April Goal Results and May Goals

Happy Sunday!! I know I'm posting outside of my schedule (every Tuesday, Thursday and every other Friday) but these posts will go up on the first of every month. Check out my previous post HERE on the goals I set for April. Let's see how I made out this month!

30 Day Squat Challenge

I am proud to say that I finally completed one!! I have tried I don't how many times to complete one of these and always stop after 5 or 6 days! I skipped a couple days but I kept going. I was determined to complete this! I guess doing the different kinds of squat helped me stay on track. Here is the challenge I did for April.

Organize My Samples and Hair Products

Well.......I will be carrying this one over into next month lol! I got as far as purchasing two 3 drawer units to put everything in. I didn't realize how many samples and hair products I have to go through!! I'm determined to finish this project!!

Practicing How To Contour

I think I pretty much have the hang of it but will continue to practice. I used my NYX Cosmetics Contour Conceal Correct palette to contour and I noticed a little bit of a contour. I don't go too heavy for everyday but it has become a part of my makeup routine.

Here are the goals I have set for May:

Finish Organizing My Samples and Hair Products
30 Day Ab Challenge
Daily Writing on Tumblr

Did you have goals from April? How did you make out? Comment below and let me know! See you Tuesday!!

Sometimes its hard.....

You know when you keep thinking of something and you just feel like you have to get it out? That was me before sitting down to write this post. I had something else planned to write but I kept thinking...sometimes its hard and it just evolved from there. We all heard the sayings, life isn't fair, life is hard and so on. Sometimes life can be hard but we don't experience it for long. There are so many things that I want to do but I know I can't do a million things at once. I can't just pick and go anymore, I'm someone's parent now. There are times I want to but I know things have to be planned out now. I will get to those place I want to go, just have to be patient and plan it out. It seems like we focus so much on what is hard about life that we forget about the easy stuff. We forget sometimes about all the good things that happen and to be grateful for getting through those rough patches. You may not like your living situation but you have a roof over

On a personal note....Update on Blogging and Personal Goals

Happy Football Sunday!! I hope everyone has been enjoying the weekend and getting ready to celebrate Thanksgiving!! I can't believe it is this week! I can't wait to spend time with family! I thought about giving an update to the personal and blogging goals I set for myself last year with the Resolute Beauty Blogger series. You can check out my results post  HERE!!  I completed this in May of this year so let's see how I've been doing since then. Blogging Goals 1. Attend A Blogging Event- Since then I have not attended another event. I was so happy when I did find my one event to attend. I have been keeping in contact with those bloggers I met and reading their blogs. I have been finding events but there are scheduling conflicts. I hope to find another one very soon. 2. Set A Blogging Schedule- I am still sticking to my Sunday, Thursday and every other Friday schedule. It has been really working with my hectic schedule I already have. 3. Change Up Current Style-

Fall Fashion Trends 2017

I keep saying it but I'm going to speak it into existence, I'm going to New York Fashion Week one of these days. It has always been a dream of mine to go and I always miss when it is or have a conflicting schedule but I'm determined to get there. Speaking of fashion, I wanted to share some of my favorites Fall Fashions trends I've seen floating around.  Plaid Image taken from the web I feel like plaid is one of those classic patterns that is always in style. It may not be in the forefront but you always see it. I love plaid, I don't wear it often but I just love how you can dress it up or down, be casual or dressy with it. I would normally wear a plaid button up shirt but would like to venture into different pieces. Sleepwear  When I first saw people doing this, I wasn't a fan but the more I saw different versions, I started to like it. I like this trend when it is done right. I feel like this can be worn on a night out, something you
