How I Go From Curly To Straight

Happy Friday Loves!! Here is how I take my hair from curly to straight at home. It took a little bit to get a solid routine down but I got it. It is easy for me and saves money. What is your straight hair routine? What products do you use? Comment below and let me know. Stay warm and see you Sunday!!

January Fitness Challenge Update

I have completed my challenge and I'm so proud of myself. I really pushed and worked hard. It will all be worth it soon. It is really easy to work out now, I can do some of the advanced moves and really go hard working out. I'm not going to stop working out, it's only the beginning.

Anyone having a Super Bowl party on Sunday? I plan on watching the game and hopefully enjoy some good food.

I'm going to try not to eat any bread next month which is going to be hard. I love pizza lol!!

  1. Wow you def have process to straighten your hair huh? Mine is pretty simple since my hair is only a little wavy. I blow dry it then run a straighter thought it. When I straighten my hair during the week, it is after it air drys overnight but even then, all I have to do is run a straightener through it. Good thing you can go that long without having to wash it. It would probably help prolong your hair color if you dyed your hair. I wash my hair every other day and it gets oily so fast..I wish it could go longer.

    1. Yea it's a bit of a process but it saves on money and not putting so much heat on my hair. The last time I colored my hair was when I go that henna sometime last year. I've been thinking of changing my hair color soon. Thanks for watching Tanya!

  2. WOW! You have a tight hair care routine. No wonder your hair looks so beautiful, and it really looks great straight also. I love the Garnier leave in conditioner also...I use it everyday!

Sometimes its hard.....

You know when you keep thinking of something and you just feel like you have to get it out? That was me before sitting down to write this post. I had something else planned to write but I kept thinking...sometimes its hard and it just evolved from there. We all heard the sayings, life isn't fair, life is hard and so on. Sometimes life can be hard but we don't experience it for long. There are so many things that I want to do but I know I can't do a million things at once. I can't just pick and go anymore, I'm someone's parent now. There are times I want to but I know things have to be planned out now. I will get to those place I want to go, just have to be patient and plan it out. It seems like we focus so much on what is hard about life that we forget about the easy stuff. We forget sometimes about all the good things that happen and to be grateful for getting through those rough patches. You may not like your living situation but you have a roof over

On a personal note....Update on Blogging and Personal Goals

Happy Football Sunday!! I hope everyone has been enjoying the weekend and getting ready to celebrate Thanksgiving!! I can't believe it is this week! I can't wait to spend time with family! I thought about giving an update to the personal and blogging goals I set for myself last year with the Resolute Beauty Blogger series. You can check out my results post  HERE!!  I completed this in May of this year so let's see how I've been doing since then. Blogging Goals 1. Attend A Blogging Event- Since then I have not attended another event. I was so happy when I did find my one event to attend. I have been keeping in contact with those bloggers I met and reading their blogs. I have been finding events but there are scheduling conflicts. I hope to find another one very soon. 2. Set A Blogging Schedule- I am still sticking to my Sunday, Thursday and every other Friday schedule. It has been really working with my hectic schedule I already have. 3. Change Up Current Style-

Fall Fashion Trends 2017

I keep saying it but I'm going to speak it into existence, I'm going to New York Fashion Week one of these days. It has always been a dream of mine to go and I always miss when it is or have a conflicting schedule but I'm determined to get there. Speaking of fashion, I wanted to share some of my favorites Fall Fashions trends I've seen floating around.  Plaid Image taken from the web I feel like plaid is one of those classic patterns that is always in style. It may not be in the forefront but you always see it. I love plaid, I don't wear it often but I just love how you can dress it up or down, be casual or dressy with it. I would normally wear a plaid button up shirt but would like to venture into different pieces. Sleepwear  When I first saw people doing this, I wasn't a fan but the more I saw different versions, I started to like it. I like this trend when it is done right. I feel like this can be worn on a night out, something you
