Vasanti Lip And Cheek Colour Pod Review

Hey guys!! I'm excited to bring you this review of the Vasanti Lip and Cheek Colour Pod. I was chosen by Birchbox and Birchbloggers to receive this beauty product and review it for my blog!! This review is my personal opinion of this product based on using and testing it out. So let's get into this review!!

Taken from the Vasanti website, the lip and cheek colour pod is described as "The multi-tasking Lip and Cheek Color Pod provides both style and substance with its unique applicator and light, creamy formula that melts on contact to blend with skin. The easy-to-use pod glides on lips and cheeks with moisture-infused luminous colour. Plumping and hydrating ingredients such as hyaluronic filling spheres, mango butter and pomegranate sterols create a youthful and natural glow."

Here are a few pictures of the product:

The packaging is so cute!! It looks likes packaging that would be in the future. I love how the colour pod is easy to hold and compact. It would be great to travel with! I chose to try out the color Candlelight which is cool peach color. There are three colors available all together, Strobe Light- a Cranberry Pink and Natural Light- a Nude Pink.

Here is swatch of Candlelight:

I love how sheer the color is. It's great to build with and create your own color. Applying this product was so easy and it went on very smooth! I have not tried a cream blush before and this made it easy for me to apply. The Colour pod gave a nice peachy glow to my cheeks and that color is perfect for Spring (which is taking a while to make an appearance lol!) When using this on my lips, it went on just as smooth. I love that you can wear this alone like a gloss or layer it to make it look like a lipstick or lip pencil. It felt so smooth and soft my lips, does not feel sticky at all, very moisturizing and does last for a while.

I was inspired to create a nice Spring time look using the Lip and Cheek Colour Pod:

Overall, I really love this multi-purpose product and would repurchase it. The price point is $24 and can be found directly on the Vasanti website or on Birchbox. Thank you again Birchbox and Birchbloggers!! Have you tried this colour pod before? What are your thoughts? Please comment below and let me know!!

  1. Birchbox is great, and I love that color on you. You're right, the pod looks futuristic. Packaging is half the appeal to me. Great review.

Sometimes its hard.....

You know when you keep thinking of something and you just feel like you have to get it out? That was me before sitting down to write this post. I had something else planned to write but I kept thinking...sometimes its hard and it just evolved from there. We all heard the sayings, life isn't fair, life is hard and so on. Sometimes life can be hard but we don't experience it for long. There are so many things that I want to do but I know I can't do a million things at once. I can't just pick and go anymore, I'm someone's parent now. There are times I want to but I know things have to be planned out now. I will get to those place I want to go, just have to be patient and plan it out. It seems like we focus so much on what is hard about life that we forget about the easy stuff. We forget sometimes about all the good things that happen and to be grateful for getting through those rough patches. You may not like your living situation but you have a roof over

On a personal note....Update on Blogging and Personal Goals

Happy Football Sunday!! I hope everyone has been enjoying the weekend and getting ready to celebrate Thanksgiving!! I can't believe it is this week! I can't wait to spend time with family! I thought about giving an update to the personal and blogging goals I set for myself last year with the Resolute Beauty Blogger series. You can check out my results post  HERE!!  I completed this in May of this year so let's see how I've been doing since then. Blogging Goals 1. Attend A Blogging Event- Since then I have not attended another event. I was so happy when I did find my one event to attend. I have been keeping in contact with those bloggers I met and reading their blogs. I have been finding events but there are scheduling conflicts. I hope to find another one very soon. 2. Set A Blogging Schedule- I am still sticking to my Sunday, Thursday and every other Friday schedule. It has been really working with my hectic schedule I already have. 3. Change Up Current Style-

Fall Fashion Trends 2017

I keep saying it but I'm going to speak it into existence, I'm going to New York Fashion Week one of these days. It has always been a dream of mine to go and I always miss when it is or have a conflicting schedule but I'm determined to get there. Speaking of fashion, I wanted to share some of my favorites Fall Fashions trends I've seen floating around.  Plaid Image taken from the web I feel like plaid is one of those classic patterns that is always in style. It may not be in the forefront but you always see it. I love plaid, I don't wear it often but I just love how you can dress it up or down, be casual or dressy with it. I would normally wear a plaid button up shirt but would like to venture into different pieces. Sleepwear  When I first saw people doing this, I wasn't a fan but the more I saw different versions, I started to like it. I like this trend when it is done right. I feel like this can be worn on a night out, something you
