Happily Ever Johnson: Finishing Touches and Bachelorette Fun

I can't believe in 6 days I'll be officially Mrs.Johnson!!! Time has flown by so fast, its crazy! It just seems like I was just starting to plan this wedding and now it will be here!! I honestly don't know what I'm going to do with myself when I'm out of wedding planning mode lol. I know you all have been enjoying this series so much and can't wait to show you guys everything! We are now down to the last little details and things to do. We had our finalization meeting a couple weeks ago and we went over everything that is going to happen that day, I finally gave over my seating chart because it was driving me crazy lol and just what we have to do next. We were doing a walk through of where the ceremony will take place and snapped this picture of my fiance standing where we will say I do.

I felt a little something from me standing on the aisle and seeing him up there. It just felt so so-real, like this was really happening soon,

Soon to be Mr. and Mrs. Johnson

After we had our meeting, we went out to test our signature drinks for the wedding. It is hard to tell if something is going to taste good by reading the ingredients and looking at a pretty picture. We both have very different taste when it comes to drinks, I'm not a fan of beer or bitter tasting liquors. I love my mixed, fruity drinks per say but loves a good Long Island lol! We both searched online and I think we found our drinks, now we just need to name them lol!

I've been doing a lot of DIY projects for this wedding. Etsy and any craft store has been my best friend for the past year and a half. I have been online for hours searching for stuff and ordering like crazy. First I started working on the Mr. and Mrs. sign that will go on the head table. I ordered this off of Etsy plain because it was less expensive to order with no paint or glitter. I just purchased glitter spray paint and loved how it turned out.

I also did my own table seating cards. This seating chart drove me crazy and glad that its done lol. I didn't want the typical cards and wanted something different. Searching through Pinterest, I came across this really creative table assignment with small succulent plants. I really liked the idea and decided to go with it. Here is a sample of what the cards will look like. I'm using a chalkboard marker to write the names and table numbers on each one.

I have to pick up my dress soon and I was so excited to try it on and see it again. I took my mom with me and she loved it. They had to do another alteration and steam the dress again but can't wait to have it on for the big day.

Overall things are really starting to come together and its so exciting. I also had my bachelorette party about two weekends ago. I didn't know the location or what we were doing but I had so much fun .There was a lot of alcohol(and there really was a lot lol), laughter and fun the whole weekend.

I will have a post up tomorrow and will be taking a break after that. I plan on vlogging up to the big day and will post that sometime after the wedding. Thank you all for your suggestions, advice, kind words and support during this planning process. I am just waiting for the big day to finally get here!!

HAVE YOU CHECKED OUT MY MAY ONYX BOX??

Sometimes its hard.....

You know when you keep thinking of something and you just feel like you have to get it out? That was me before sitting down to write this post. I had something else planned to write but I kept thinking...sometimes its hard and it just evolved from there. We all heard the sayings, life isn't fair, life is hard and so on. Sometimes life can be hard but we don't experience it for long. There are so many things that I want to do but I know I can't do a million things at once. I can't just pick and go anymore, I'm someone's parent now. There are times I want to but I know things have to be planned out now. I will get to those place I want to go, just have to be patient and plan it out. It seems like we focus so much on what is hard about life that we forget about the easy stuff. We forget sometimes about all the good things that happen and to be grateful for getting through those rough patches. You may not like your living situation but you have a roof over ...

On a personal note....Update on Blogging and Personal Goals

Happy Football Sunday!! I hope everyone has been enjoying the weekend and getting ready to celebrate Thanksgiving!! I can't believe it is this week! I can't wait to spend time with family! I thought about giving an update to the personal and blogging goals I set for myself last year with the Resolute Beauty Blogger series. You can check out my results post  HERE!!  I completed this in May of this year so let's see how I've been doing since then. Blogging Goals 1. Attend A Blogging Event- Since then I have not attended another event. I was so happy when I did find my one event to attend. I have been keeping in contact with those bloggers I met and reading their blogs. I have been finding events but there are scheduling conflicts. I hope to find another one very soon. 2. Set A Blogging Schedule- I am still sticking to my Sunday, Thursday and every other Friday schedule. It has been really working with my hectic schedule I already have. 3. Change Up Current Style-...

No Buy is Officially Over!!

Yay!! I survived 2 months without a single makeup purchase!! I am so proud of myself and knew I had the will power to do it!! It really helped me staying out of Sephora, Ulta and Mac, the usual places that get me in trouble lol! When I went into Target or Walmart, I wouldn't even go near the makeup section. Funny thing is, I haven't run to the store yet to purchase anything on my wish list yet but I will soon. You can see what is on my wish list here.  After organizing my makeup, I realized I have a lot of products that I don't use and need to try out soon. I'm going to try to really shop my stash before running out and buying something new. Maybe next time, I will go for a 3 month no buy!! Have you successfully completed a no buy? What is currently on your wish list? Comment below and let me know!! ~** Drea Notes**~ We went to the beach today and I'm so glad we did! It was such a fun day with the family!! I'm trying to get back to working out lol!  ...
