Honey Baby Naturals Skincare Review

It really has been feeling like Summer lately lol. It has been so warm and sunny. I wonder when the Fall weather is going to roll in lol. Today I am continuing my Honey Baby Naturals review. You can see my review on the hair products  RIGHT HERE!  Let's get into the reviews of their skincare products.  Honey Nectar Body Jelly  I tried this product at the show I went to in June and knew I had to have this product. Taken from the site, this body jelly is a   natural rich blend of emollients and oils sooth and protect against extremely dry skin. Unique 100% petrolatum free formula creates a protective layer over the skin and absorbs quickly. This protect has a unique consistency and it is pretty thick. It absorbs into the skin very well and doesn't feel heavy or greasy at all. I love the glow it gives my skin has and it keeps it moisturized all day. This may be a favorite during the colder weather.  Bee Sweet Face and Body Butter ...

Fro Butter Emu Oil Review

Well I guess Summer is still trying to hold on lol. I was about to pack away all the Summer clothes but I should leave them out I guess. I'll go through all my Fall wardrobe in the meantime to see what I'll need when the weather gets cooler. Today I am sharing my review on Fro Butter Emu Oil.  I don't know if I told you guys but I am one of Fro Butter's ambassadors for the next 6 months! I was so excited when I got the email about being chosen. You will be seeing post about their products more on here and my Instagram.  A little background on this company before we hop into the review:  Fro Butter is a Black Owned Business started in 2012 by owners Susana Stewart and Caroline Maina. They were in the market for affordable and organic hair products and it all started from there.  I was introduced to this product last year when I received it in my Onyx Box. I really loved the product and so did my husband and son lol. Taken directly from the si...

Fall Fashion Trends 2017

I keep saying it but I'm going to speak it into existence, I'm going to New York Fashion Week one of these days. It has always been a dream of mine to go and I always miss when it is or have a conflicting schedule but I'm determined to get there. Speaking of fashion, I wanted to share some of my favorites Fall Fashions trends I've seen floating around.  Plaid Image taken from the web I feel like plaid is one of those classic patterns that is always in style. It may not be in the forefront but you always see it. I love plaid, I don't wear it often but I just love how you can dress it up or down, be casual or dressy with it. I would normally wear a plaid button up shirt but would like to venture into different pieces. Sleepwear  When I first saw people doing this, I wasn't a fan but the more I saw different versions, I started to like it. I like this trend when it is done right. I feel like this can be worn on a night out, something you ...

On a personal note...

I can't believe I've been married for 3 months already. It seemed like yesterday I was stressing out over wedding planning and now we are officially married. I have officially changed my last name and it is weird sometimes when people call me Mrs. Johnson. It wasn't as bad I thought going around to change my name. I don't think that now we made things official that it changed us, we are still the same people but just now husband and wife. It is more trying to be on the same page with finances, life, schedules, goals and so on. It is not just about myself anymore, we are a unit, we are one. It has been an adjustment making room for us to share space because as my husband said jokingly, I'm selfish with space. I have a lot of stuff, I'm a female, I'm supposed to lol. Overall, it has been great and I'm looking forward to many years of happiness and love. I feel like I've been having a mini mid-life crisis. I've felt all over the place with my thoug...

Honey Baby Naturals Review

I always love trying out new hair products and discovering new brands. I came across Honey Baby Naturals at the Quintessential Naturals tour I attended last month. I loved how it was a family orientated business and also Afro-Latina owned business as well. I actually picked up the entire line (it made sense because I was getting them at a discount lol) and I'll be reviewing the hair care products today.  I have to say that I love that these products are free of harsh chemicals, sulfates, parabens and much more. Also that honey is one of the main ingredients which is an amazing benefit to your hair. Let's get into the review of each product. Honey Child Moisture Shampoo I like that this shampoo looks like honey and thought it was going to be that consistency. It was not as thick as honey but not as watery as most shampoos. It really cleansed my hair and scalp and left my hair feeling surprisingly soft and moisturized. I was really impressed with that and a l...

Cyantific Skincare Review*

It seems like the Fall weather is here already and it is still Summer technically lol! I'm not sure if I should put all my Summer stuff away or keep some out lol. Today I will be reviewing some products from Cyantific Skincare. *This review is based on my opinion after using the products. I have been using these products for the past two months so I can really give a review on them. This is skincare system is geared towards youthful looking skin and protecting it from harsh uva rays. I am all about anything that will keep me looking young ( I already look way younger than I am lol) and protecting my skin from the sun. I was excited to try everything and see how it would work with my skin. I will say that my skin did not break out so that is a sign that is good with me lol. Let's jump into the reviews. Nourishing Daily Serum Now you know how I feel about serums. I have already found my holy grail one and was a bit hesitant to use this one.  Description (ta...

Shopping My Beauty Samples

I can't get over that September is here already! That means Fall will be here soon and it is one of my favorite seasons. I hope everyone enjoyed their holiday weekend and now gearing up to go back to work and school. Today I am shopping in my beauty samples and decided to review some liquid eyeliners that I have in my stash.  Eyeko London Fat Liquid Eyeliner in Black Box It Came From: Birchbox Full Size or Sample Size: Full Size Price Point: 17.00 Review: I have a feeling that I reviewed this one before but it was probably a while ago. This one was an interesting one to use. It has a "fat" and thicker liner than the other ones I'm going to review. I was surprised that this was fairly easy to use and really pigmented. If I didn't want my liner to be so thick, I could use the very tip of the liner. I probably would purchase this one again.
