Brown Box Hair Product Reviews

Hey guys! I'm back with another review on the hair products that my best friend gave me. She told me she has more products for me to try and review, I'm pretty excited about that. I only have two for this post because I used my normal products and one of them is a product that I purchased. So let's get right into it.

Sunflower Mega Care Shea Butter Oil

This is the product that I purchased myself from my local beauty supply store. I was drawn to this oil because it has a mix of all natural oils that I would normally use in my hair and the price lol! I was 1.99 and you can't beat that. I used this after rinsing out the deep conditioner to help seal in the moisture. This oil smells so amazing and its pretty thick. It didn't leave that greasy feeling and really absorbed into my hair leaving it feeling soft and moisturized. I did purchase another one with the main oil being Jojoba. I would repurchase this oil when I run out of both of them.

NuNAAT Real Me Curl to Coil Natural Curl Activator

I used this to help define my curls with twist out style. This had the consistency of a gel but it went on smooth. I thought it was going to have a nice hold on my hair but it really didn't. My hair is super soft and defined but it's not going to last very long. I would probably use this with a wash and go but not for a style I'm trying to stretch for about a week. This is the full size container and runs about 6.49. You can find it on online and at your local drugstore.

So excited about April's theme, still trying to find a name for it lol!!
Feeling like I need a change of scenery soon.

Sometimes its hard.....

You know when you keep thinking of something and you just feel like you have to get it out? That was me before sitting down to write this post. I had something else planned to write but I kept thinking...sometimes its hard and it just evolved from there. We all heard the sayings, life isn't fair, life is hard and so on. Sometimes life can be hard but we don't experience it for long. There are so many things that I want to do but I know I can't do a million things at once. I can't just pick and go anymore, I'm someone's parent now. There are times I want to but I know things have to be planned out now. I will get to those place I want to go, just have to be patient and plan it out. It seems like we focus so much on what is hard about life that we forget about the easy stuff. We forget sometimes about all the good things that happen and to be grateful for getting through those rough patches. You may not like your living situation but you have a roof over

On a personal note....Update on Blogging and Personal Goals

Happy Football Sunday!! I hope everyone has been enjoying the weekend and getting ready to celebrate Thanksgiving!! I can't believe it is this week! I can't wait to spend time with family! I thought about giving an update to the personal and blogging goals I set for myself last year with the Resolute Beauty Blogger series. You can check out my results post  HERE!!  I completed this in May of this year so let's see how I've been doing since then. Blogging Goals 1. Attend A Blogging Event- Since then I have not attended another event. I was so happy when I did find my one event to attend. I have been keeping in contact with those bloggers I met and reading their blogs. I have been finding events but there are scheduling conflicts. I hope to find another one very soon. 2. Set A Blogging Schedule- I am still sticking to my Sunday, Thursday and every other Friday schedule. It has been really working with my hectic schedule I already have. 3. Change Up Current Style-

Fall Fashion Trends 2017

I keep saying it but I'm going to speak it into existence, I'm going to New York Fashion Week one of these days. It has always been a dream of mine to go and I always miss when it is or have a conflicting schedule but I'm determined to get there. Speaking of fashion, I wanted to share some of my favorites Fall Fashions trends I've seen floating around.  Plaid Image taken from the web I feel like plaid is one of those classic patterns that is always in style. It may not be in the forefront but you always see it. I love plaid, I don't wear it often but I just love how you can dress it up or down, be casual or dressy with it. I would normally wear a plaid button up shirt but would like to venture into different pieces. Sleepwear  When I first saw people doing this, I wasn't a fan but the more I saw different versions, I started to like it. I like this trend when it is done right. I feel like this can be worn on a night out, something you
