Brown Box Hair Product Reviews

Hey guys! I'm back with another post in this series. I used these products when I washed my hair last week. This review is going to be on a few products from Nothing But Hair line. There was a sample pack with shampoo, conditioner, hair mask and styling products that I was really interested in trying out. I loved that it didn't contain any parabins, sulfates or other harsh minerals that can be damaging to your hair. Everything that I'm about to review can be found directly on the company website and in Sally's, Walmart and Rite Aid.

Nothing But Clarifying Shampoo and Cleansing Conditioner

After washing out my hair treatment, I started with the shampoo. A little goes a long way with this product. I didn't need too much of the shampoo to cleanse my hair. It lathered up really nice and made my hair feel really clean and soft. It also smelled so amazing. I used the conditioner after the shampoo and there wasn't enough in the sample pack for me. I like to use a lot to help detangle my hair. I liked how thick the conditioner was and did leave my hair feeling soft. The full size of the shampoo is 7.99 and the conditioner is 8.99. I would use this shampoo and conditioner again.

Nothing But Intense Healing Mask

I used this mask as my deep conditioner after cleansing my hair. I loved how thick this mask was and how it made it easy to detangle my hair. It left my hair feeling so soft and manageable. The full size container runs for 10.99. This will be on my list to purchase when I used up my other deep conditioners.

Nothing But Pure Pudding

I honestly thought I wasn't going to have enough product to style my hair but I actually did. I used this pure pudding to help style my hair. I liked the thick consistency of this product and loved how my hair looked after taking down my twistout. It gave my hair great definition and it was a soft hold on my hair. Here is a picture of my hair the day I took my twist out.

And a couple days later

This pure pudding is 7.99 and this will be a repurchase.

Nothing But Curl Sealer

I was very curious about this product. It is supposed to tame frizz and help your style last for a while. I was impressed that my hair did not frizz much at all. I smoothed this over my hair after I twisted it and it really helped keep my hair looking great for the majority of the week. It also helped with keeping my hair moisturized. I think I may start using curl sealers more often. This one runs about 7.99.

So that is it for this review. I loved everything that I used and it worked so well with my hair. I will have an updated hair routine coming soon along with reviews on some new hair products. Have you used these products before? What were your thoughts on them? Comment below and let me know!!

Sometimes its hard.....

You know when you keep thinking of something and you just feel like you have to get it out? That was me before sitting down to write this post. I had something else planned to write but I kept thinking...sometimes its hard and it just evolved from there. We all heard the sayings, life isn't fair, life is hard and so on. Sometimes life can be hard but we don't experience it for long. There are so many things that I want to do but I know I can't do a million things at once. I can't just pick and go anymore, I'm someone's parent now. There are times I want to but I know things have to be planned out now. I will get to those place I want to go, just have to be patient and plan it out. It seems like we focus so much on what is hard about life that we forget about the easy stuff. We forget sometimes about all the good things that happen and to be grateful for getting through those rough patches. You may not like your living situation but you have a roof over

On a personal note....Update on Blogging and Personal Goals

Happy Football Sunday!! I hope everyone has been enjoying the weekend and getting ready to celebrate Thanksgiving!! I can't believe it is this week! I can't wait to spend time with family! I thought about giving an update to the personal and blogging goals I set for myself last year with the Resolute Beauty Blogger series. You can check out my results post  HERE!!  I completed this in May of this year so let's see how I've been doing since then. Blogging Goals 1. Attend A Blogging Event- Since then I have not attended another event. I was so happy when I did find my one event to attend. I have been keeping in contact with those bloggers I met and reading their blogs. I have been finding events but there are scheduling conflicts. I hope to find another one very soon. 2. Set A Blogging Schedule- I am still sticking to my Sunday, Thursday and every other Friday schedule. It has been really working with my hectic schedule I already have. 3. Change Up Current Style-

Fall Fashion Trends 2017

I keep saying it but I'm going to speak it into existence, I'm going to New York Fashion Week one of these days. It has always been a dream of mine to go and I always miss when it is or have a conflicting schedule but I'm determined to get there. Speaking of fashion, I wanted to share some of my favorites Fall Fashions trends I've seen floating around.  Plaid Image taken from the web I feel like plaid is one of those classic patterns that is always in style. It may not be in the forefront but you always see it. I love plaid, I don't wear it often but I just love how you can dress it up or down, be casual or dressy with it. I would normally wear a plaid button up shirt but would like to venture into different pieces. Sleepwear  When I first saw people doing this, I wasn't a fan but the more I saw different versions, I started to like it. I like this trend when it is done right. I feel like this can be worn on a night out, something you
