Maybelline SuperStay Better Skin Foundation Review*

Happy Friday! Can you believe Fall is almost here? This post is going to be a review on the new Maybelline SuperStay Better Skin Foundation. *I received this product through Influenster for testing purposes and my opinion is based after using. Let's get into the review.

I was really excited when I was chosen for this campaign. I love trying out new makeup products! Directly from the Maybelline site, this foundation gives an all-day flawless coverage and better-looking skin in 3 weeks. The foundation reduces the appearance of spots, dullness and uneveness and gives you a brighter, more even and stress-free skin. This foundations has an SPF of 15 and contains Actyl C which is a form of Vitamin C.

I received my foundation in the shade Warm Honey. When I first saw it, I thought it was going to be too light for me. Here is a swatch of Warm Honey.

We had to use this foundation for three weeks and then do a review on your results. I normally wear tinted moisturizer or BB Cream everyday so this was going to be an adjustment. This foundation has medium coverage and you can build it to full coverage. Warm Honey ended up being my perfect shade after it oxidized. I love that this foundation has a pump so it is easy to dispense and you don't spill anything.

This foundation did take a while to blend out but other than that, I really loved using it. It did give me that flawless look and medium coverage. It felt really light on my skin and didn't break me out at all. I noticed a slight difference in the way my skin looked but it has evened my skin out and it looks so healthy. I would highly recommend trying this foundation out. It retails for 11.99 and can be found in just about every drugstore. Here are a few pictures of me wearing the foundation over the three week challenge.

So that is it for this makeup review. Did you get to try this foundation? What were your thoughts? Comment below and let me know. Hope you enjoy the weekend and see you Sunday!

Sometimes its hard.....

You know when you keep thinking of something and you just feel like you have to get it out? That was me before sitting down to write this post. I had something else planned to write but I kept thinking...sometimes its hard and it just evolved from there. We all heard the sayings, life isn't fair, life is hard and so on. Sometimes life can be hard but we don't experience it for long. There are so many things that I want to do but I know I can't do a million things at once. I can't just pick and go anymore, I'm someone's parent now. There are times I want to but I know things have to be planned out now. I will get to those place I want to go, just have to be patient and plan it out. It seems like we focus so much on what is hard about life that we forget about the easy stuff. We forget sometimes about all the good things that happen and to be grateful for getting through those rough patches. You may not like your living situation but you have a roof over

On a personal note....Update on Blogging and Personal Goals

Happy Football Sunday!! I hope everyone has been enjoying the weekend and getting ready to celebrate Thanksgiving!! I can't believe it is this week! I can't wait to spend time with family! I thought about giving an update to the personal and blogging goals I set for myself last year with the Resolute Beauty Blogger series. You can check out my results post  HERE!!  I completed this in May of this year so let's see how I've been doing since then. Blogging Goals 1. Attend A Blogging Event- Since then I have not attended another event. I was so happy when I did find my one event to attend. I have been keeping in contact with those bloggers I met and reading their blogs. I have been finding events but there are scheduling conflicts. I hope to find another one very soon. 2. Set A Blogging Schedule- I am still sticking to my Sunday, Thursday and every other Friday schedule. It has been really working with my hectic schedule I already have. 3. Change Up Current Style-

Fall Fashion Trends 2017

I keep saying it but I'm going to speak it into existence, I'm going to New York Fashion Week one of these days. It has always been a dream of mine to go and I always miss when it is or have a conflicting schedule but I'm determined to get there. Speaking of fashion, I wanted to share some of my favorites Fall Fashions trends I've seen floating around.  Plaid Image taken from the web I feel like plaid is one of those classic patterns that is always in style. It may not be in the forefront but you always see it. I love plaid, I don't wear it often but I just love how you can dress it up or down, be casual or dressy with it. I would normally wear a plaid button up shirt but would like to venture into different pieces. Sleepwear  When I first saw people doing this, I wasn't a fan but the more I saw different versions, I started to like it. I like this trend when it is done right. I feel like this can be worn on a night out, something you
