August Goal Results and September Goals

I just realized I haven't updated you guys on my monthly goals and we are well into September lol. You can see my previous post HERE! Let's see how I made out last month with my goals.

Try out some of those Tasty recipes floating around on Facebook lol
I don't get to cook very often due to my work schedule. I know you have seen so many of these recipes floating around. My mom did make the Pesto Salmon and it was so good. Here is a picture of it.

Be more prepared for the next day

I am the queen of last minute and running out the house. Lol. I have really stuck to this and it has been so helpful. I pack lunches, iron clothes and make sure everything is packed the night before. All I have to do in the morning is just get everything together and get out the house. I'm not scrambling anymore or running late trying to find something. Sometimes I'm telling m son he can't take all those toys to school lol!

Stick with morning workout

I just have to laugh at this. I did this for about two weeks then chose to sleep in lol. One day I'll get it together lol.

Practice wing liner more often

I have been getting better at this and get so happy when both wings look good lol. My right wing always looks good but struggle with the left most of the time. I know I have to take my time with it and not rush. I can only get better with practice and hoping to be more of a pro lol!  Here is a recent pic of my wing liner.

Here are my goals for September:

Daily Affirmations
Establish Skincare Regimen
Read Dreams Are Built Overnight

So that is it for my monthly goals and results. Did you have monthly goals? How did you make out? Comment below and let me know. Hope you have a great weekend and see you guys Tuesday!!

Sometimes its hard.....

You know when you keep thinking of something and you just feel like you have to get it out? That was me before sitting down to write this post. I had something else planned to write but I kept thinking...sometimes its hard and it just evolved from there. We all heard the sayings, life isn't fair, life is hard and so on. Sometimes life can be hard but we don't experience it for long. There are so many things that I want to do but I know I can't do a million things at once. I can't just pick and go anymore, I'm someone's parent now. There are times I want to but I know things have to be planned out now. I will get to those place I want to go, just have to be patient and plan it out. It seems like we focus so much on what is hard about life that we forget about the easy stuff. We forget sometimes about all the good things that happen and to be grateful for getting through those rough patches. You may not like your living situation but you have a roof over ...

On a personal note....Update on Blogging and Personal Goals

Happy Football Sunday!! I hope everyone has been enjoying the weekend and getting ready to celebrate Thanksgiving!! I can't believe it is this week! I can't wait to spend time with family! I thought about giving an update to the personal and blogging goals I set for myself last year with the Resolute Beauty Blogger series. You can check out my results post  HERE!!  I completed this in May of this year so let's see how I've been doing since then. Blogging Goals 1. Attend A Blogging Event- Since then I have not attended another event. I was so happy when I did find my one event to attend. I have been keeping in contact with those bloggers I met and reading their blogs. I have been finding events but there are scheduling conflicts. I hope to find another one very soon. 2. Set A Blogging Schedule- I am still sticking to my Sunday, Thursday and every other Friday schedule. It has been really working with my hectic schedule I already have. 3. Change Up Current Style-...

No Buy is Officially Over!!

Yay!! I survived 2 months without a single makeup purchase!! I am so proud of myself and knew I had the will power to do it!! It really helped me staying out of Sephora, Ulta and Mac, the usual places that get me in trouble lol! When I went into Target or Walmart, I wouldn't even go near the makeup section. Funny thing is, I haven't run to the store yet to purchase anything on my wish list yet but I will soon. You can see what is on my wish list here.  After organizing my makeup, I realized I have a lot of products that I don't use and need to try out soon. I'm going to try to really shop my stash before running out and buying something new. Maybe next time, I will go for a 3 month no buy!! Have you successfully completed a no buy? What is currently on your wish list? Comment below and let me know!! ~** Drea Notes**~ We went to the beach today and I'm so glad we did! It was such a fun day with the family!! I'm trying to get back to working out lol!  ...
