Boscia vs Evri Konjac Sponge- Possible Dupe?

The Fall weather is starting to come in and I am loving it. I had a pretty busy weekend. I went to the Bad Boy Reunion Tour with my friends and it was one of the best concerts I've been to in a while! We were on our feet all night singing, dancing and I still sound horse lol. My son had a birthday party to go to and I attended a dance class. I have another full weekend coming up and super excited about it! Well today I am bringing a review and possible dupe to a pretty popular product.

I first raved about the Boscia Konjac Cleansing sponge with Bamboo Charcoal in my last favorites video. This sponge has made a huge difference in how my skin looks and feels. This is geared towards those with combination to oily skin and helps with minimizing pores and smoother, brighter skin. The charcoal in the sponge acts like a natural antibacterial agent to help deep clean and detoxify pores. One day I was in Walmart and saw the Evri Konjac sponge and thought about doing a post comparing the two.

This sponge has the same benefits as the Boscia one but one obvious thing is the price. The Boscia one is 15.00 while this one is 3.98! I thought that this sponge wasn't going to compare to the other one because of the price of course and not being familiar with the brand. Let's compare the two.

The Evri sponge is smaller and darker in color. Here is what they look like when completely dry.

Boscia is on the left and Evri on the right

Both sponges expand when activated with water and the Boscia one expands more than the Evri. Here is both after being wet.

Boscia on the left, Evri on the right

As you can see, the Boscia sponge is about twice the size of the Evri sponge. The Boscia sponge is softer and more light weight while the Evri one is more dense. They both do the same thing and give the same results. I have been testing the Evri sponge out for the past couple weeks and I love it. It gave me the same results that I got with the Boscia sponge.

I would honestly say this is a dupe to the Boscia sponge. It may be a little dense but performs the same and is a fraction of the cost if you are on a budget. Have you tried either sponge? What were your thoughts? Comment below and let me know. Have a good week and see you guys Thursday!!

  1. I saw peoples' snapchat stories from the Bad Boys Concert in Boston and I honestly didn't even know about it. It looked awesome! I would have gone for 112 alone! Its great when you find dupes. $15 vs $4 for the same result? I'd def take the less expensive one anyday. Thanks for sharing Drea!

Sometimes its hard.....

You know when you keep thinking of something and you just feel like you have to get it out? That was me before sitting down to write this post. I had something else planned to write but I kept thinking...sometimes its hard and it just evolved from there. We all heard the sayings, life isn't fair, life is hard and so on. Sometimes life can be hard but we don't experience it for long. There are so many things that I want to do but I know I can't do a million things at once. I can't just pick and go anymore, I'm someone's parent now. There are times I want to but I know things have to be planned out now. I will get to those place I want to go, just have to be patient and plan it out. It seems like we focus so much on what is hard about life that we forget about the easy stuff. We forget sometimes about all the good things that happen and to be grateful for getting through those rough patches. You may not like your living situation but you have a roof over

On a personal note....Update on Blogging and Personal Goals

Happy Football Sunday!! I hope everyone has been enjoying the weekend and getting ready to celebrate Thanksgiving!! I can't believe it is this week! I can't wait to spend time with family! I thought about giving an update to the personal and blogging goals I set for myself last year with the Resolute Beauty Blogger series. You can check out my results post  HERE!!  I completed this in May of this year so let's see how I've been doing since then. Blogging Goals 1. Attend A Blogging Event- Since then I have not attended another event. I was so happy when I did find my one event to attend. I have been keeping in contact with those bloggers I met and reading their blogs. I have been finding events but there are scheduling conflicts. I hope to find another one very soon. 2. Set A Blogging Schedule- I am still sticking to my Sunday, Thursday and every other Friday schedule. It has been really working with my hectic schedule I already have. 3. Change Up Current Style-

Fall Fashion Trends 2017

I keep saying it but I'm going to speak it into existence, I'm going to New York Fashion Week one of these days. It has always been a dream of mine to go and I always miss when it is or have a conflicting schedule but I'm determined to get there. Speaking of fashion, I wanted to share some of my favorites Fall Fashions trends I've seen floating around.  Plaid Image taken from the web I feel like plaid is one of those classic patterns that is always in style. It may not be in the forefront but you always see it. I love plaid, I don't wear it often but I just love how you can dress it up or down, be casual or dressy with it. I would normally wear a plaid button up shirt but would like to venture into different pieces. Sleepwear  When I first saw people doing this, I wasn't a fan but the more I saw different versions, I started to like it. I like this trend when it is done right. I feel like this can be worn on a night out, something you
