the bottle, it's been in the shower for a while lol I saw this in Walmart one day and thought it would be great for those mornings I'm running late. I already love the Nivea Body lotion that saved my skin last Winter so I figured this would work just as well. The concept behind this is to save some time getting ready in the morning and gives you that moisturized skin in the shower. This comes in three different lotions for different skin types. I picked up the very dry skin and there is also one for dry skin and normal to oily skin.  You would cleanse your skin like you normally would then apply this all over, rinse off and you are ready to go. I love the consistency of this loti...
