Sephora Fragrance Review

I may be one of the only people who do not mind getting perfume samples. I love to try different fragrances, especially the expensive ones without breaking my pockets lol! I get to see what fragrances work well with my body chemistry and what ones are worth purchasing. Today I'm going to review a couple fragrances that I got as a promotion from Sephora.

You know how you get those emails from Sephora if you are a beauty insider, free product or set with a purchase of a certain amount? One day an email came with a set of 9 fragrances and that cute bag when you made a purchase of $35. You had a choice of two different sets and I couldn't resist as usual lol! I choose the Femme Fatal set because of a few fragrances I've been wanting to try. Let's get into each one. P.S. I'm not the best at describing scents but I just know what smells good to me lol!

YSL Black Opium

Key Notes: Coffee Accord, Orange Blossom, Cedarwood Essence and Patchouli Essense.

I raved about this perfume in one of my favorites. I have the rollerball in this fragrance and I am obsessed with the scent. I wear this during the day but can be worn for a girl's night out or date night.

Prada Candy

Key Notes: Vanilla, Musk, Caramel and Benzoin

I've tried the Prada Candy Florale scent but not this one. I knew I was going to love this one as much as the other one. This scent is not overpowering and you can wear this day or night. It does have a sweet scent but it is not too sweet.

Marc Jacobs Decadence

Key Notes: Italian Plum, Iris Flower, Saffron, Bulgarian Rose, Jasmine Sambac, Orris, Vetiver, Papyrus Woods and Liquid Amber.

I instantly fell in love with the fragrance the first time I smelled it. I have never smelled anything like this before and most definitely want the full size of this. I love the staying power of this fragrance and just love it so much.

Derek Lamb 10 Crosby Looking Glass

Key Notes: Chinese Magnolia, Tonka Bean Madagascar.

This is such a nice day time fragrance. It is like a warm, fresh scent which is nice to wear everyday. I saw on the Sephora site that their are other fragrances by this brand that I am interested in trying.

Tom Ford Neroli Portofino Acqua

Key Notes: Tunisian Neroli, Italian Bergamot, Sicilian Lemon, Winter Yellow Mandarin, Orange Flower, Lavender, Rosemary, Amber.

I've always wanted to try a fragrance by Tom Ford, well just about any product by him. I hear so many good things about the company but it is just out of my price range. I was super excited to try this and I understand why everyone loves this luxury brand. The scent of this perfume is just amazing. I would love to try the other fragrances if I can.

Philosophy Grateful and Compassionate

Key Notes: Creamy Vanilla and Watery Floral

I have never thought to layer fragrances together. I always thought I would make a bad combination lol. The Compassionate fragrance is a sweet vanilla and the Grateful one is a light floral scent. You can wear these alone but together make the most amazing scent! It is so unique and just an amazing scent to wear, I love it for everyday.

Clean Reserve Velvet Flora

Key Notes: Green Bergamot, Jasmine Lily, Saffron Flower, Cedarwood, Moss, Musk, Amber, Patchouli.

I realized that I reviewed this in Shopping My Beauty Samples series lol. I had another fragrance by Clean as well and love them both. They are both great fragrances for day or night.

Atelier Cologne Bergamote Soleil Cologne Absolue

Key Notes: Bergamot, Bigarade, Ambrette, Jasmine, Lavender, Cardamom, Vetiver, Oak Moss, White Amber.

I won a fragrance by Atelier and really loved it. I thought I wasn't going to like this one because of the bergamot. It can be a strong scent but it was pretty subtle in this perfume, I really liked it.

So that is it for this fragrance review. Have you tried any of these perfumes? What were your thoughts? Comment below and let me know. See you guys Thursday.

Sometimes its hard.....

You know when you keep thinking of something and you just feel like you have to get it out? That was me before sitting down to write this post. I had something else planned to write but I kept thinking...sometimes its hard and it just evolved from there. We all heard the sayings, life isn't fair, life is hard and so on. Sometimes life can be hard but we don't experience it for long. There are so many things that I want to do but I know I can't do a million things at once. I can't just pick and go anymore, I'm someone's parent now. There are times I want to but I know things have to be planned out now. I will get to those place I want to go, just have to be patient and plan it out. It seems like we focus so much on what is hard about life that we forget about the easy stuff. We forget sometimes about all the good things that happen and to be grateful for getting through those rough patches. You may not like your living situation but you have a roof over ...

On a personal note....Update on Blogging and Personal Goals

Happy Football Sunday!! I hope everyone has been enjoying the weekend and getting ready to celebrate Thanksgiving!! I can't believe it is this week! I can't wait to spend time with family! I thought about giving an update to the personal and blogging goals I set for myself last year with the Resolute Beauty Blogger series. You can check out my results post  HERE!!  I completed this in May of this year so let's see how I've been doing since then. Blogging Goals 1. Attend A Blogging Event- Since then I have not attended another event. I was so happy when I did find my one event to attend. I have been keeping in contact with those bloggers I met and reading their blogs. I have been finding events but there are scheduling conflicts. I hope to find another one very soon. 2. Set A Blogging Schedule- I am still sticking to my Sunday, Thursday and every other Friday schedule. It has been really working with my hectic schedule I already have. 3. Change Up Current Style-...

Taking a break.......

On Tuesday I did mention that I had some exciting news to share. I have been working part time for a while and searching like crazy for full time work. I was starting to get a little frustrated but never gave up. Well a full time opportunity came up at my current job and I am now full time status!!! I was just so overjoyed and thankful. I will have a more stable income, I can go back to school and start to make some moves. Then I started to get a little overwhelmed. How was I going to juggle being a full-time working mom, grad student, blogger and balance everything else. It has been a while since I had a full time schedule and based my blogging schedule around my days off during the week. I start my full time hours next week and just need to take a small break away from Naturalle Drea. I really didn't want to because I love this so much but I need to see how to handle everything. I will most likely change my blogging schedule around. Thank you to those who have been encouraging to...
