Shopping My Beauty Samples

Happy Friday!! It has really been getting cold!! I just want to stay inside with some warm coffee or tea and food lol!! Today's post is going to be from Shopping My Beauty Samples series. Let's get into what I have been using lately.

Ruffian Nail Polish in Ruffian Naked

Box it came from: Birchbox
Full Size or Sample Size: Full Size
Price Point: 10.00
Review: I always love when I get nail polish in my boxes. I get to try new brands that I haven't heard of before. I love this nail polish!! Its the perfect nude color for interviews, when you don't feel like wearing color or just for a clean look. The formula is so creamy, you just need two coats. It lasts for a few days and just an overall great polish. I have received another polish by Ruffian that I need to try soon. I would repurchase from this line.

Harvey Prince Ageless Body Cream

Box it came from: Birchbox
Full Size or Sample Size: Sample Size
Price Point: 22.00
Review: It was great to get something else by Harvey Prince. I've tried a lot of their perfumes and loved them. I loved the fragrance of this body cream. My skin stayed pretty moisturized all day and felt very soft. I loved the creamy consistency of this body cream. Not sure I would pay 22.00 for the full sized but I enjoyed using it.

Tocca Hand Cream

Box it came from: Birchbox
Full Size or Sample Size: Sample Size
Price Point: 10.00
Review:  I have been really loving this hand cream. It has such a nice, fresh scent of lemons and green tea. I really don't much of the green tea but the lemon is pretty subtle. It has a pretty thick consistency and kept my hands soft and moisturized during the day. I think I would repurchase the full size of this.

Viva La Juicy Gold Corture Perfume

Box it came from: Birchbox
Full Size or Sample Size: Sample Size
Price Point: 92.00
Review: As you know, I don't mind getting the perfume samples in my boxes. I absolutely love this perfume!! Its a great everyday perfume that is not too strong or overpowering. It has notes of wild berries, vanilla, golden amber and melted caramel. I just love this scent!! Why does the full size have to cost so much??? I would love to invest in the full size sometime in the future, unless someone gets it for Christmas for me!!!

Antica Farmacista Body Wash

Box it came from: Birchbox
Full Size or Sample Size: Sample Size
Price Point: 25.00
Review: I thought this body wash was just okay. I did love the fresh scent it had. The scent of this body wash is Bergamot and Ocean Aria but it smelled like lemons to me. It was okay with lathering and left my skin feeling pretty good after using. I don't think I would repurchase.

Nyakio Facial and Body Products

Box it came from: Birchbox
Full Size or Sample Size: Sample Size

There were three products in this package, I'm going to talk about each of them separately.

Nyakio Face Polish- 34.00

I forgot to take a picture of the sample before I used it. This was a pretty interesting scrub to use. I love that you didn't feel the grit from the coffee and it was very creamy and smooth. This would be a great scrub for those who don't like the feeling of scrubs. I was very surprised of how soft and smooth my face was after using this face polish. I'm not sure if I would spend 34.00 dollars but I really loved using this.

Nyakio Body Polish- 55.00

I was a little dissapointed in the amount of product in this sample. I was only able to use this on half my body. From what I did use, I really loved it. It has a very strong scent that didn't bother me too much. I love seeing the pieces of coffee in the scrub and it wasn't too rough on my skin. My skin was very smooth and soft after using. I can't bring myself to pay that much for the full size, that is a bit much!!

Nyakio Face Oil- 49.00

I used this oil at night after cleansing my face. You only need two drops for you whole face and it absorbed very well into the skin. My face was still moisturized and hydrated the next morning. This oil has a very strong scent that was okay but it went away after a while. Not too sure if I would repurchase this but I did enjoy using it.

So that is it for Shopping My Beauty Samples. Have you tried any of this products? What were your thoughts? Comment below and let me know!! Hope you enjoy the weekend and see you guys Sunday!!

Sometimes its hard.....

You know when you keep thinking of something and you just feel like you have to get it out? That was me before sitting down to write this post. I had something else planned to write but I kept thinking...sometimes its hard and it just evolved from there. We all heard the sayings, life isn't fair, life is hard and so on. Sometimes life can be hard but we don't experience it for long. There are so many things that I want to do but I know I can't do a million things at once. I can't just pick and go anymore, I'm someone's parent now. There are times I want to but I know things have to be planned out now. I will get to those place I want to go, just have to be patient and plan it out. It seems like we focus so much on what is hard about life that we forget about the easy stuff. We forget sometimes about all the good things that happen and to be grateful for getting through those rough patches. You may not like your living situation but you have a roof over ...

On a personal note....Update on Blogging and Personal Goals

Happy Football Sunday!! I hope everyone has been enjoying the weekend and getting ready to celebrate Thanksgiving!! I can't believe it is this week! I can't wait to spend time with family! I thought about giving an update to the personal and blogging goals I set for myself last year with the Resolute Beauty Blogger series. You can check out my results post  HERE!!  I completed this in May of this year so let's see how I've been doing since then. Blogging Goals 1. Attend A Blogging Event- Since then I have not attended another event. I was so happy when I did find my one event to attend. I have been keeping in contact with those bloggers I met and reading their blogs. I have been finding events but there are scheduling conflicts. I hope to find another one very soon. 2. Set A Blogging Schedule- I am still sticking to my Sunday, Thursday and every other Friday schedule. It has been really working with my hectic schedule I already have. 3. Change Up Current Style-...

Taking a break.......

On Tuesday I did mention that I had some exciting news to share. I have been working part time for a while and searching like crazy for full time work. I was starting to get a little frustrated but never gave up. Well a full time opportunity came up at my current job and I am now full time status!!! I was just so overjoyed and thankful. I will have a more stable income, I can go back to school and start to make some moves. Then I started to get a little overwhelmed. How was I going to juggle being a full-time working mom, grad student, blogger and balance everything else. It has been a while since I had a full time schedule and based my blogging schedule around my days off during the week. I start my full time hours next week and just need to take a small break away from Naturalle Drea. I really didn't want to because I love this so much but I need to see how to handle everything. I will most likely change my blogging schedule around. Thank you to those who have been encouraging to...
