The Resolute Beauty Blogger- September 2014

Happy Football Sunday!! My team is currently losing right now, ugh! Here are my September updates for the Resolute Beauty Blogger!!

Blogging Goals

1. Set a blogging schedule- So far so good, still sticking to my schedule except for last week, it was a crazy busy week.

2. Change up the current style- I have been changing my greeting before I start each post and the overall look of my blog is still being discussed and worked on. I am hoping to start during some tutorials soon and working on putting together a Fall Fashion Lookbook!!

3. Learn more about blogging- I have still been doing some research on blogging and have come across so much information. I mainly have been looking up how to get more traffic here and how to be a better blogger. I will most likely do a post on what I found.

4. Attend a blogging event- Still looking for one but I found a few natural hair brunches I want to attend soon.

5. Proof read better- I have been really working on this. I am making sure I read my post out loud twice and correcting my mistakes.

6. Get calendar and blogging book- I have been using them and it has been helping with keeping everything organized!!

Personal Goals

1. Finding myself and figuring out what I want to do- I'm still working on those questions I talked about previously but I am making progress. It is really making me think and know myself a little better.

2. Use BBW stash more- Funny thing is when I was cleaning one day, I found three sets of new scents that I purchased over the summer along with some candles lol! I recently started using Twlight Woods which is one of favorites to use in the Fall season.

3. Wearing skirts and dresses more often- I have still been sticking to this. I have to get more stockings to wear because it is getting cold.

4. Wearing makeup more often- My work schedule sometimes changes and I chose to sleep more than wake up early to do my makeup lol! I went two weeks this month without a single bit of it. Well I let my skin breathe a bit but I missed it .

5. Be more prepared and organized- Kinda slacked off on this one. There have been times where I just have a half hour to get myself ready and run out without my lunch and snacks. I'm working on it lol!

6. Not to stress so much- I'm really going to miss sitting outside on my lunch break. That did help with clearing my head. I haven't been stressing out too much except for these past couple weeks. Everything is going to be okay.

So that is it on the progress I have been making on my goals. How are you making out on your goals? Comment below and let me know. See everyone on Tuesday!!

~**Drea Notes**~

Sometimes its hard.....

You know when you keep thinking of something and you just feel like you have to get it out? That was me before sitting down to write this post. I had something else planned to write but I kept thinking...sometimes its hard and it just evolved from there. We all heard the sayings, life isn't fair, life is hard and so on. Sometimes life can be hard but we don't experience it for long. There are so many things that I want to do but I know I can't do a million things at once. I can't just pick and go anymore, I'm someone's parent now. There are times I want to but I know things have to be planned out now. I will get to those place I want to go, just have to be patient and plan it out. It seems like we focus so much on what is hard about life that we forget about the easy stuff. We forget sometimes about all the good things that happen and to be grateful for getting through those rough patches. You may not like your living situation but you have a roof over

On a personal note....Update on Blogging and Personal Goals

Happy Football Sunday!! I hope everyone has been enjoying the weekend and getting ready to celebrate Thanksgiving!! I can't believe it is this week! I can't wait to spend time with family! I thought about giving an update to the personal and blogging goals I set for myself last year with the Resolute Beauty Blogger series. You can check out my results post  HERE!!  I completed this in May of this year so let's see how I've been doing since then. Blogging Goals 1. Attend A Blogging Event- Since then I have not attended another event. I was so happy when I did find my one event to attend. I have been keeping in contact with those bloggers I met and reading their blogs. I have been finding events but there are scheduling conflicts. I hope to find another one very soon. 2. Set A Blogging Schedule- I am still sticking to my Sunday, Thursday and every other Friday schedule. It has been really working with my hectic schedule I already have. 3. Change Up Current Style-

Fall Fashion Trends 2017

I keep saying it but I'm going to speak it into existence, I'm going to New York Fashion Week one of these days. It has always been a dream of mine to go and I always miss when it is or have a conflicting schedule but I'm determined to get there. Speaking of fashion, I wanted to share some of my favorites Fall Fashions trends I've seen floating around.  Plaid Image taken from the web I feel like plaid is one of those classic patterns that is always in style. It may not be in the forefront but you always see it. I love plaid, I don't wear it often but I just love how you can dress it up or down, be casual or dressy with it. I would normally wear a plaid button up shirt but would like to venture into different pieces. Sleepwear  When I first saw people doing this, I wasn't a fan but the more I saw different versions, I started to like it. I like this trend when it is done right. I feel like this can be worn on a night out, something you
