Liquid Lipstick Battle Part 2

Happy Tuesday!! I'm so glad we didn't get all that snow that was forecasted! I hope Spring will be on its way now lol! Today I'm bringing you reviews on some liquid lipsticks that I've been testing out and wearing over the past couple months. I think I'm becoming a liquid lipstick junkie because I just want to try them all lol! You can see my first post RIGHT HERE!! Let's get into the reviews!

Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lipcolor in Addiction

It was so hard to track down most of the drugstore liquid lipsticks! They were always sold out or in colors I wouldn't wear lol! I didn't even know Revlon had a liquid lipstick until I saw a display in Target (another store I am in every week lol). I am in love this with lipstick. It smells like cupcakes for one and this formula is amazing! It is pigmented and not drying at all. It has a pretty good wear time and I barely have to retouch. This color is so pretty and I just love it!

Maybelline Vivid Matte Liquid in Berry Boost

This is another drugstore one that I really love! These were hard to find as well lol! The pigmentation is amazing, I was pretty impressed when I first used it. The formula was not drying at all and had a pretty good wear time. I think I may of touched up once but overall, love it!

L'Oreal Pro Infallible Pro Matte Gloss in Rouge Envy

Now the concept behind this L'Oreal one is pretty interesting. This says that it is a matte gloss, but glosses are not matte lol! I was curious to get my hands on this one. It does start off like a gloss then it dries to a matte. I love how this fades into looking like a lip stain by the end of the day. I really love this one as well. It is not drying at all and very pigmented. With calling this a matte gloss, it really set L'Oreal apart from everyone else.

Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipstick in Unicorn Blood

One day one of my coworkers was raving about this liquid lipstick and said I needed this in my life lol. This has to be hands down one of the best new high end liquid lipsticks out there. I was love the first time I wore this color. It is so pigmented, lightweight and not drying at all. They last almost all day and just overall amazing! I love how unique the color selection is and just love these.

Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Vampira

I realized that I reviewed this liquid lipstick in the first post but I wasn't as obsessed as I am now. Since then I own 5 of the full size ones and still love them. The only thing is you have to be careful when applying them. If you don't let it dry, it can get streaky but overall still amazing. Also if you don't moisture your lips under the lipstick it can feel drying. I love how they just last all day until you take off your makeup. I'm trying to be good and not purchase anymore (Famous last words lol).

Violet Voss Liquid Lipstick in Naughty Girl

Violet Voss recently launched their line of liquid lipsticks. I have some of their glitters and love them. I was able to pick this up before it officially launched at the makeup show I went to in December. I really love this one too! Violet Voss really did an amazing job with the formula and pigmentation of these lipsticks. They last pretty much all day and don't feel dry at all. I already want to pick up some more.

ColourPop Matte Liquid Lipstick in StingRaye

Sorry the label wore off on this one. I have been loving ColourPop since they launched and figured they would join the liquid lipstick wagon at some point. This one is a collaboration with Its My Raye Raye from YouTube (love her by the way). She did one liquid lipstick, a lippie stix and liner. I really like the formula but the wear time was just okay. It didn't last all day and I had to reapply one or two times during the day. This was not drying at all and great pigmentation. I would like to pick up some more of these.

Here are swatches of all the lipsticks.

So that is it for this liquid lipstick battle. Overall, I love all of them! There will be a part three to this post so look out for that one soon. What are some of your favorite liquid lipsticks? Have you tried any of these? Comment below and let me know. Enjoy the week and see you guys Thursday!!

Have you checked out my previous post, Empties #4??

~**Drea Notes**~

I can't believe Easter is right around the corner! I need to go get my son something to wear!

I'm so glad this class is finally over and I get a two week break before the next one starts!

I want to try that limited edition Cherry Blossom Frap from Starbucks before its gone. I'll let you guys know how it is!

Sometimes its hard.....

You know when you keep thinking of something and you just feel like you have to get it out? That was me before sitting down to write this post. I had something else planned to write but I kept thinking...sometimes its hard and it just evolved from there. We all heard the sayings, life isn't fair, life is hard and so on. Sometimes life can be hard but we don't experience it for long. There are so many things that I want to do but I know I can't do a million things at once. I can't just pick and go anymore, I'm someone's parent now. There are times I want to but I know things have to be planned out now. I will get to those place I want to go, just have to be patient and plan it out. It seems like we focus so much on what is hard about life that we forget about the easy stuff. We forget sometimes about all the good things that happen and to be grateful for getting through those rough patches. You may not like your living situation but you have a roof over ...

On a personal note....Update on Blogging and Personal Goals

Happy Football Sunday!! I hope everyone has been enjoying the weekend and getting ready to celebrate Thanksgiving!! I can't believe it is this week! I can't wait to spend time with family! I thought about giving an update to the personal and blogging goals I set for myself last year with the Resolute Beauty Blogger series. You can check out my results post  HERE!!  I completed this in May of this year so let's see how I've been doing since then. Blogging Goals 1. Attend A Blogging Event- Since then I have not attended another event. I was so happy when I did find my one event to attend. I have been keeping in contact with those bloggers I met and reading their blogs. I have been finding events but there are scheduling conflicts. I hope to find another one very soon. 2. Set A Blogging Schedule- I am still sticking to my Sunday, Thursday and every other Friday schedule. It has been really working with my hectic schedule I already have. 3. Change Up Current Style-...

Taking a break.......

On Tuesday I did mention that I had some exciting news to share. I have been working part time for a while and searching like crazy for full time work. I was starting to get a little frustrated but never gave up. Well a full time opportunity came up at my current job and I am now full time status!!! I was just so overjoyed and thankful. I will have a more stable income, I can go back to school and start to make some moves. Then I started to get a little overwhelmed. How was I going to juggle being a full-time working mom, grad student, blogger and balance everything else. It has been a while since I had a full time schedule and based my blogging schedule around my days off during the week. I start my full time hours next week and just need to take a small break away from Naturalle Drea. I really didn't want to because I love this so much but I need to see how to handle everything. I will most likely change my blogging schedule around. Thank you to those who have been encouraging to...
