The Fall weather is starting to come in and I am loving it. I had a pretty busy weekend. I went to the Bad Boy Reunion Tour with my friends and it was one of the best concerts I've been to in a while! We were on our feet all night singing, dancing and I still sound horse lol. My son had a birthday party to go to and I attended a dance class. I have another full weekend coming up and super excited about it! Well today I am bringing a review and possible dupe to a pretty popular product.
I first raved about the Boscia Konjac Cleansing sponge with Bamboo Charcoal in my last favorites video. This sponge has made a huge difference in how my skin looks and feels. This is geared towards those with combination to oily skin and helps with minimizing pores and smoother, brighter skin. The charcoal in the sponge acts like a natural antibacterial agent to help deep clean and detoxify pores. One day I was in Walmart and saw the Evri Konjac sponge and thought about doing a post comparing the two.
This sponge has the same benefits as the Boscia one but one obvious thing is the price. The Boscia one is 15.00 while this one is 3.98! I thought that this sponge wasn't going to compare to the other one because of the price of course and not being familiar with the brand. Let's compare the two.
The Evri sponge is smaller and darker in color. Here is what they look like when completely dry.
Both sponges expand when activated with water and the Boscia one expands more than the Evri. Here is both after being wet.

Boscia is on the left and Evri on the right

Boscia on the left, Evri on the right
As you can see, the Boscia sponge is about twice the size of the Evri sponge. The Boscia sponge is softer and more light weight while the Evri one is more dense. They both do the same thing and give the same results. I have been testing the Evri sponge out for the past couple weeks and I love it. It gave me the same results that I got with the Boscia sponge.
I would honestly say this is a dupe to the Boscia sponge. It may be a little dense but performs the same and is a fraction of the cost if you are on a budget. Have you tried either sponge? What were your thoughts? Comment below and let me know. Have a good week and see you guys Thursday!!
HAVE YOU CHECKED OUT MY SEPTEMBER AND LAST ESSENCE BEAUTY BOX??
~**Drea Notes**~
I finally had the first Pumpkin Spice Latte of the Fall season! It was so good lol!! I still want to try that new one!
I love that Football is back! I just watch it all day Sunday and I'm mad NCIS:LA was moved to Sunday night now!
I saw peoples' snapchat stories from the Bad Boys Concert in Boston and I honestly didn't even know about it. It looked awesome! I would have gone for 112 alone! Its great when you find dupes. $15 vs $4 for the same result? I'd def take the less expensive one anyday. Thanks for sharing Drea!
ReplyDeleteThat concert was everything! I'm glad I got to go lol! Yes, I think I'll be buying the dupe from now on to save money. Thanks for reading Tanya!
