My Makeup Story Tag

Hey guys! While my crazy computer is out of commission for a while, I thought I would do a fun tag. I was surfing the web and came across a few that I saw other YouTubers and Bloggers do. I decided to start with this one first.

1. How old were you when you started wearing makeup?

I would say I was about 15. All I knew how to do was put on eyeliner (and I had every color), mascara and lip gloss.

2. How did you get into makeup?

One of my friends used to put on her makeup before school and we would all watch her lol. I thought it looked nice and I was a girl, I wanted to wear it.

3. What are some of your favorite brands?

Mac, Nyx, Maybelline, Too Faced, Benefit, Revlon, Cover Girl, Jesse's Girl, Makeup Forever, and so much more lol!

4. What does makeup mean to you?

It's a form of expression and feeling good. I love enhancing what I already have and looking my age since people still mistake me for a teenager lol!

5. If you could only wear 4 products on your face, what would they be?

BB Cream, Mascara, Lipstick and Bronzer

6. What is your favorite thing about makeup?

You can create endless looks and be so creative. You have so many colors, finishes and textures to choose from. Plus, you make your own rules to stand out.

7. What do you think about drugstore vs. high end?

Most drugstore products are just as good and even better than some high end. It's good to have mix of both in your collection.

8. What is one tip of advice you can give a beginner?

Make your own rules and have fun with makeup.

9. What is one makeup trend you never understood?

Just wearing way too much.

10. What do you think of the beauty community on You Tube?

I love it!! I have learned so much from watching tutorials, it has helped me apply my makeup better.

Sometimes its hard.....

You know when you keep thinking of something and you just feel like you have to get it out? That was me before sitting down to write this post. I had something else planned to write but I kept thinking...sometimes its hard and it just evolved from there. We all heard the sayings, life isn't fair, life is hard and so on. Sometimes life can be hard but we don't experience it for long. There are so many things that I want to do but I know I can't do a million things at once. I can't just pick and go anymore, I'm someone's parent now. There are times I want to but I know things have to be planned out now. I will get to those place I want to go, just have to be patient and plan it out. It seems like we focus so much on what is hard about life that we forget about the easy stuff. We forget sometimes about all the good things that happen and to be grateful for getting through those rough patches. You may not like your living situation but you have a roof over

On a personal note....Update on Blogging and Personal Goals

Happy Football Sunday!! I hope everyone has been enjoying the weekend and getting ready to celebrate Thanksgiving!! I can't believe it is this week! I can't wait to spend time with family! I thought about giving an update to the personal and blogging goals I set for myself last year with the Resolute Beauty Blogger series. You can check out my results post HERE!! I completed this in May of this year so let's see how I've been doing since then. Blogging Goals 1. Attend A Blogging Event- Since then I have not attended another event. I was so happy when I did find my one event to attend. I have been keeping in contact with those bloggers I met and reading their blogs. I have been finding events but there are scheduling conflicts. I hope to find another one very soon. 2. Set A Blogging Schedule- I am still sticking to my Sunday, Thursday and every other Friday schedule. It has been really working with my hectic schedule I already have. 3. Change Up Current Style-

Fall Fashion Trends 2017

I keep saying it but I'm going to speak it into existence, I'm going to New York Fashion Week one of these days. It has always been a dream of mine to go and I always miss when it is or have a conflicting schedule but I'm determined to get there. Speaking of fashion, I wanted to share some of my favorites Fall Fashions trends I've seen floating around. Plaid Image taken from the web I feel like plaid is one of those classic patterns that is always in style. It may not be in the forefront but you always see it. I love plaid, I don't wear it often but I just love how you can dress it up or down, be casual or dressy with it. I would normally wear a plaid button up shirt but would like to venture into different pieces. Sleepwear When I first saw people doing this, I wasn't a fan but the more I saw different versions, I started to like it. I like this trend when it is done right.
