Writing Process Tour

Happy Football Sunday (I'm happy that my team won earlier today!)! Hope everyone has been enjoying the weekend so far. This post is going to be continuing the Writing Process Tour. I was nominated by the lovely + Keisha over at The Chrysalis Gals. She has wonderful makeup looks and tutorials to share, DIY recipes and recently launched her own makeup line! She is just a sweet person and thanks for nominating me. Now on to the questions.

1. What are you working on? I am still mapping out when I will do certain posts for this month. For this week, I will be getting a product review up and updated hair routine.

2. How does your work differ from others in this genre? I talk more about natural hair and natural hair products than everyone else I'm following now. I'm hoping to expand more into that world soon.

3. Why do I write what I do? I love everything about hair, makeup, fashion, beauty and all things girly. I wanted an outlet to talk about these things and learn more about different products I've never heard of before and meet some wonderful bloggers along the way.

4. How does your writing process work? Well, I write everything down in my blogging book. I take notes when I use products for reviews, for any ideas for post that pop into my head and my monthly favorites. Then I just sit down and write the post based on my notes. Its my vlogs that take some time lol.

Now I nominate the following ladies to continue the Writing Process Tour on Sept. 14 :

Rhodine over at Born To Blossom. I love reading all about the luxury products she has and is just a sweet person.

Caledonian Kitty over at Caledonian Kitty. She is over in the UK and love reading about the products we don't have over here in the US.

So that is it for this post. What is your writing process? Comment below and let me know. See you guys on Tuesday!!

  4. Oh Andrea, I didn't know you nominated me. Thanks a bunch. Will definitely get the post up and let you know when I do. A blogging book sounds like a great idea. Great for organization and ideas. Love all your hair care reviews and all your reviews on eyeshadows + more. I agree with Tanya!

Sometimes its hard.....

You know when you keep thinking of something and you just feel like you have to get it out? That was me before sitting down to write this post. I had something else planned to write but I kept thinking...sometimes its hard and it just evolved from there. We all heard the sayings, life isn't fair, life is hard and so on. Sometimes life can be hard but we don't experience it for long. There are so many things that I want to do but I know I can't do a million things at once. I can't just pick and go anymore, I'm someone's parent now. There are times I want to but I know things have to be planned out now. I will get to those place I want to go, just have to be patient and plan it out. It seems like we focus so much on what is hard about life that we forget about the easy stuff. We forget sometimes about all the good things that happen and to be grateful for getting through those rough patches. You may not like your living situation but you have a roof over

On a personal note....Update on Blogging and Personal Goals

Happy Football Sunday!! I hope everyone has been enjoying the weekend and getting ready to celebrate Thanksgiving!! I can't believe it is this week! I can't wait to spend time with family! I thought about giving an update to the personal and blogging goals I set for myself last year with the Resolute Beauty Blogger series. You can check out my results post  HERE!!  I completed this in May of this year so let's see how I've been doing since then. Blogging Goals 1. Attend A Blogging Event- Since then I have not attended another event. I was so happy when I did find my one event to attend. I have been keeping in contact with those bloggers I met and reading their blogs. I have been finding events but there are scheduling conflicts. I hope to find another one very soon. 2. Set A Blogging Schedule- I am still sticking to my Sunday, Thursday and every other Friday schedule. It has been really working with my hectic schedule I already have. 3. Change Up Current Style-

Fall Fashion Trends 2017

I keep saying it but I'm going to speak it into existence, I'm going to New York Fashion Week one of these days. It has always been a dream of mine to go and I always miss when it is or have a conflicting schedule but I'm determined to get there. Speaking of fashion, I wanted to share some of my favorites Fall Fashions trends I've seen floating around.  Plaid Image taken from the web I feel like plaid is one of those classic patterns that is always in style. It may not be in the forefront but you always see it. I love plaid, I don't wear it often but I just love how you can dress it up or down, be casual or dressy with it. I would normally wear a plaid button up shirt but would like to venture into different pieces. Sleepwear  When I first saw people doing this, I wasn't a fan but the more I saw different versions, I started to like it. I like this trend when it is done right. I feel like this can be worn on a night out, something you
