Updated Skincare Regimen- July 2014

Hey guys!! Back in January I updated everyone on what I was currently using on my skin and you can see that post HERE! Since then I have changed my skincare routine and just wanted to give an update.

Daytime

Cleanser- L'Oreal Ideal Clean Foaming Gel Cleanser- This bottle is almost empty but I have been loving this cleanser in the morning. I may try something else since its so hot now. I'm open to suggestions!!

Toner- Apple Cider Vinegar- Still using this as a toner. I just love it and I also use this in my hair.

Eye Cream- Yes To Cucumbers Soothing Eye Gel- I'm going to use this until I'm out. It does help with puffiness in the mornings but I need to be using something for anti-aging soon.

Sunscreen- L'Oreal Sublime Sun- I am on my second bottle of this and really love it. Its not too greasy on my face and doesn't make it oily.

Moisturizer- Korres Pomegranate Balancing Cream-Gel Moisturizer- I purchased this a few months ago and just love it for the Spring and Summer. The only thing is I have to watch how much I apply due to being more oily in my T-Zone this time of the year!

Nighttime

Now my nighttime routine has changed a bit. I wanted to try something new. I was using Coconut Oil just as my cleanser and makeup remover.

Makeup Remover- Alcone Make-Off- I purchased this at IMATS this past April and so far I have been liking them. I will do a full review on these later on.

Cleanser- Clean and Clear Night Relaxing Deep Cleansing Face Wash- This is a new product that I saw in Target and it was only 5-6 dollars. So far so good with this cleanser. A full review will come on this product soon too.

Toner- Sephora Triple Action Cleansing Water- This bottle is just about empty and I'm going to try out the cleansing water that I got in Birchbox last month.

Eye Cream- Yes To Cucumbers Soothing Eye Gel- I'm still on the search for a nightly eye cream, I'm open to suggestions.

Moisturizer- Tarte Pure Maracuja Oil- I'm getting sad that this bottle is about gone! I really love this facial oil and I may try some other ones while I save up to buy the full size container!

Masks, Scrubs and Lip Products

I try to exfoliate my face twice a week and use a mask once a week. Sometimes I forget to do so and I love having multi-purpose products!!

When I do forget to exfoliate or use a mask, I reach for Serious Skincare Glycolic Gommage Extreme Renewal Exfoliating Facial. (Boy that was a mouth full lol). It is a mask and exfoliate in one. This really gives my skin a nice glow while getting the dead skin cell off and leaving it so soft and smooth.

When I do remember to exfoliate, I have been using Derma-E Microdermabrasion Scrub that I got in one of my Ipsy bags. I love the results I get with this scrub. A review will be coming on this.

For my mask, I'm still using Juice Beauty Green Apple Peel. Its still a favorite of mine.

I have added a lip care routine to my beauty regimen. I made this DIY Lip Scrub that I haven't blogged about yet but will soon. After I exfoliate my lips, I apply Josie Maran Argan Lip Treatment. I do this lip treatment for day and night. It really has helped my lips look and feel smooth and stay moisturized.

So that is it for my updated skincare routine. I will probably do another one once Fall or Winter hits. What are your favorite skincare products? Comment below and let me know!!

~** Drea Notes**~

So Sunday, my boyfriend and I had a kid-free day. We went to brunch, saw Think Like A Man Too (which was so good and  funny! Go see it if you haven't yet) and hung out.

An updated Hair Routine Video is in the works along with some overdue reviews lol!!

  1. Great routine! I use coconut oil to remove my makeup when I'm wearing heavy water proof makeup...love it! I normally make my own lip scrubs also but I'm dying to try the Josie Maran. I love the packaging.

Sometimes its hard.....

You know when you keep thinking of something and you just feel like you have to get it out? That was me before sitting down to write this post. I had something else planned to write but I kept thinking...sometimes its hard and it just evolved from there. We all heard the sayings, life isn't fair, life is hard and so on. Sometimes life can be hard but we don't experience it for long. There are so many things that I want to do but I know I can't do a million things at once. I can't just pick and go anymore, I'm someone's parent now. There are times I want to but I know things have to be planned out now. I will get to those place I want to go, just have to be patient and plan it out. It seems like we focus so much on what is hard about life that we forget about the easy stuff. We forget sometimes about all the good things that happen and to be grateful for getting through those rough patches. You may not like your living situation but you have a roof over ...

On a personal note....Update on Blogging and Personal Goals

Happy Football Sunday!! I hope everyone has been enjoying the weekend and getting ready to celebrate Thanksgiving!! I can't believe it is this week! I can't wait to spend time with family! I thought about giving an update to the personal and blogging goals I set for myself last year with the Resolute Beauty Blogger series. You can check out my results post  HERE!!  I completed this in May of this year so let's see how I've been doing since then. Blogging Goals 1. Attend A Blogging Event- Since then I have not attended another event. I was so happy when I did find my one event to attend. I have been keeping in contact with those bloggers I met and reading their blogs. I have been finding events but there are scheduling conflicts. I hope to find another one very soon. 2. Set A Blogging Schedule- I am still sticking to my Sunday, Thursday and every other Friday schedule. It has been really working with my hectic schedule I already have. 3. Change Up Current Style-...

Taking a break.......

On Tuesday I did mention that I had some exciting news to share. I have been working part time for a while and searching like crazy for full time work. I was starting to get a little frustrated but never gave up. Well a full time opportunity came up at my current job and I am now full time status!!! I was just so overjoyed and thankful. I will have a more stable income, I can go back to school and start to make some moves. Then I started to get a little overwhelmed. How was I going to juggle being a full-time working mom, grad student, blogger and balance everything else. It has been a while since I had a full time schedule and based my blogging schedule around my days off during the week. I start my full time hours next week and just need to take a small break away from Naturalle Drea. I really didn't want to because I love this so much but I need to see how to handle everything. I will most likely change my blogging schedule around. Thank you to those who have been encouraging to...
