Happily Ever Johnson: 3 Months To Go!

*Que screaming and running around like a crazy person*  I can't believe we are three months away from the big day!! It seems like yesterday we just got engaged and started making plans and now it is almost here. I'm not freaking out yet (Lies, I am on the inside lol). I just want to make sure we don't forget anything lol. It seems like it is so easy to forget something when just about everything is going on. I'm getting into the swing of things in my new position and most of my focus seems to be there at the moment but I'm making sure to keep up with everything. I recently met with my coordinators (aka My mom, aunts and cousins) to preview the centerpieces. I'm so thankful for them stepping in and helping with the decor and planning. I'll give you guys a sneak peek at the centerpieces but you won't see the full effect of everything until after the big day.

Of course I drew my inspiration from Pinterest. I have spent so many hours on there and found so much with pulling everything together. The more things are coming together, the more excited I get about the big day.

I am now on the hunt for shoes lol! I don't want just any shoe, I want to be pretty extra lol! I think I have a pair that I want, there are just too may options lol! I also will get the right pair at the right price. I may spend a little outside of what I would normally spend on shoes (and I will wear these after the wedding lol) but I think its worth it! Speaking of dresses, I previously had two dresses I couldn't decide on before we changed venues and locations. I figured I would share what would of been my dress if we were still doing the destination in Jamaica. You'll see why I had such a hard time deciding which one.

I just couldn't choose between the two but the one difference was the price. The first dress was more expensive then the second one. I could of kept one of them but neither fit the venue we have now. I really love the dress that I have now and can't wait to show you guys! I am also on the hunt for something blue. My dress is new, I'm wearing some of Grandmom's jewelry which is old and my aunt let me borrow her veil from her wedding. Any suggestions?

Overall it seems like there is still so much to do but things are really falling into place. We're both really excited(especially for the cake tasting that is coming up soon lol)!

Enjoy the rest of the week and see you guys Thursday!!

HAVE YOU CHECKED OUT MY MONTHLY FAVORITES??

My son lost his first tooth last Friday while at school! I can't take that he's growing up so fast! He was so excited about the tooth fairy lol!

I am so ready for Spring weather, I'm not sure what is wrong with Mother Nature.

Sometimes its hard.....

You know when you keep thinking of something and you just feel like you have to get it out? That was me before sitting down to write this post. I had something else planned to write but I kept thinking...sometimes its hard and it just evolved from there. We all heard the sayings, life isn't fair, life is hard and so on. Sometimes life can be hard but we don't experience it for long. There are so many things that I want to do but I know I can't do a million things at once. I can't just pick and go anymore, I'm someone's parent now. There are times I want to but I know things have to be planned out now. I will get to those place I want to go, just have to be patient and plan it out. It seems like we focus so much on what is hard about life that we forget about the easy stuff. We forget sometimes about all the good things that happen and to be grateful for getting through those rough patches. You may not like your living situation but you have a roof over

On a personal note....Update on Blogging and Personal Goals

Happy Football Sunday!! I hope everyone has been enjoying the weekend and getting ready to celebrate Thanksgiving!! I can't believe it is this week! I can't wait to spend time with family! I thought about giving an update to the personal and blogging goals I set for myself last year with the Resolute Beauty Blogger series. You can check out my results post  HERE!!  I completed this in May of this year so let's see how I've been doing since then. Blogging Goals 1. Attend A Blogging Event- Since then I have not attended another event. I was so happy when I did find my one event to attend. I have been keeping in contact with those bloggers I met and reading their blogs. I have been finding events but there are scheduling conflicts. I hope to find another one very soon. 2. Set A Blogging Schedule- I am still sticking to my Sunday, Thursday and every other Friday schedule. It has been really working with my hectic schedule I already have. 3. Change Up Current Style-

Fall Fashion Trends 2017

I keep saying it but I'm going to speak it into existence, I'm going to New York Fashion Week one of these days. It has always been a dream of mine to go and I always miss when it is or have a conflicting schedule but I'm determined to get there. Speaking of fashion, I wanted to share some of my favorites Fall Fashions trends I've seen floating around.  Plaid Image taken from the web I feel like plaid is one of those classic patterns that is always in style. It may not be in the forefront but you always see it. I love plaid, I don't wear it often but I just love how you can dress it up or down, be casual or dressy with it. I would normally wear a plaid button up shirt but would like to venture into different pieces. Sleepwear  When I first saw people doing this, I wasn't a fan but the more I saw different versions, I started to like it. I like this trend when it is done right. I feel like this can be worn on a night out, something you
