My Lip Products

I am back with the last installment of January's theme, All About Makeup. This post is going to be on the many, many lip products that I have. I didn't realize I had so many lipsticks, glosses, lip pencils and so on.

MAC

I believe I have the most lip products from them which is not surprising, lol. I just love this company and the products they make. I couldn't locate Ruby Woo and I didn't include Pleasure Bomb from the Rihanna collection.

Lipsticks (L to R) Faux, Cherish, Girl About Town, Viva Glam I, Del Rio, Hang Up, Plant A Kiss, Roam Free, Rebel, O and Polished Lip

Lip Glosses (L to R) Fashion Scoop, Spring Bean, Sexy Sweet, Star Nova, Fullfilled, Truth and Light, Cultured, Beaux and Boy Bait

Sephora

I only have lip glosses from them and I love them. I'm not a fan of sticky and thick glosses and these are not at all. I believe these are definitely worth the price!

(L to R) Irish Coffee, Fresh Peach, Hippie Pink, Brilliant Burgundy, Vivid Violet and Tasty Coffee

NYX

As you all know, this is one of my new favorite cosmetic brands. I just the wonderful quality that you get for the price! I wanted to try out a matte lipstick and these ones by NYX are pretty good. My lips don't get so dry and it stays on for a good portion of the day. I only purchased two glosses and I like both of them. They are both matte also.

Lipsticks (L to R) Merlot, Natural, Angel and Euro Trash

Lip Gloss ( L to R) Buttery Nude and Abu Dhabi

Wet N Wild

I'm started to branch out and try more drugstore brands and I have a fan of a few companies. I like Wet N Wild because of how affordable they are and how many colors they have to offer. I haven't used some of these yet but I like the formula and how smooth they are.

(L to R) Mocha-licious, Light Beige Frost, Taj Mauve-hal, Dark Pink Frost, Copper Dust, Breeze and Mauve Outta Here

NYC

I have a lot of eye products by them and decided to try out some of the lipsticks. Its been hard trying to track down some of the colors that I wanted to try but these are pretty good, moisturizing lipsticks. I want to try glosses next.

(L to R)  Caramel, Snowcone, Flirty and Plum Rum

Ulta

I'm always in this store for everything else and never tried out the store brand. I like the formula of both the lipsticks and lip pencils. The lipsticks don't show up a pigmented as I thought they would but are great to build color with. I don't remember the names of the lipsticks and think the names were on the outside label.

( L to R) 210, 215, 217, Vintage and Date Night

Cover Girl

I think I just got on this buying a whole bunch of drugstore products to try them out. I really wasn't open to a lot because all I knew about was MAC. I'm glad I stepped out and tried other brands. I only have a few lipsticks and the one Smoochie lip balm but I like Cover Girl products.

(L to R) Enamor, Euphoria, Entwined and #Luv U

Revlon

I purchased a lot of these products on clearance at Target and I really like this brand. I think I've only tried lip and nail products by them but would like to try more at some point in the future.

(L to R) Berry Haute, Red Velvet, Super Natural, Sunset Peach, Darling Cherie, Coy, Shamless

Maybelline

Another drugstore brand that I have picked up in the clearance section of Target and other stores. I haven't used a lot of these that I have, I was just drawn to the colors and price of course.

( L to R) Blissful Berry, Lasting Lilac, Berry Persistent, Raspberry Reflections

L'oreal

I purchased the Le Matte and Le Lacque at Target and fell in love with them. Little did I know, they were a limited edition product and I was sad. I always love the limited edition products. Hopefully I can find something similar to them soon.

( L to R) Soft Brown, Really Rose, Matte-it of Fact, Lacque-onic

So that concludes my lip product collection. What are your favorite lipsticks, lip glosses, stains or pencils? Which would be great to try next? Comment and let me know!!

~ ** Drea Notes **~

It took me two days to complete this post, started it late last night and then my son woke up and I was typing with one hand and had my other around him. I got so tired, I just left it to finish today

I know I have other products but it got so overwhelming and I will post those later

It's SuperBowl Sunday! Going to a party later today, can't wait for good food and football!

  1. wow you have a TON of lip products! I have a lot of MAC lipsticks and glosses. I have only paid for a few of the lipsticks though because I usually get them free because of their recycling program. I am loving the NYX butter glosses and Revlon Butter Lipsticks right now. Also, Nyx Butter Glosses. Have you tried those? If not, you should def give them a try! Let me know if you need color recommendations!

Sometimes its hard.....

You know when you keep thinking of something and you just feel like you have to get it out? That was me before sitting down to write this post. I had something else planned to write but I kept thinking...sometimes its hard and it just evolved from there. We all heard the sayings, life isn't fair, life is hard and so on. Sometimes life can be hard but we don't experience it for long. There are so many things that I want to do but I know I can't do a million things at once. I can't just pick and go anymore, I'm someone's parent now. There are times I want to but I know things have to be planned out now. I will get to those place I want to go, just have to be patient and plan it out. It seems like we focus so much on what is hard about life that we forget about the easy stuff. We forget sometimes about all the good things that happen and to be grateful for getting through those rough patches. You may not like your living situation but you have a roof over ...

On a personal note....Update on Blogging and Personal Goals

Happy Football Sunday!! I hope everyone has been enjoying the weekend and getting ready to celebrate Thanksgiving!! I can't believe it is this week! I can't wait to spend time with family! I thought about giving an update to the personal and blogging goals I set for myself last year with the Resolute Beauty Blogger series. You can check out my results post  HERE!!  I completed this in May of this year so let's see how I've been doing since then. Blogging Goals 1. Attend A Blogging Event- Since then I have not attended another event. I was so happy when I did find my one event to attend. I have been keeping in contact with those bloggers I met and reading their blogs. I have been finding events but there are scheduling conflicts. I hope to find another one very soon. 2. Set A Blogging Schedule- I am still sticking to my Sunday, Thursday and every other Friday schedule. It has been really working with my hectic schedule I already have. 3. Change Up Current Style-...

Taking a break.......

On Tuesday I did mention that I had some exciting news to share. I have been working part time for a while and searching like crazy for full time work. I was starting to get a little frustrated but never gave up. Well a full time opportunity came up at my current job and I am now full time status!!! I was just so overjoyed and thankful. I will have a more stable income, I can go back to school and start to make some moves. Then I started to get a little overwhelmed. How was I going to juggle being a full-time working mom, grad student, blogger and balance everything else. It has been a while since I had a full time schedule and based my blogging schedule around my days off during the week. I start my full time hours next week and just need to take a small break away from Naturalle Drea. I really didn't want to because I love this so much but I need to see how to handle everything. I will most likely change my blogging schedule around. Thank you to those who have been encouraging to...
