Happily Ever Johnson:Just Engaged, so now what?

Happy Snowy Friday!! The snow is really starting to come down and it looks like I'll be snowed in for my birthday! I can always celebrate another weekend but was looking forward to this weekend. Well I hope you got the chance to watch my engagement story. You can see that post HERE!! Well I'm bringing the first post to my new series, Happily Ever Johnson(that is going to be my new last name lol). I'll be taking you guys along the whole planning process until the big day. Since we just engaged we've been doing a lot of talking about everything. It was just like where do we start with the whole process?? I found The Knot.Com and that website is just amazing!! It has everything and is very helpful! You can view different venues, make your guest list, and view pictures of just about everything. I love that it gives you a to-do list for things you should be doing every month up until the big day. Here is a snap shot of our checklist.

They have so many articles and just full of so much information so I don't feel so overwhelmed. We first thought about the budget which is the most important thing. You have to know what you can spend and the limit you want to set. I think this is very important! I really want a nice wedding within our budget. We next talked about a date. We wanted to have enough time to plan and enjoy the whole process so it will be Spring 2017! We also started selecting the wedding party and compiling our family and friends list. It just seems like a lot but I am up to the challenge. I decided to take on planning the wedding myself and with some help from family. I'm just so excited. My fiance also brought this planning book and mug for me. I love how hands on he is with this process.

I can't wait to get into this book!! I hope you guys stay safe and warm wherever you are and see you on Tuesday!!

~**Drea Notes**~

I tried the new Latte Macchiato at Starbucks. I like it with a pump or two of Vanilla.

I hope this is the only big snow storm we are getting this year! Lol!

Make Beauty Review*

Happy Friday beauty lovers! I hope you have been enjoying Winter again lol! I hope Mother Nature gets it together soon lol. Today I am bringing you another review powered by BrandBacker! *I was sent these products for testing purposes and this is my opinion after using. Let's get into the reviews! *Powered By BrandBacker* I was pretty excited when I was picked for this campaign. I have tried a Make Beauty eyeshadow before and loved it. Honestly, I was expecting the samples to be a little bigger. I was a little disappointed in the lipstick sample, it was hard to use. It kept breaking when I was trying to apply it. Make Beauty is a very new company to me that I was introduced to through Birchbox.  They have just about everything from eyeshadows to contour kits. They also have a line for skincare as well. Alabaster Eyeshadow This shadow on the Make Beauty site is described as a soft eggshell with peach undertones. This shadow is a matte and can be used as a brow

Sometimes its hard.....

You know when you keep thinking of something and you just feel like you have to get it out? That was me before sitting down to write this post. I had something else planned to write but I kept thinking...sometimes its hard and it just evolved from there. We all heard the sayings, life isn't fair, life is hard and so on. Sometimes life can be hard but we don't experience it for long. There are so many things that I want to do but I know I can't do a million things at once. I can't just pick and go anymore, I'm someone's parent now. There are times I want to but I know things have to be planned out now. I will get to those place I want to go, just have to be patient and plan it out. It seems like we focus so much on what is hard about life that we forget about the easy stuff. We forget sometimes about all the good things that happen and to be grateful for getting through those rough patches. You may not like your living situation but you have a roof over
