T-Roots Review

Happy Tuesday!! I hope everyone enjoyed their holiday weekend! I had family over for a BBQ and it was fun laughing and watching my son and his cousins play together. I love when I can spend time with family. Today I am reviewing some new hair products I picked up a few months ago. You may have seen these mentioned in my Living No Lye Tour NYC haul I did in August. If you missed it, you can watch that haul RIGHT HERE!! Let's get into my thoughts of these T- Roots products.

As I mentioned, these products and the company are new to me. I discovered them at the Team Natural hair event I went to. I'll admit I am a hair product junkie and want to try just about everything lol. When I went up to the table, I loved how each product was explained to me on how to use them, I could feel and smell each one and just get to know about what I was going to purchase. Also this is a Black Owned Company (so go support) and I'm all about supporting small businesses. I was so excited to try these products out the next time I washed my hair.

5 in 1 Oil Hair and Scalp Treatment

I am all for a good hair oil to help keep my scalp moisturized and for other uses. I used this as a pre treatment before washing my hair and with styling my hair. This oil is very lightweight and did not weigh my hair down. It did not leave that greasy feeling either. I love the scent of this oil too, it is not too strong for those who don't like those products that have a heavy fragrance. This oil has nettle, yarrow, horsetail and sage which are amazing benefits for your hair and scalp. I also love how the packaging a has a nozzle that is perfect for getting to your scalp and not over using the product. I really love this hair oil and how it has worked with my hair.

Creme Brulee Deep Conditioning Masque

Deep conditioning is a huge part of my hair routine and I don't just use any deep conditioner. I look for ones that are going to help retain the moisture in my hair, help repair any damage and leaves my hair feeling soft and manageable. I can add this one to the list of deep conditioners that I love! This masque smells so good and I love the consistency of it. Here is a picture of the product.

It is like a thick, whipped consistency but doesn't feel heavy on your hair. My hair felt super soft and moisturized after I used this masque.

Butter Curls Curl Defining Creme

This was the product I was the most excited to try. I love trying out different styling products to see what results I will get when I style my hair. This can be used for many of the styles I do with my hair such as twist out, braid out and wash n gos. This creme is lightweight on the hair and had that like whipped airy consistency but was a little thick. Here is a picture of the creme.

I tried this styler with a twist out and was in love with the results I got! My hair was so defined, soft and lasted for most of the week. My hair stayed soft and moisturized throughout the week as well. Here is a picture of my hair using the Butter Creme.

Overall, I love these T Roots hair products! They also have body care items as well that I am interested in trying out. These hair products are some of my new favorites and glad I came across this company. You can find T Roots on Etsy and you check them out directly HERE!

So that is it for this hair product review. Which product are you interested in? Comment below and let me know. Enjoy this week and see you Thursday!

Sometimes its hard.....

You know when you keep thinking of something and you just feel like you have to get it out? That was me before sitting down to write this post. I had something else planned to write but I kept thinking...sometimes its hard and it just evolved from there. We all heard the sayings, life isn't fair, life is hard and so on. Sometimes life can be hard but we don't experience it for long. There are so many things that I want to do but I know I can't do a million things at once. I can't just pick and go anymore, I'm someone's parent now. There are times I want to but I know things have to be planned out now. I will get to those place I want to go, just have to be patient and plan it out. It seems like we focus so much on what is hard about life that we forget about the easy stuff. We forget sometimes about all the good things that happen and to be grateful for getting through those rough patches. You may not like your living situation but you have a roof over ...

On a personal note....Update on Blogging and Personal Goals

Happy Football Sunday!! I hope everyone has been enjoying the weekend and getting ready to celebrate Thanksgiving!! I can't believe it is this week! I can't wait to spend time with family! I thought about giving an update to the personal and blogging goals I set for myself last year with the Resolute Beauty Blogger series. You can check out my results post  HERE!!  I completed this in May of this year so let's see how I've been doing since then. Blogging Goals 1. Attend A Blogging Event- Since then I have not attended another event. I was so happy when I did find my one event to attend. I have been keeping in contact with those bloggers I met and reading their blogs. I have been finding events but there are scheduling conflicts. I hope to find another one very soon. 2. Set A Blogging Schedule- I am still sticking to my Sunday, Thursday and every other Friday schedule. It has been really working with my hectic schedule I already have. 3. Change Up Current Style-...

Taking a break.......

On Tuesday I did mention that I had some exciting news to share. I have been working part time for a while and searching like crazy for full time work. I was starting to get a little frustrated but never gave up. Well a full time opportunity came up at my current job and I am now full time status!!! I was just so overjoyed and thankful. I will have a more stable income, I can go back to school and start to make some moves. Then I started to get a little overwhelmed. How was I going to juggle being a full-time working mom, grad student, blogger and balance everything else. It has been a while since I had a full time schedule and based my blogging schedule around my days off during the week. I start my full time hours next week and just need to take a small break away from Naturalle Drea. I really didn't want to because I love this so much but I need to see how to handle everything. I will most likely change my blogging schedule around. Thank you to those who have been encouraging to...
