Frosty Vox Box Review*

Happy Sunday!! I hope everyone had a good weekend, I sure did lol!! My birthday was this past Friday and had a much needed weekend away. I'm so thankful to see another year!  I'm not looking forward to this snow that is coming soon. This post is going to be on the products I received in my Frosty Vox Box. *I received these products complementary from Influenster for testing purposes.

Rimmel London Gentle Eye Makeup Remover and Scandaleyes Kohl Pencil in Black

I previously did a full review on these two products which you can read HERE!! I have been loving both of these products and the brand Rimmel London.

Eco Tools Full Volume Styler

I was pretty excited to see this brush in my box. I couldn't wait to see how it would work the next time I straightened my hair. It is supposed to dry your hair 20% faster and not be as damaging. I think this is about to be my new brush to use when blow drying my hair. I love how big the brush is and how is does help cut down the drying time. It is so easy to use. The only thing is the handle of the brush. It would be nice if had a little more curve and grip to it. Other than that, I love this brush. Here are a couple pictures of me straightening my hair last week.

No. 7 Serum Protect and Prefect Intense Advanced Serum

I was a little apprehensive about trying this serum. I found one that has been working so well with my skin and most serums that I have tried have broken my face out. This one broke my face out too. I did like the consistency and texture of the serum.

McCormick Gourmet Thyme

When I saw this in my box, I thought it was so random lol!! I normally don't cook with thyme unless it is required in a recipe. I love the McCormick website. They have so many recipes to choose from and make. It was easy to find a recipe to use with the thyme. I just typed in the ingredient and so many interesting recipes came up. I decided to make the Garlic and Herb Potatoes. It was so easy and the family loved it!!

Fruit Vines Bites in Cherry

Who doesn't love candy? I've been trying to stay away from sugar and not eat as many sweets. This did not make it easy for me lol! I'm snacking on these as I'm typing this lol! I love these!! They are not too sweet and just a great treat to have. I've been hiding these from my son because he would be bouncing off the walls lol. I may let him have a couple.

NYC Lipstick in Sugar Plum

I was happy to see this lipstick in my box. I already own a couple in different colors and they are pretty good lip products. This shade was a frosty shade which I normally don't wear but I like this one. It is pretty pigmented and had pretty good wear time. Here is a picture of my wearing Sugar Plum.

Celestial Teas in Candy Cane Lane

I love teas by this company, they have the best flavors!! I saved this tea for Christmas morning. I was expecting a peppermint flavor but it was more vanilla and mint which was pretty interesting. I really enjoyed this tea and would get this flavor again!

So that is it for my review on my Frosty Vox Box. I really enjoyed everything that I received except for the serum. Did you get this box? What were your thoughts? Comment below and let me know!! Be safe this week if you expecting snow and see you guys Tuesday!!

~** Drea Notes **~

I got my first gel manicure over the weekend and I love it!! It was birthday treat to myself.

I'm kinda sad that football season is already over. I'll be watching the Super Bowl for all the commericals and Katy Perry during half time. It should be a good game.

    1. It was a good box, I love my brush too. I think we are supposed to get up to 18 inches, maybe more but I got to leave work early since I love so far away from my job. Thanks Tanya!!

  3. I got the same box! I shared the candy with hubby, I didn't think I would like it but I'm happy it wasn't super sweet either. Sorry about the serum, I haven't tried it but I hate using serums that is just a sample size since you can't really see results for just using it a few times.

    1. Yea, I'm hiding the candy from everyone lol but I may share. I think it was a good serum but too bad it did break me out. Yea, I wish they would give bigger samples of that kind of skincare too. Thanks for stopping by Jackie!!

Sometimes its hard.....

You know when you keep thinking of something and you just feel like you have to get it out? That was me before sitting down to write this post. I had something else planned to write but I kept thinking...sometimes its hard and it just evolved from there. We all heard the sayings, life isn't fair, life is hard and so on. Sometimes life can be hard but we don't experience it for long. There are so many things that I want to do but I know I can't do a million things at once. I can't just pick and go anymore, I'm someone's parent now. There are times I want to but I know things have to be planned out now. I will get to those place I want to go, just have to be patient and plan it out. It seems like we focus so much on what is hard about life that we forget about the easy stuff. We forget sometimes about all the good things that happen and to be grateful for getting through those rough patches. You may not like your living situation but you have a roof over

On a personal note....Update on Blogging and Personal Goals

Happy Football Sunday!! I hope everyone has been enjoying the weekend and getting ready to celebrate Thanksgiving!! I can't believe it is this week! I can't wait to spend time with family! I thought about giving an update to the personal and blogging goals I set for myself last year with the Resolute Beauty Blogger series. You can check out my results post  HERE!!  I completed this in May of this year so let's see how I've been doing since then. Blogging Goals 1. Attend A Blogging Event- Since then I have not attended another event. I was so happy when I did find my one event to attend. I have been keeping in contact with those bloggers I met and reading their blogs. I have been finding events but there are scheduling conflicts. I hope to find another one very soon. 2. Set A Blogging Schedule- I am still sticking to my Sunday, Thursday and every other Friday schedule. It has been really working with my hectic schedule I already have. 3. Change Up Current Style-

Fall Fashion Trends 2017

I keep saying it but I'm going to speak it into existence, I'm going to New York Fashion Week one of these days. It has always been a dream of mine to go and I always miss when it is or have a conflicting schedule but I'm determined to get there. Speaking of fashion, I wanted to share some of my favorites Fall Fashions trends I've seen floating around.  Plaid Image taken from the web I feel like plaid is one of those classic patterns that is always in style. It may not be in the forefront but you always see it. I love plaid, I don't wear it often but I just love how you can dress it up or down, be casual or dressy with it. I would normally wear a plaid button up shirt but would like to venture into different pieces. Sleepwear  When I first saw people doing this, I wasn't a fan but the more I saw different versions, I started to like it. I like this trend when it is done right. I feel like this can be worn on a night out, something you
