Lip Product Reviews

I hope everyone has been enjoying their weekend. Can't believe it has gone by so fast. This post is going to be on a few lip products that I have been using over the past few months.

MAC Mineralize Rich Lipsticks in Good Taste and Bold Spring

Good Taste(L) and Bold Spring(R)

If you have been reading my blog for a while, you should know how much I love MAC lol. I got these when they first came out. I was in the mood for different colors to wear and I tried on all of the mineralize rich lipsticks and decided on these two. They go on very smooth and are very moisturizing. I love how pigmented and vibrant the colors are. They do have a pretty good wear time and do not dry your lips out. Here are the swatches of both colors.

Riri Hearts MAC Pleasure Bomb Lipstick

I was so lucky to get my hands on this lipstick. I missed all the other lipsticks I wanted from this collection because they sold out so fast. It was say after this installment of her collection came out in the stores. I was walking through Macy's when I saw this lipstick on display. I asked the sales associate if they has anymore left and she said "You're in luck, I just got three in this morning." I jumped on it and purchased one along with an eyeliner. I let this sit in my drawer for a while until I went out one night. This lipstick is amazing!! It has a matte finish and did not feel drying on my lips at all. Best thing about this lipstick is that it stayed on my lips all night and did not fade at all! I was so impressed by that. I'm afraid to use this lipstick up because I know I can't find it again but it is one of my new favorites in my collection!! Here is a swatch of it and picture of myself wearing it.

My makeup game is getting better!! Lol! Hoping to do some tutorials soon!

Cover Girl Queen Collection Lipstick in Classy Coral

I remember when Spring started that so many people were rocking an orange lip. It was the new trend this season and I was a little scared of it. I wanted to rock it myself but didn't want to look like a clown. I found this at Walmart one day and just recently used it. I have other lipsticks from this collection and I love the pigmentation of the colors and how smooth they go on. With this lipstick, you have to moisturize before applying because it will feel dry. Other than than, it's a great lipstick to own. Here is the swatch and a picture of me wearing it. Everyone seemed to like it, I wasn't too sure at first but grew to love the color on me.

Wet 'N Wild Vicious Varnish High Shine Lip Stain in Global Fierceness

This is from the Fergie collection and was an impulse buy lol. I was in Walgreen's looking for another product when I saw the display for this. It was on 1.99 I think and you couldn't beat the price. I let this one sit for a while and loved it when I finally used it. I love how when you first apply it, it's a high shine gloss but during the day it becomes a stain and I love how the color looks when it fades. To me its like a two in one product, you get a gloss and a stain. It stays pretty pigmented as fades and doesn't get dry at all. Here is a swatch of it.

Wet 'N Wild Mega Slicks Balm Stain in Lady And The Vamp

I'm starting to be inside of Walgreen's more for makeup and beauty items lol! I saw this in Walgreen's too and decided to give it a try. This berry color is more for the Fall and Winter but I still wore it a couple times in the Spring. This is pretty moisturizing and I love the color so much. This pretty much does the same thing as the previous Wet 'N Wild product I talked about but the color doesn't stay all vibrant when it starts to fade. Here is a swatch.

NYC Expect Last Lip Color in Berry Me

I was actually in North Carolina when I found this lipstick. I love going to Walmarts in different states, especially down south. This was new to the NYC collection and didn't see it around my way yet. This lipstick is more on and sheer side but it's a great color you can build on. It is very moisturizing and doesn't get dry on your lips. I stopped myself at getting one because there were so many pretty colors to choose from. Here is the swatch.

So that is it for my reviews on some of the new lips products I have in my large collection. Have you tried any of these lip products before? What were your thoughts? Comment below and let me know.

Sometimes its hard.....

You know when you keep thinking of something and you just feel like you have to get it out? That was me before sitting down to write this post. I had something else planned to write but I kept thinking...sometimes its hard and it just evolved from there. We all heard the sayings, life isn't fair, life is hard and so on. Sometimes life can be hard but we don't experience it for long. There are so many things that I want to do but I know I can't do a million things at once. I can't just pick and go anymore, I'm someone's parent now. There are times I want to but I know things have to be planned out now. I will get to those place I want to go, just have to be patient and plan it out. It seems like we focus so much on what is hard about life that we forget about the easy stuff. We forget sometimes about all the good things that happen and to be grateful for getting through those rough patches. You may not like your living situation but you have a roof over ...

On a personal note....Update on Blogging and Personal Goals

Happy Football Sunday!! I hope everyone has been enjoying the weekend and getting ready to celebrate Thanksgiving!! I can't believe it is this week! I can't wait to spend time with family! I thought about giving an update to the personal and blogging goals I set for myself last year with the Resolute Beauty Blogger series. You can check out my results post  HERE!!  I completed this in May of this year so let's see how I've been doing since then. Blogging Goals 1. Attend A Blogging Event- Since then I have not attended another event. I was so happy when I did find my one event to attend. I have been keeping in contact with those bloggers I met and reading their blogs. I have been finding events but there are scheduling conflicts. I hope to find another one very soon. 2. Set A Blogging Schedule- I am still sticking to my Sunday, Thursday and every other Friday schedule. It has been really working with my hectic schedule I already have. 3. Change Up Current Style-...

Taking a break.......

On Tuesday I did mention that I had some exciting news to share. I have been working part time for a while and searching like crazy for full time work. I was starting to get a little frustrated but never gave up. Well a full time opportunity came up at my current job and I am now full time status!!! I was just so overjoyed and thankful. I will have a more stable income, I can go back to school and start to make some moves. Then I started to get a little overwhelmed. How was I going to juggle being a full-time working mom, grad student, blogger and balance everything else. It has been a while since I had a full time schedule and based my blogging schedule around my days off during the week. I start my full time hours next week and just need to take a small break away from Naturalle Drea. I really didn't want to because I love this so much but I need to see how to handle everything. I will most likely change my blogging schedule around. Thank you to those who have been encouraging to...
