Happily Ever Johnson: Shoe Shopping and Little Things

I'm so happy that the weather is finally feeling like Spring lol! This wedding is like 2 months away and I feel like I'm missing stuff lol! I was so worried about the big stuff that I forgot all about the little things like labels, favors and such! Ahhh! I will get it together because before I know it, the big day will be here. We sent out the invitations and I love checking the mail everyday for the response cards. I'm also trying to figure out when my bridal shower and bachelorette party are going to happen, both are a surprise lol! I just want to make sure I don't show up in  my sweats with my hair looking crazy and no makeup lol! I'm sure someone will make sure I look good! We both found our shoes for the wedding! I was really trying to find the perfect pair to go with my dress. I've been online a lot and in the stores. I finally found them in Nordstrom. I was in the store with one of each of these shoes on trying to decide on a pair. I had several people come up to me and give their vote on which shoe they liked better. I even posted on Instagram the two I was between but not telling which ones I got lol. Both shoes are by Badgely Mischka. Which ones do you think I went with?










After finding my shoes, I helped the groom pick his out. He found a pair in Aldo he really liked and also saw another pair he liked. It was hard for him to decide too but he went with a really nice pair that will look good on the big day. Which shoes do you think he went with?


I'm getting more excited as it gets closer and just can't wait!! Enjoy the rest of the week and see you guys Thursday!!

    How exciting! I love both pairs! Blue just calls to me more but I like the back of the pink more so I like them equally lol

      I orginally wanted the pink pair but the salesperson brought out the blue pair and it was over for me lol! It was so hard to decide! Thanks for stopping by Tanya!!

    I loved both pairs but I like the blue more (Blue is my favorite color)....I especially love the detail in the back

Taking a break.......

On Tuesday I did mention that I had some exciting news to share. I have been working part time for a while and searching like crazy for full time work. I was starting to get a little frustrated but never gave up. Well a full time opportunity came up at my current job and I am now full time status!!! I was just so overjoyed and thankful. I will have a more stable income, I can go back to school and start to make some moves. Then I started to get a little overwhelmed. Make Beauty Review*

Happy Friday beauty lovers! I hope you have been enjoying Winter again lol! I hope Mother Nature gets it together soon lol. Today I am bringing you another review powered by BrandBacker! *I was sent these products for testing purposes and this is my opinion after using. Let's get into the reviews! *Powered By BrandBacker* I was pretty excited when I was picked for this campaign. I have tried a Make Beauty eyeshadow before and loved it. Honestly, I was expecting the samples to be a little bigger. I was a little disappointed in the lipstick sample, it was hard to use. It kept breaking when I was trying to apply it. Updated: How I currently store my makeup

Hey guys! Back in January, I took everyone through my entire, well majority of my makeup collection. I showed how I used to store my makeup. You can see that original post  here.  I had everything stored in my empty Birchboxes. It was working for a while until I went to two makeup shows and I didn't have a place for everything! As I was cleaning one day, I saw that had this tall storage bin with stuff that I don't even use anymore and thought it would be a great place to store all my makeup and still have it organized. Here is a picture of where my makeup is currently stored. I believe I purchased this 7 drawer unit at Walmart years ago and glad I kept it! It has come in handy. I'll take you through what is in each drawer. I'll start with the top of the unit where all my brushes, setting sprays (that I haven't used yet lol), OCC lip tars( I couldn't find anything to store them in but that red cup lol.
