Makeup Remover Wipe Reviews

Happy Tuesday!! Just can't get over how fast the Summer went and we are almost into Fall. This post is going to be on two different makeup remover wipes that I have tried out and will be reviewing. So let's get right into it!

Alcone Makeup Remover Wipes

I got these at IMATS back in April. My friend recommended them to me because she said that Queen of Blending swears by them. I believe I paid $10 or less than that for them at IMATS for a 30 pack. These wipes sat in my drawer for a bit because I was still using my coconut oil to remove my makeup. I really love these makeup remover wipes so much. They are gentle on the skin, especially around the eye area. They had a mild scent and really got the makeup off. It only took one wipe to remove everything. It says on the packaging that it removes makeup in one swipe, well it does for eyeshadow. I was pretty impressed by that. You can find them on the Alcone website for 12.95 and I will be repurchasing these next year at IMATS.

Equate Night Time Soothing Makeup Remover Wipes

I did use all of the Alcone wipes and wanted to try another brand. I was going to pick up the Neutrogena ones until I saw the Walmart brand. They were a couple dollars less and I heard some good things about them. I am still using these and I do enjoy them. They get the makeup off but I've had some time removing my eyeliner. I had to really work at getting all of it off.  It is somewhat gentle around the eye area but did sting a tiny bit trying to remove eyeliner. I like the soothing scent of these. They did have other scents from the Equate brand that I would like to try sometime. I think I may stick with these until I get the ones from Alcone again. These run 4-5 dollars at Walmart.

So that is it for my review on makeup remover wipes. Have you tried these before? What are your favorite makeup remover wipes? Comment below and let me know!!

  1. My favorite makeup remover wipes are the elf studio wipes. You can get 20 at target for $3.00. Before that I was using the mac wipes. I used the Neutrogena wipes a long time ago and didn't like them because they burned my eyes.

  2. The Alcone wipes sound really gentle and effective. My fav wipes are the Simple ones. I really like that they are super gentle on the eyes. They are a lil expensive though.

  3. I am picky with my remover wipes too but I swear by the baby wipes, very gentle on the skin but for eyes I still need an eye makeup remover to get everything out. I like CLEANSE wipes, they're made by a makeup artist and it is really gentle and wipes everything off!

Make Beauty Review*

Happy Friday beauty lovers! I hope you have been enjoying Winter again lol! I hope Mother Nature gets it together soon lol. Today I am bringing you another review powered by BrandBacker! *I was sent these products for testing purposes and this is my opinion after using. Let's get into the reviews! *Powered By BrandBacker* I was pretty excited when I was picked for this campaign. I have tried a Make Beauty eyeshadow before and loved it. Honestly, I was expecting the samples to be a little bigger. I was a little disappointed in the lipstick sample, it was hard to use. It kept breaking when I was trying to apply it. Make Beauty is a very new company to me that I was introduced to through Birchbox.  They have just about everything from eyeshadows to contour kits. They also have a line for skincare as well. Alabaster Eyeshadow This shadow on the Make Beauty site is described as a soft eggshell with peach undertones. This shadow is a matte and can be used as a brow

Sometimes its hard.....

You know when you keep thinking of something and you just feel like you have to get it out? That was me before sitting down to write this post. I had something else planned to write but I kept thinking...sometimes its hard and it just evolved from there. We all heard the sayings, life isn't fair, life is hard and so on. Sometimes life can be hard but we don't experience it for long. There are so many things that I want to do but I know I can't do a million things at once. I can't just pick and go anymore, I'm someone's parent now. There are times I want to but I know things have to be planned out now. I will get to those place I want to go, just have to be patient and plan it out. It seems like we focus so much on what is hard about life that we forget about the easy stuff. We forget sometimes about all the good things that happen and to be grateful for getting through those rough patches. You may not like your living situation but you have a roof over
