Today was such an amazing day!! My friends and I spent the day in NYC!! First we stopped at Julie G.'s Meet and Greet at Rite Aid. She just launched her Holiday Nail Polish collection for this year and they are amazing!! There are six textured polishes and all the colors are so bright, pretty and just perfect for this time of year!! She was so nice and down to earth :). She really took the time to talk to everyone and was just a pleasure to be around. My friends and I even sent a video message to BeatFace Honey for Julie to come visit the Philly/South Jersey area and she re posted the video on her Instagram!!! Julie G. was painting nails for those who wanted to try the new polishes and I love my nails and even told her about my blog!!! It was just a wonderful experience and I did pick up some of the polishes and eve got a goodie bag which will be up later. After the meet and greet, we headed over to The Makeup Holiday Pop Up Show. It was our first time there and I did enjoy it. It was a pretty small to medium sized event and I got a lot of great stuff (I'm doing a video for my haul from the show)!! We really enjoyed ourselves and can't wait for IMATS in April!!
You know when you keep thinking of something and you just feel like you have to get it out? That was me before sitting down to write this post. I had something else planned to write but I kept thinking...sometimes its hard and it just evolved from there. We all heard the sayings, life isn't fair, life is hard and so on. Sometimes life can be hard but we don't experience it for long. There are so many things that I want to do but I know I can't do a million things at once. I can't just pick and go anymore, I'm someone's parent now. There are times I want to but I know things have to be planned out now. I will get to those place I want to go, just have to be patient and plan it out. It seems like we focus so much on what is hard about life that we forget about the easy stuff. We forget sometimes about all the good things that happen and to be grateful for getting through those rough patches. You may not like your living situation but you have a roof over ...
