New Skincare Products and Reviews

Happy Tuesday, almost Wednesday lol!! It was busy day for me. My son was off from school so we went to go vote and did food shopping and I was trying to cook and clean up while he was making a mess with his toys lol!! I finally got a chance to be by myself and get this post up. This is going to be on some skincare products that I have picked up in the past month or two and have been using for a while. So let's get into the reviews!!

L'Oreal Paris Active Daily Moisturizer with SPF 15

I was in Walmart and it was hard trying to find a moisturizer to try out. There were so many to choose from and it took me a while. I picked this one up because of the SPF and the price of it too lol. With the colder months ahead, I need a heavier moisturizer for my face because it gets so dry. This has been working very well. My skin is so soft, it stays moisturized all day and its not heavy on my skin. The only thing about it is that my T-Zone gets a bit oily but overall, I love my new moisturizer.

Equate Beauty Reviving Anti Wrinkle And Firming Eye Cream

I also picked this up at Walmart when I purchased the moisturizer. I didn't realize how expensive eye creams were!!! I know you can't put a price on your skincare but sheesh, there is a limit with me lol!! I was looking at eye creams forever too and I was going to pick up on my Olay but I saw this and decided to give it a try. This eye cream is supposed to be comparable to a L'Oreal eye cream ( threw the box out so I don't remember the exact name). I'm not sure if I'm seeing results but I notice a little difference in how my eye area looks. I guess it takes a while to really see results. I do like using this eye cream and will update if I see any improvements.

Aveeno Positively Radiant Daily Cleansing Pads

I just ran out of the facial cleanser I was using and was looking for something else to try. I saw this at Target and there was a sale going on for the skincare for buy one,get one half off. I purchased this and the makeup remover wipes. I will do a review on those as soon as I start using them. I am in love with these cleansing pads. They are two sided with a cleansing side and a gentle exfoliating side. I'm amazed at the dirt that is still on my face that I missed the night before. I think I need to change my nightly cleanser now that I will talk about next. Here is what the pads looks like.

I just love them, they are my new favorite. I may start using them at night or invest in a cleansing brush.

Clean and Clear Night Relaxing Deep Cleansing Face Wash

I mentioned this in my updated skincare regimen that you can find HERE. I was interesting in changing up my regimen and start using a nightly cleanser. I really want to get my hands on a Clarisonic soon because I've heard good things about them from friends and reviews online. This seemed to be working until I discovered the dirt I've been missing the next morning. It does have a gentle, soothing scent that helps wind you down and relax you. I guess I'll keep using this until its empty or find something else to use.

So that is it for my new skincare products. Have you tried any of these? What were your thoughts? Comment below and let me know!! Hope you enjoy the rest of the week and see you guys Friday!!

~**Drea Notes**~

Can you believe November is here already? Time for one of my favorite holidays, Thanksgiving!!

I had to get a new phone over the weekend, my old one was doing some crazy things and it was time for a new one. I love my new LG G3.

So funny that Starbucks already had the Christmas drinks out on November 1.

  1. I know!! Eye creams are so expensive....but if you can find one that works really well for you, then it is totally worth it. Do use the clean and clear cleansers on occasion, however I have not seen this one. Is it new?

    1. I think this Clean and Clear cleanser is pretty new. This is my first time using a product by them. Hopefully I find a good eye cream soon. Thanks for reading Keisha!

  2. The Clean and Clear Night Relaxing Deep Cleansing Face Wash interests me. The relaxing part sounds great but if it doesn't get all your makeup or dirt off your face then its not worth it.

    1. Yea, it sucks that it doesn't get all the dirt but I thought it was a pretty good cleanser. Thanks for reading Tanya!

Sometimes its hard.....

You know when you keep thinking of something and you just feel like you have to get it out? That was me before sitting down to write this post. I had something else planned to write but I kept thinking...sometimes its hard and it just evolved from there. We all heard the sayings, life isn't fair, life is hard and so on. Sometimes life can be hard but we don't experience it for long. There are so many things that I want to do but I know I can't do a million things at once. I can't just pick and go anymore, I'm someone's parent now. There are times I want to but I know things have to be planned out now. I will get to those place I want to go, just have to be patient and plan it out. It seems like we focus so much on what is hard about life that we forget about the easy stuff. We forget sometimes about all the good things that happen and to be grateful for getting through those rough patches. You may not like your living situation but you have a roof over ...

On a personal note....Update on Blogging and Personal Goals

Happy Football Sunday!! I hope everyone has been enjoying the weekend and getting ready to celebrate Thanksgiving!! I can't believe it is this week! I can't wait to spend time with family! I thought about giving an update to the personal and blogging goals I set for myself last year with the Resolute Beauty Blogger series. You can check out my results post  HERE!!  I completed this in May of this year so let's see how I've been doing since then. Blogging Goals 1. Attend A Blogging Event- Since then I have not attended another event. I was so happy when I did find my one event to attend. I have been keeping in contact with those bloggers I met and reading their blogs. I have been finding events but there are scheduling conflicts. I hope to find another one very soon. 2. Set A Blogging Schedule- I am still sticking to my Sunday, Thursday and every other Friday schedule. It has been really working with my hectic schedule I already have. 3. Change Up Current Style-...

Taking a break.......

On Tuesday I did mention that I had some exciting news to share. I have been working part time for a while and searching like crazy for full time work. I was starting to get a little frustrated but never gave up. Well a full time opportunity came up at my current job and I am now full time status!!! I was just so overjoyed and thankful. I will have a more stable income, I can go back to school and start to make some moves. Then I started to get a little overwhelmed. How was I going to juggle being a full-time working mom, grad student, blogger and balance everything else. It has been a while since I had a full time schedule and based my blogging schedule around my days off during the week. I start my full time hours next week and just need to take a small break away from Naturalle Drea. I really didn't want to because I love this so much but I need to see how to handle everything. I will most likely change my blogging schedule around. Thank you to those who have been encouraging to...
