Valentia Pure Glow Brightening Moisturizer Review*

I am enjoying this last bit of Summer before Fall but not this heatwave lol! I'm happy that Football season is back (Go Eagles) and looking forward Fall time activities. Today I am bringing you another Valentia review powered by BrandBacker. *I was sent this product complementary to review and this is my opinion after using. Let's get into the review of this Pure Glow Brightening Moisturizer!

Powered By BrandBacker*

I have tried a few products by this company and have loved each one of them. I was so excited to give this moisturizer a try. This is a light weight moisturizer that illuminates skin while providing all day hydration. I love how big the container is and you get a lot of product to last you for a while. It also has a pump so you don't dispense too much.

I am very particular about what moisturizer I use. I look for ones that have of course amazing benefits for my skin and to help control my oily T-zone. Also, I look for moisturizers that keep my skin moisturized all day and my skin doesn't feel dry at all. Directly from the Valentia, here are the main ingredients and their benefits:

Botanical Hyaluronic Acid:  This plant based substance penetrated deep into the skin to secure moisture, support skin elasticity, and plump the skin from within.
Kojic Acid:  Known for its skin-lightening properties, this antioxidant helps to naturally control melanin production and prevent dark spots.
Ginseng: A symbol of long-life, strength, and wisdom, Ginseng boosts skin-firming collagen, fights wrinkles, and gives the skin a brighter and more energized look.
Safflower Oil: Rich in linoleic acid, an essential fatty acid that helps to repair the skin’s natural moisture barrier, providing superior protection.
Shea Butter: This wonder nut contains a myriad of regenerative vitamins and essential fatty acids, providing a welcome dose of moisture, hydrating and nourishing the skin.

I knew I was going to love this moisturizer because it contained Shea Butter that helps keep my skin moisturized and soft. I still get a little oily but not as much as I normally do. I love how soft and bright my skin has been looking lately. My skin stays moisturized all day and night. This is another hit from Valentia for me!

Happily Ever Johnson:Tastings and Things

The countdown to this wedding is getting real. April is around the corner and the big day will be here soon! I have starting stressing about the small details and hoping we have everything. We got to do the fun stuff recently, food tasting! I know that was the thing we were both looking forward to. We first had our food tasting at the venue. You were able to bring family members to the tasting and you got to experience the full service during the reception and everything on the menu. I liked that everyone was given a paper with a description of all the menu items so you knew what you were eating and take notes about each dish. I found it helpful to have some other people with us so you got an idea of what the majority of guest would like and different opinions about each dish. We narrowed down what dishes we wanted on our menu and they were all so good!

Us after the tasting

My son was super exciting to do the cake tasting with us! He just wanted lemon cake and wanted us to have lemon…

Spring Fashion Trends

For many years I would say that I'm going to NYFW and then forget when it is lol! One day I'm going to make it there lol! Speaking of fashion, today I'm going to share a few Spring Fashion trends that I will most likely be wearing this season. (Images taken from the web)
Vibrant Stripes
I love wearing bright and bold colors when it gets warmer outside. This trend is super fun and such a statement. You can wear this in the office with a bold striped button up or out on the town with a maxi dress.

One Shoulder
I really think this trend is super cute and flirty. I have seen many versions of the one should trend over the years and this one seems to be my favorite. I would probably wear this with a top or dress.

Slogan T-Shirts
I know these have been around forever and this trend to me will never go out of style. There are so many slogans out there, it is hard to keep up with all of them. I do have a few myself and I love how you can dress them up or down.

Happily Ever Johnson: 3 Months To Go!

*Que screaming and running around like a crazy person*  I can't believe we are three months away from the big day!! It seems like yesterday we just got engaged and started making plans and now it is almost here. I'm not freaking out yet (Lies, I am on the inside lol). I just want to make sure we don't forget anything lol. It seems like it is so easy to forget something when just about everything is going on. I'm getting into the swing of things in my new position and most of my focus seems to be there at the moment but I'm making sure to keep up with everything. I recently met with my coordinators (aka My mom, aunts and cousins) to preview the centerpieces. I'm so thankful for them stepping in and helping with the decor and planning. I'll give you guys a sneak peek at the centerpieces but you won't see the full effect of everything until after the big day.

Of course I drew my inspiration from Pinterest. I have spent so many hours on there and found so m…
