I've been in the market for a new facial moisturizer and was excited to try this one out. I've never used any facial product that contained retinol which is beneficial for the skin. Directly from the Trilane site, Trilane® Anti-Aging Moisturizer with Squalane brings together two extraordinary botanicals—ultra-hydrating olive squalane and firming jojoba esters—into one pure, powerful, all-natural formula. Silky smooth to the touch, Trilane® penetrates instantly and deeply to super-hydrate and soften your skin. In just 5 hours, the nutrients in this advanced anti-aging moisturizer also work to lift and firm skin and visibly reduce fine lines and wrinkles. Trilane transforms your complexion by creating healthy, radiant skin…something synthetic products, layers of makeup, or expensive artificial treatments can never do.
Squalane is the source of an anti-aging miracle for your skin that scientist discovered. It is actually an emollent rich olive oil that helps your skin to be more supple, smooth, radiant and moisturized. This product is 100% natural which is a bonus.

I honestly wasn't expecting this moisturizer to be in an oil form. I normally use oils for my night time moisturizer. Here is what the product looks like if you can see it on my hand lol.

This anti aging moisturizer has so many amazing benefits for the skin. Directly from the site:

  • Firms and lifts your skin
  • Reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
  • Smooths and softens for a luxuriously silky feel
  • Deeply nourishes and hydrates your skin
  • Reduces dry, rough, flaky skin
  • Fragrance free
After using this moisturizer for about a week, I have noticed a difference in the appearance of my skin. It looks so much clearer and has an amzing glow. It just looks so much healthier. You do have to be careful with how much product you do use. The first time I used this, I used two pumps and it was too much. The moisturizer took a while to settle into my T-zone. I only use one pump for both morning and evening. It absorbs into the skin very well but I have to blot away the excess on my forehead. Other than that, this moisturizer is amazing and I love it!! It has become my new moisturizer in my skincare regimen.

****Now Healthy Directions that sells this moisturizer is offering my readers 20% off this amazing product!! It is so worth giving a try if you are in the market to try something new.  You can find the moisturizer HERE and at checkout enter this promotion code: SAVERETC.  Let me know if you do purchase and give this a try.

So that is it for my review on Trilane Retinol + Vitamin C moisturizer. How you tried this before? What were your thoughts? Comment below and let me know. Hope you enjoy this holiday weekend and see you Sunday.

Sometimes its hard.....

You know when you keep thinking of something and you just feel like you have to get it out? That was me before sitting down to write this post. I had something else planned to write but I kept thinking...sometimes its hard and it just evolved from there. We all heard the sayings, life isn't fair, life is hard and so on. Sometimes life can be hard but we don't experience it for long. There are so many things that I want to do but I know I can't do a million things at once. I can't just pick and go anymore, I'm someone's parent now. There are times I want to but I know things have to be planned out now. I will get to those place I want to go, just have to be patient and plan it out. It seems like we focus so much on what is hard about life that we forget about the easy stuff. We forget sometimes about all the good things that happen and to be grateful for getting through those rough patches. You may not like your living situation but you have a roof over

On a personal note....Update on Blogging and Personal Goals

Happy Football Sunday!! I hope everyone has been enjoying the weekend and getting ready to celebrate Thanksgiving!! I can't believe it is this week! I can't wait to spend time with family! I thought about giving an update to the personal and blogging goals I set for myself last year with the Resolute Beauty Blogger series. You can check out my results post  HERE!!  I completed this in May of this year so let's see how I've been doing since then. Blogging Goals 1. Attend A Blogging Event- Since then I have not attended another event. I was so happy when I did find my one event to attend. I have been keeping in contact with those bloggers I met and reading their blogs. I have been finding events but there are scheduling conflicts. I hope to find another one very soon. 2. Set A Blogging Schedule- I am still sticking to my Sunday, Thursday and every other Friday schedule. It has been really working with my hectic schedule I already have. 3. Change Up Current Style-

Fall Fashion Trends 2017

I keep saying it but I'm going to speak it into existence, I'm going to New York Fashion Week one of these days. It has always been a dream of mine to go and I always miss when it is or have a conflicting schedule but I'm determined to get there. Speaking of fashion, I wanted to share some of my favorites Fall Fashions trends I've seen floating around.  Plaid Image taken from the web I feel like plaid is one of those classic patterns that is always in style. It may not be in the forefront but you always see it. I love plaid, I don't wear it often but I just love how you can dress it up or down, be casual or dressy with it. I would normally wear a plaid button up shirt but would like to venture into different pieces. Sleepwear  When I first saw people doing this, I wasn't a fan but the more I saw different versions, I started to like it. I like this trend when it is done right. I feel like this can be worn on a night out, something you
