Review on Not Your Mother's Beach Babe Texturizing Shampoo and Conditioner #NYMBeachBabe

It's double dose Tuesday, lol!! This review is going to be on Not Your Mother's Beach Babe Shampoo and Conditioner. I received these two products in my Influenster Surf's Up Vox Box a little while ago and were sent for free to test out. This review is based on my opinion after using the products. I was a little skeptical at first because I didn't know if they were going to work in my hair but I was pretty much proved wrong.

Not Your Mother's Beach Babe Texturizing Shampoo

I love that both products are sulfate free which was great for me. I use a lot of sulfate free products in my hair. This shampoo smelled so amazing, it was like you were on a tropical beach. You did not need a lot of product to wash with. I had to enough to wash all of my hair (and I have A LOT of it) and still have some left to use another time. It really cleansed my scalp and left my hair feeling pretty soft. What sold me on this brand is that I noticed the front section of my hair that doesn't curl much had some curls. I was impressed.

Not Your Mother's Beach Babe Texturizing Conditioner

This had the same amazing smell as the shampoo. I was surprised I had enough for all my hair in this bottle. I loved the texture of the conditioner but had a little bit of a time detangling my hair. I wanted to make sure I had enough for my hair but other than that, I loved how my hair felt after I used it.

I decided to try a braid out with my hair after using these two products to see how my hair would turn out. I did a few braids in sections on damp hair and also used a few styling products to help. I left the braids in overnight and was so surprised when I took them out the next day!! I have never gotten definition from a braid out before like this!!

I was so excited and impressed with this duo! I will be repurchasing this and love that it is so affordable. I'm looking forward to trying out many more styles with my hair.

So that is it on this review? Have you tried products by this brand before? What are your thoughts? Comment below and let me know!!

Sometimes its hard.....

You know when you keep thinking of something and you just feel like you have to get it out? That was me before sitting down to write this post. I had something else planned to write but I kept thinking...sometimes its hard and it just evolved from there. We all heard the sayings, life isn't fair, life is hard and so on. Sometimes life can be hard but we don't experience it for long. There are so many things that I want to do but I know I can't do a million things at once. I can't just pick and go anymore, I'm someone's parent now. There are times I want to but I know things have to be planned out now. I will get to those place I want to go, just have to be patient and plan it out. It seems like we focus so much on what is hard about life that we forget about the easy stuff. We forget sometimes about all the good things that happen and to be grateful for getting through those rough patches. You may not like your living situation but you have a roof over

On a personal note....Update on Blogging and Personal Goals

Happy Football Sunday!! I hope everyone has been enjoying the weekend and getting ready to celebrate Thanksgiving!! I can't believe it is this week! I can't wait to spend time with family! I thought about giving an update to the personal and blogging goals I set for myself last year with the Resolute Beauty Blogger series. You can check out my results post  HERE!!  I completed this in May of this year so let's see how I've been doing since then. Blogging Goals 1. Attend A Blogging Event- Since then I have not attended another event. I was so happy when I did find my one event to attend. I have been keeping in contact with those bloggers I met and reading their blogs. I have been finding events but there are scheduling conflicts. I hope to find another one very soon. 2. Set A Blogging Schedule- I am still sticking to my Sunday, Thursday and every other Friday schedule. It has been really working with my hectic schedule I already have. 3. Change Up Current Style-

Fall Fashion Trends 2017

I keep saying it but I'm going to speak it into existence, I'm going to New York Fashion Week one of these days. It has always been a dream of mine to go and I always miss when it is or have a conflicting schedule but I'm determined to get there. Speaking of fashion, I wanted to share some of my favorites Fall Fashions trends I've seen floating around.  Plaid Image taken from the web I feel like plaid is one of those classic patterns that is always in style. It may not be in the forefront but you always see it. I love plaid, I don't wear it often but I just love how you can dress it up or down, be casual or dressy with it. I would normally wear a plaid button up shirt but would like to venture into different pieces. Sleepwear  When I first saw people doing this, I wasn't a fan but the more I saw different versions, I started to like it. I like this trend when it is done right. I feel like this can be worn on a night out, something you
