The countdown to this wedding is getting real. April is around the corner and the big day will be here soon! I have starting stressing about the small details and hoping we have everything. We got to do the fun stuff recently, food tasting! I know that was the thing we were both looking forward to. We first had our food tasting at the venue. You were able to bring family members to the tasting and you got to experience the full service during the reception and everything on the menu. I liked that everyone was given a paper with a description of all the menu items so you knew what you were eating and take notes about each dish. I found it helpful to have some other people with us so you got an idea of what the majority of guest would like and different opinions about each dish. Cover FX Mattifying Primer Box It Came From: Essence Beauty Box Full Size or Sample Size: Sample Size Prince Point: 38.00 Review: I have heard a lot about this brand and haven't gotten around to purchasing anything. I was hesitant to use this primer because it does have an anti-acne treatment. I don't have acne prone skin but decided to use it one day. The primer is a gel like consistency and feels very light weight. My makeup stayed on all day and it did help with controlling the oil. For many years I would say that I'm going to NYFW and then forget when it is lol! One day I'm going to make it there lol! Speaking of fashion, today I'm going to share a few Spring Fashion trends that I will most likely be wearing this season. (Images taken from the web) Vibrant Stripes I love wearing bright and bold colors when it gets warmer outside. This trend is super fun and such a statement. You can wear this in the office with a bold striped button up or out on the town with a maxi dress.  One Shoulder I really think this trend is super cute and flirty. I have seen many versions of the one should trend over the years and this one seems to be my favorite. I would probably wear this with a top or dress.  Slogan T-Shirts I know these have been around forever and this trend to me will never go out of style. I sat here looking at a blank screen for a while trying to figure out how to start this post lol. It happens sometimes when you feel a little stuck on how to start. I've been adjusting a lot to my new position and duties at work. I love being closer to home and saving money traveling in state. I can now be home to do homework and have dinner with my family. I can also cook dinner if I want. I'm just so thankful that worked really hard to get into this position and didn't give up. I wanted more of a challenge and wanted something different. I have been really focused on learning this position, asking a lot of questions, making sure I understand everything and so on. When I first started, I kind of knew about the position from my previous position and knew what I was about to step into. I had people tell me about the position and how it can be and wanted to make sure I could handle it. I know people meant well but once someone doubts I can do something, I feel like I need to

It seems like yesterday we just got engaged and started making plans and now it is almost here. I'm not freaking out yet (Lies, I am on the inside lol). I just want to make sure we don't forget anything lol. It seems like it is so easy to forget something when just about everything is going on. I'm getting into the swing of things in my new position and most of my focus seems to be there at the moment but I'm making sure to keep up with everything. I recently met with my coordinators (aka My mom,aunts and cousins) to preview the centerpieces. I'm so thankful for them stepping in and helping with the decor and planning.
