Thursday Reviews: Brown Box Hair Products

Happy Thursday!! I hope everyone enjoyed the 4th of July weekend! It was great having a whole weekend off from work and to spend time with family. I haven't done a post in this series in a while and I have been using a lot of great products over the past couple months. This is a different post because I purchased these products myself and you may of seen some of them in my favorites post. Let's get into the reviews.

Miss Jessie's Baby Buttermilk

If you watched my latest favorites video, you heard me raving about this moisturizer. This has become my new holy grail hair product. When I hear and see a lot of people raving about a hair product, I get curious and have to try it out. I already love Miss Jessie's hair products and this was worth every penny. This moisturizer is a great daily moisturizer that helps keep your hair hydrated and soft. This really keeps my hair super moisturized all week when I do my twistouts and also great touch up my hair during the week, This product is 22.00 but worth it.

Carol's Daughter Hair Milk Original Leave-In Moisturizer

If you have been following me for a while, you know that I love Carol's Daughter products. They were the first products I used in my hair when I went natural and have worked so well with my hair. I always wanted to try products from the Hair Milk line after hearing some great things about them on YouTube. I love this leave in moisturizer. It is so creamy and a little thick but easy to work with. It does not weigh my hair down and is not greasy at all. It helps keep my hair moisturized, soft and easy to manage. This product is 12.00 and can be found in Target, Ulta and online.

Carol's Daughter Hair Milk Nourishing and Conditioning Styling Butter

I randomly picked this up at Target one day and I'm glad that I did. This works so well with the leave in moisturizer to help define my hair. I use this to help my style last most of the week and stay tamed. I love the thick and creamy consistency of this styler and it is not heavy at all. I loved the results every single time I used this product. This is also 12.00.

Camille Rose Naturals Almond Jai Twisting Butter

I have heard so much about this company and their amazing hair products. I was trying so hard to wait to purchase something but couldn't resist when I saw this in Target. (I'm in Target every week for some reason lol). This twisting butter is amazing! It smells so good and I love the texture of this product. I was just so impressed with the results I got when I used this styler. My hair lasted all week and stayed moisturized and defined. You can find this at Target, Walmart and just about most drug stores for about 16.99.

Curls Blueberry Bliss Control Paste

It was so hard to get my hands on this product. It was always sold out at Target and I just about gave up until I saw it one day. Everyone and their mother was talking about this and raving about it. This product is mainly used to lay down fly away hairs and lay your edges. I love the smell of this control paste and the pretty blue color. This does a great job at keeping the fly away's down and my edges laid. I can see why everyone loves this so much. It does not flake or dry your hair out at all. This products runs for about 7.99.

Curls Creme Brule Whipped Curl Cream

I love when hair products come in the travel size. It gives you a chance of trying out the product before spending the money on the full size container. I've always wanted to try styling products by this brand. This whipped curl creme smells so amazing and is just as amazing in my hair. I loved the results and how defined my hair was. I was really impressed and would purchase the full size sometime. This product runs for 10.99.

Curls Lavish Curls Moisturizer

I was a little skeptical about this moisturizer because it was in a liquid form. I didn't think it would moisturize my hair enough but I was wrong. This also has an amazing scent and works really well with my hair. I really love the different form of a moisturizer. I don't have to be heavy handed at all and it really keeps my hair moisturized and soft. I think I would get the full size of this moisturizer. This product is 10.99 in most drugstores.

So that is it for Brow Box Hair Product Reviews. Have you tried any of these products before? What were your thoughts? Comment below and let me know. Hope you enjoy the weekend and see you for Sunday Fashions.

Sometimes its hard.....

You know when you keep thinking of something and you just feel like you have to get it out? That was me before sitting down to write this post. I had something else planned to write but I kept thinking...sometimes its hard and it just evolved from there. We all heard the sayings, life isn't fair, life is hard and so on. Sometimes life can be hard but we don't experience it for long. There are so many things that I want to do but I know I can't do a million things at once. I can't just pick and go anymore, I'm someone's parent now. There are times I want to but I know things have to be planned out now. I will get to those place I want to go, just have to be patient and plan it out. It seems like we focus so much on what is hard about life that we forget about the easy stuff. We forget sometimes about all the good things that happen and to be grateful for getting through those rough patches. You may not like your living situation but you have a roof over ...

On a personal note....Update on Blogging and Personal Goals

Happy Football Sunday!! I hope everyone has been enjoying the weekend and getting ready to celebrate Thanksgiving!! I can't believe it is this week! I can't wait to spend time with family! I thought about giving an update to the personal and blogging goals I set for myself last year with the Resolute Beauty Blogger series. You can check out my results post  HERE!!  I completed this in May of this year so let's see how I've been doing since then. Blogging Goals 1. Attend A Blogging Event- Since then I have not attended another event. I was so happy when I did find my one event to attend. I have been keeping in contact with those bloggers I met and reading their blogs. I have been finding events but there are scheduling conflicts. I hope to find another one very soon. 2. Set A Blogging Schedule- I am still sticking to my Sunday, Thursday and every other Friday schedule. It has been really working with my hectic schedule I already have. 3. Change Up Current Style-...

Taking a break.......

On Tuesday I did mention that I had some exciting news to share. I have been working part time for a while and searching like crazy for full time work. I was starting to get a little frustrated but never gave up. Well a full time opportunity came up at my current job and I am now full time status!!! I was just so overjoyed and thankful. I will have a more stable income, I can go back to school and start to make some moves. Then I started to get a little overwhelmed. How was I going to juggle being a full-time working mom, grad student, blogger and balance everything else. It has been a while since I had a full time schedule and based my blogging schedule around my days off during the week. I start my full time hours next week and just need to take a small break away from Naturalle Drea. I really didn't want to because I love this so much but I need to see how to handle everything. I will most likely change my blogging schedule around. Thank you to those who have been encouraging to...
