July Goal Results and August Goals

I still can't get over my son turning 5 next week and going to kindergarten. It seems like I just brought him home and just staring at him wondering what to do next. He has just grown so much and looking forward to watching him grow more. Today I am updating you on my July Goals and the ones I have set for August. You can see the previous post HERE!!

Get through a book

Well if you count my textbook, then no I have not lol! I really thought I could get through this one but it couldn't fit in my schedule. I have started reading this daily devotional book that one of friends wrote last week. So far I am doing well with that. I really miss reading, hopefully I can fit in in my crazy schedule lol!!

Stick to schedule for schoolwork and blogging

I am so happy that I made this schedule because it has been super helpful. I feel so much more organized and in charge of my time management. I don't feel so overwhelmed and crazy now lol! I just love that I did this and have been sticking to it!

No meat during the week

This was a big challenge for me but I've eaten no meat for Lent and got through it. There were only a couple days that I forgot but I did so well with this.

August Goals

Try out some of those Tasty recipes floating around on Facebook lol
Be more prepared for the next day

So that is it for my monthly goals. Did you have goals set for last month? How did you make out? Comment below and let me know. See you guys Thursday!

Can't believe my blog is turning 3 at the end of the month!

  1. I wish I could wake up early and work out in the a.m. instead of after work but I am not a morning person lol There are some REALLY good Tasty recipes! I love those!

    1. I know, I get hungry when I see all of them lol! I'm starting out with quick workouts in the morning and working my way to working out more. Thanks for reading Tanya!

Morphe Brush Review

Happy Tuesday!! Just can't believe Christmas is next week!! Did you get all your shopping done? I did for the most part, now it's just putting things together lol!! Well this post is going to be a review on Morphe brushes. I'm sure you have heard the name and seen some of your favorite makeup artist using them. I purchased these at IMATS back in April and have been loving them. I already want to purchase more. So let's get into the reviews.

(M411- Pointed Blender and M200-Deluxe Crease)
It is always important to blend, blend blend your makeup!! I do have a few blending brushes but I wanted to have a few backups when I clean them. I love how soft these brushes are and how well they blend out eye shadows. I mainly use the Pointed Blender(black bristles) for the the outer crease and the deluxe crease(brown bristles) for right above my lid.

I normally don't set my foundation with a powder and wanted to start doing s…

I can't get over the fact that October is here and it still feels like Summer. We had a brief Fall weekend but Summer was like Nope, I'm still hanging around lol! Today I am sharing my September Favorites with a special guest. My son has been wanting to film with me for a while so I decided to let him in on the video. Be prepared to laugh!

You guys may see another appearance from my son, he is so silly and full of energy lol! I think I forgot to mention some favorites but you'll see them next month. What products have you tried? What were your thoughts? See you guys Thursday!

Have you tried the new Starbucks drink? It seems like it is missing something, like it needed to be sweeter or needed some saltiness.
They recently opened a Zara in the mall near me! It is so nice in there, I only purchased one dress.

Fro Butter Emu Oil Review

Well I guess Summer is still trying to hold on lol. I was about to pack away all the Summer clothes but I should leave them out I guess. I'll go through all my Fall wardrobe in the meantime to see what I'll need when the weather gets cooler. Today I am sharing my review on Fro Butter Emu Oil.

I don't know if I told you guys but I am one of Fro Butter's ambassadors for the next 6 months! I was so excited when I got the email about being chosen. You will be seeing post about their products more on here and my Instagram.
A little background on this company before we hop into the review:
Fro Butter is a Black Owned Business started in 2012 by owners Susana Stewart and Caroline Maina. They were in the market for affordable and organic hair products and it all started from there.
I was introduced to this product last year when I received it in my Onyx Box. I really loved the product and so did my husband and son lol. Taken directly from the site, the Emu Oil is designed…
