Shopping My Beauty Samples

Happy Thursday!! It seems like November is flying by and Thanksgiving will be here very soon!! I can't wait to eat all day and spend time with family! I have another post from my Shopping My Beauty Samples series. Let's get into the reviews!

100% Pure Coffee Bean Caffeine Eye Cream

Box It Came From: Birchbox
Full Size or Sample Size: Sample Size
Price Point: 13.00 and 25.00
Review: I always love trying new skincare products, especially eye creams. I love this company, they have amazing skincare products. I knew I was going to love this eye cream. It settles into my skin well and I don't look so tired in the morning. It really helps with looking more refreshed and awake. I think I would purchase this eye cream when I finish with this size.

Eco-Beauty by LaFresh Group Good Day Good Moisturizer

Box It Came From: Birchbox
Full Size or Sample Size: Sample Size
Price Point: 40.00
Review: The packaging for this moisturizer is so cute! I love it. I have tried products from this company before and have liked everything I've tried so far. I really like this product as well. It keeps my skin hydrated all day, I don't get dry at all and it doesn't make me very oily. My skin has been looking healthy and I just love it. I think I would invest in the full size.

Temptu Champagne Shimmer Highlight

Box It Came From: Ipsy
Full Size or Sample Size: Sample Size
Price Point: 27.50
Review: It seems like everything is about having that poppin' highlight now lol! Every time I look, another highlight is coming out. I have a few and was excited when I got this sample. This can be used by itself or with the Temptu air brush machine. I normally use powder highlights so it was different using a liquid one. The color of this is so pretty and is pigmented. I think this pinkish-golden color would look amazing on anyone! You can make it this as subtle or as bold as you want. I have used this alone and have topped it off with a powder and had amazing results with both. I think I would purchase this one. Here is a picture of the sample and me wearing the highlight alone.

St. Ives Blackhead Clearing Green Tea Scrub

Box It Came From: Walmart
Full Size or Sample Size: Sample Size
Price Point: 6.00
Review: I have noticed some blackheads on my nose and was pretty excited when I saw this on my box. I wasn't too happy about the salicylic acne medication that is in this scrub. I don't have acne prone skin but wanted to get rid of the blackheads. The scrub is pretty gentle and not so abrasive. It did irritate my skin a bit but got rid of the blackheads. I don't think I would purchase or use this again.

Dr. Brandt Pores No More Cleanser

Box It Came In: Birchbox
Full Size or Sample Size: Sample Size
Price Point: 35.00
Review: I have been loving this brand and everything that I have tried out so far. I knew I was going to love this cleanser. It really gets in there and removes the dirt and makeup. It left my skin feeling so clean and smooth. I think I would purchase the full size. The container looks like it has a lot of product that will last for a while.

Royal Apothic Cuppa Cuppa Firming Tea Treatment Mask

Box It Came From: Birchbox
Full Size or Sample Size: Full Size
Price Point: One for 12.00 or set of 6 for 58.00
Review: I love a good multi purpose product. This is a mask and exfoliator in one. If you are not one for the strong cooling sensations, I wouldn't recommend this one. The cooling sensation is pretty strong but it is not overbearing. It doesn't get too tight on the face and left my skin looking and feeling amazing! I really loved this product and may purchase it. Here is a picture of me wearing the mask.

Sometimes its hard.....

You know when you keep thinking of something and you just feel like you have to get it out? That was me before sitting down to write this post. I had something else planned to write but I kept thinking...sometimes its hard and it just evolved from there. We all heard the sayings, life isn't fair, life is hard and so on. Sometimes life can be hard but we don't experience it for long. There are so many things that I want to do but I know I can't do a million things at once. I can't just pick and go anymore, I'm someone's parent now. There are times I want to but I know things have to be planned out now. I will get to those place I want to go, just have to be patient and plan it out. It seems like we focus so much on what is hard about life that we forget about the easy stuff. We forget sometimes about all the good things that happen and to be grateful for getting through those rough patches. You may not like your living situation but you have a roof over ...

On a personal note....Update on Blogging and Personal Goals

Happy Football Sunday!! I hope everyone has been enjoying the weekend and getting ready to celebrate Thanksgiving!! I can't believe it is this week! I can't wait to spend time with family! I thought about giving an update to the personal and blogging goals I set for myself last year with the Resolute Beauty Blogger series. You can check out my results post  HERE!!  I completed this in May of this year so let's see how I've been doing since then. Blogging Goals 1. Attend A Blogging Event- Since then I have not attended another event. I was so happy when I did find my one event to attend. I have been keeping in contact with those bloggers I met and reading their blogs. I have been finding events but there are scheduling conflicts. I hope to find another one very soon. 2. Set A Blogging Schedule- I am still sticking to my Sunday, Thursday and every other Friday schedule. It has been really working with my hectic schedule I already have. 3. Change Up Current Style-...

Taking a break.......

On Tuesday I did mention that I had some exciting news to share. I have been working part time for a while and searching like crazy for full time work. I was starting to get a little frustrated but never gave up. Well a full time opportunity came up at my current job and I am now full time status!!! I was just so overjoyed and thankful. I will have a more stable income, I can go back to school and start to make some moves. Then I started to get a little overwhelmed. How was I going to juggle being a full-time working mom, grad student, blogger and balance everything else. It has been a while since I had a full time schedule and based my blogging schedule around my days off during the week. I start my full time hours next week and just need to take a small break away from Naturalle Drea. I really didn't want to because I love this so much but I need to see how to handle everything. I will most likely change my blogging schedule around. Thank you to those who have been encouraging to...
