Valentia Night Revive Retinol Serum Review*

I am loving this Fall weather! Sometimes I wish we could skip over Winter and go straight to Spring lol. Today I am bringing you another review powered by BrandBacker. As you know I have been loving every Valentia skin care product that I've tried so far so let's see if I love this product too. *This review is my opinion after testing this product.

I have never tried any products with retinol before so I was a little scared at first. I was not sure how my skin was going to react so I looked up what retinol is and how it would benefit my skin. Here are the main benefits and ingredients of this serum directly from the Valentia site:

Retinol (Vitamin A): This clinically proven antioxidant is a triple threat! It works at the cellular level to stop wrinkles from forming, manages acne breakouts, and even out skin discoloration. Retinol helps reverse the clock, for more youth looking and acting skin.
Vitamin C: An essential nutrient that boosts Retinol’s protective effects, guarding skin against nasty free radicals and environmental damage to prevent premature aging.
Vitamin E: Specifically chosen for its superior moisture protection. Vitamin E floods the skin hydration, diminishing the drying effects of Retinol.
Squalane: Derived for pure olive oil, this nutrient-rich ingredient softens and conditions delicate skin. It further assists in mitigating the dryness caused by Retinol while reducing the appearance of fine lines.

Short Term
- Conditions & nourishes skin
- Manages breakouts
- More luminous complexion

Long Term
- Evens skin discoloration
- Stimulates collagen production
- Diminishes fine lines & wrinkles

This serum was something that I needed with my skincare routine. I try to use products with anti-aging benefits to keep me looking so young lol. I've been using this serum for about the past two weeks with my night time routine. I will say my skin looks so refreshed and clear the next morning. My skin likes this product and retinol apparently lol!  I love the packing and how it comes with a dropper so you don't use too much.

I use this serum every other night because I don't break out that much and it recommended to use only every 2-3 days until your skin adjusts. This is another hit from the Valentia line!

You can find more about this product and other Valentia products on AMAZON , directly on VALENTIA, and on their social media pages, INSTAGRAM and FACEBOOK.

Sometimes its hard.....

You know when you keep thinking of something and you just feel like you have to get it out? That was me before sitting down to write this post. I had something else planned to write but I kept thinking...sometimes its hard and it just evolved from there. We all heard the sayings, life isn't fair, life is hard and so on. Sometimes life can be hard but we don't experience it for long. There are so many things that I want to do but I know I can't do a million things at once. I can't just pick and go anymore, I'm someone's parent now. There are times I want to but I know things have to be planned out now. I will get to those place I want to go, just have to be patient and plan it out. It seems like we focus so much on what is hard about life that we forget about the easy stuff. We forget sometimes about all the good things that happen and to be grateful for getting through those rough patches. You may not like your living situation but you have a roof over

On a personal note....Update on Blogging and Personal Goals

Happy Football Sunday!! I hope everyone has been enjoying the weekend and getting ready to celebrate Thanksgiving!! I can't believe it is this week! I can't wait to spend time with family! I thought about giving an update to the personal and blogging goals I set for myself last year with the Resolute Beauty Blogger series. You can check out my results post  HERE!!  I completed this in May of this year so let's see how I've been doing since then. Blogging Goals 1. Attend A Blogging Event- Since then I have not attended another event. I was so happy when I did find my one event to attend. I have been keeping in contact with those bloggers I met and reading their blogs. I have been finding events but there are scheduling conflicts. I hope to find another one very soon. 2. Set A Blogging Schedule- I am still sticking to my Sunday, Thursday and every other Friday schedule. It has been really working with my hectic schedule I already have. 3. Change Up Current Style-

Fall Fashion Trends 2017

I keep saying it but I'm going to speak it into existence, I'm going to New York Fashion Week one of these days. It has always been a dream of mine to go and I always miss when it is or have a conflicting schedule but I'm determined to get there. Speaking of fashion, I wanted to share some of my favorites Fall Fashions trends I've seen floating around.  Plaid Image taken from the web I feel like plaid is one of those classic patterns that is always in style. It may not be in the forefront but you always see it. I love plaid, I don't wear it often but I just love how you can dress it up or down, be casual or dressy with it. I would normally wear a plaid button up shirt but would like to venture into different pieces. Sleepwear  When I first saw people doing this, I wasn't a fan but the more I saw different versions, I started to like it. I like this trend when it is done right. I feel like this can be worn on a night out, something you
