On a personal note.....Thankful

Happy Tuesday!! Sorry there was no post on Sunday. I was a bit under the weather and enjoying family time. I just wanted to take the time to say what I am thankful for this year. Can't believe Thanksgiving is on Thursday and it will be 2015 before we know it. So much has gone on in my life in this past year that has made me want to throw in the towel and give up, made me feel so defeated and broken. There have been things that have made me so overjoyed and in love with life. Life has just been a rollercoaster and I'm proud of myself for still standing and not backing down. I am so thankful for learning to be patient with life and knowing things are not on my time. Things do happen for a reason and sometimes it's hard to question it. You just have to know that there is always a rainbow at the end of the storm. I'm so thankful for my son who is my motivation to keep going and not give up. I look at him and know that he depends on me and needs me to be there for him. I push to make things better for him. I'm thankful for the man in my life who is always supportive and behind me all the time. Always there when I need him and just an amazing father. I'm thankful for family who loves you not matter what mistakes you make, always there to support you and be your friend when you don't feel like you have them. I'm just so thankful for what I do have in life. There are so many things I wish I could have but it's amazing to appreciate what you already have in life. There are people out there who don't have a place to sleep, food to eat, limited clothes and shoes to wear. We often take so much for granted in life, we should learn to appreciate the little things we do have and be thankful. I'm just thankful for a new outlook on life and just taking the time to smell the flowers and feel the breeze.

I hope everyone enjoys time with family and has a great Thanksgiving. There will be no post on Friday, I want to enjoy time with family.

~**Drea Notes**~

My heart has been feeling a little heavy today, just want to pray for those families who have lost loved ones to senseless acts of violence. The world is not a safe place and I'm fearful for our children. Instead of getting angry and doing nothing, stand up and do something. The change you want starts in you. Let's all strive to be more positive and not be so quick to judge others. Let's stand together and help each other instead of tearing each other down. I just hope things in this country get better at some point.

Sometimes its hard.....

You know when you keep thinking of something and you just feel like you have to get it out? That was me before sitting down to write this post. I had something else planned to write but I kept thinking...sometimes its hard and it just evolved from there. We all heard the sayings, life isn't fair, life is hard and so on. Sometimes life can be hard but we don't experience it for long. There are so many things that I want to do but I know I can't do a million things at once. I can't just pick and go anymore, I'm someone's parent now. There are times I want to but I know things have to be planned out now. I will get to those place I want to go, just have to be patient and plan it out. It seems like we focus so much on what is hard about life that we forget about the easy stuff. We forget sometimes about all the good things that happen and to be grateful for getting through those rough patches. You may not like your living situation but you have a roof over

Make Beauty Review*

Happy Friday beauty lovers! I hope you have been enjoying Winter again lol! I hope Mother Nature gets it together soon lol. Today I am bringing you another review powered by BrandBacker! *I was sent these products for testing purposes and this is my opinion after using. Let's get into the reviews! *Powered By BrandBacker* I was pretty excited when I was picked for this campaign. I have tried a Make Beauty eyeshadow before and loved it. Honestly, I was expecting the samples to be a little bigger. I was a little disappointed in the lipstick sample, it was hard to use. It kept breaking when I was trying to apply it. Make Beauty is a very new company to me that I was introduced to through Birchbox.  They have just about everything from eyeshadows to contour kits. They also have a line for skincare as well. Alabaster Eyeshadow This shadow on the Make Beauty site is described as a soft eggshell with peach undertones. This shadow is a matte and can be used as a brow
