Biotin Vitamins....Do they really help your hair, nails and skin??

I've heard so many people swear by Biotin Vitamins. People have seen improvements in how their skin looks, how much hair growth they experience and how they have long, healthy nails. I decided to give them a try to see if I get any results like I've read online and heard from others. I will start taking these Nature's Bounty Extra Strength Hair,Skin and Nails tomorrow and will document at the half way point and when I complete the bottle. I picked these up at Target for about 15-16 dollars. Hopefully I see some good results!!

Week 5~ Eyeshadow Pallet Challenge

So this is the last and final week of the Eyeshadow Pallet Challenge!! Yay!! It's really been a challenge but I'm determined to finish out strong. This week I will be using BH Cosmetics 2ND Edition Pallet. After this week, I will post a few pictures of looks I've created and review all the pallets I used. And some exciting news...... I'm finally off the wait list for Ipsy and will start receiving monthly subscriptions!!!!!! I'm so happy!!

Lip Balm Challenge 10/28-11/1

I've always been on the search for a lip balm that keeps my lips moisturized, doesn't dry them out and keeps them soft. I must of tried hundreds of them and I don't think I've really found anything.  I think part of the problem is not drinking enough water and not exfoliating my lips. So I decided to try these 5 lip balms out to see if any of them work or live up to the hype. So today through Friday I will use a different lip balm all day and then review all of them at the end of week. I am revisiting some lip balms I've tried before and some new ones. I'll just pick a random one each day and these are the lip balms I will be trying out: EOS in Sweet Mint Chapstick Hydration Lock in Vanilla Creme Maybelline Baby Lips in Peppermint The Honest Co. in Sweet Orange Vanilla Palmer's Cocoa Butter Lip Butter Be back at the end of the week with results

Week 4~Eyeshadow Pallet Challenge

So this week was an epic fail!! I was supposed to be using my Elf Everyday Look pallet but only used it once this week. I know, shame on me lol. Things have been so hectic since my son broke his arm and working and just life. But I'm determined to finish out strong next week and map out time for myself. Can't believe November is around the corner and I have a lot of exciting things that I will be doing next month so stay tuned!!!!

New Beauty Product

As you all, know, I'm subscribed to Birchbox and have been over a year. They recently sent me a coupon for 25%off any full size product. I was super excited to use it but took a while deciding what to get. There was so much to choose from and then I came across the Beauty Blender. I've heard so much about how great they are and have seen my favorite MUAs using them. I'm happy with my purchase and can't wait to try them out. And I will be able to compare and review with the Target Brand Beauty Blender I purchased a few months ago.

New Hair Product and Review

It has been a really crazy and hectic couple of days. My poor son broke his arm at school and had to get surgery and is now wearing cast and he's only two years old!!!! I was just a mess!! I'm a little behind on some post but don't worry, this SuperWoman/SuperMom will get the job done lol!! I was out at Target over the weekend and saw that all Shea Moisture products we're 20%off! I currently have the Deep Masque/Leave In Conditioner so I decided to give this a try. I purchased the Gel Curling Souffle. I had to wash my hair that day anyway so I decided to try it out so I could review it. The texture was kinda think but not too slippery and not sticky at all. It was easy to apply to my hair and smells amazing. I did a twist out on my hair and it really defined my curls, didn't make my hair crunchy and hard. My hair has a nice hold and is still soft and bouncy. I really do recommend giving this a try, I'm loving it so far. Hopefully my twist out will last a little...

Week 3~Eyeshadow Pallet Challenge

For some strange reason, my results posts have not posted so when I finish this series, I will post a review on all the pallets I've used. This week (and I'm late again posting lol), I'm using BH Cosmetics Party Girl Pallet. I have 3 pallets by them and trying to be good and stay on my budget cause I want more of them lol!

DIY Body Scrub

I'm all about DIY projects and homemade things. I love the fact that I can use things from my kitchen to make an amazing body scrub, facial mask and cleanser. I was searching the Internet the other day looking at different recipes for body scrubs and came across so many, too many to choose from. I decided to give this one a try. My previous body scrub had Olive Oil, White and Brown Sugar. This time I used Coconut Oil, Brown Sugar, Almond Oil and Vanilla Extract. Now I didn't follow the exact instructions, I just made enough to fill my container. I filled the container in the picture about 1/4 of it with Brown Sugar, added about there squeezes of Almond Oil, about 5-6 scoops of Coconut Oil and a tiny but of Vanilla. I mixed everything together and store it in my bathroom. I have used it twice so far and it is so amazing. I don't have to use lotion afterwards, my skin feels so soft and moisturized all day and it's not rough or harsh at all. I really, recommend trying this...

October Birchbox

Here is my October Birchbox I received last week. I know I am talking a bit fast, still getting into this vlogging but everything gets better with practice!! Hope you guys enjoy and let me know what you got in your Birchboxes too!

Request for Men's Skincare Regimen

So one of my male friends read my blog and asked when am I doing a segment on Men's skincare. I thought about it and will be coming up with something very soon. I know there are a lot of men out there that want to know what products to use, how to properly take care of themselves and should they have a regimen like women do. I believe men should have a regimen for themselves like us, not sure if they need all those products but I will do my research and come up with someone..stay tuned!!

Week 2~ Eyeshadow Pallet Challenge

For some reason, my Week 1 results are taking forever to upload so I will have try that post again (I do a lot of mobile blogging). And I'm so late with this post but I'm using BH Cosmetics 1St Edition pallet. My best friend first had these pallets and I just had to pick a couple up for myself! I just love that it has so many colors to choose from to create so many different looks! Be back with the results!

New Products

So I was watching JulieG on YouTube and saw her wearing this pretty rose gold nail polish from her own line with Jesse's Girl cosmetics and I just had to pick it up. We'll when I got to my local Rite Aid, I couldn't resist and picked up five in total. There were so many pretty colors to choose from, it was so hard to narrow it down. I previously picked up Julie G Nail Polish from IMATS last year and loved it. There was only one color that didn't go on so smooth but maybe I will try the refrigerator trick. When I do wear the nail polish, I will post a pic and review on them!

Week 4 Results

Well I am at the end of this skincare journey!! It's been really interesting trying new products and routines to see what works and what doesn't work. This last week was pretty okay. I didn't really read the Face Soy Cleanser when I picked it up at Sephora but it is soap free. I noticed a lot more dirt on my face this week than the previous weeks. And you guys would be so proud that I exfoliated twice last week! I use my Origins Modern Friction and I used this mask/exfoliator combo called GlamGlow I got as a sample at Sephora. It was so amazing on my face! It had a tingling feel when you first put the mask on and after it tighten, you would exfoliate when rinsing with water. It left my face feeling soft and smooth. I would definitely use that again! So after these four weeks, I'm going to review what I've been using and figure out a facial regimen that works for me. That will be coming up soon so stay tuned........ And I know I'm late on the September favorites ...

Eyeshadow Pallet Challenge~ Week 1

Hey everyone! I decided to do the eyeshadow pallet challenge for the month of October. I have A LOT of makeup and rarely use my pallets. So I came up with using one pallet each week to one practice my makeup applying skills and see how many different looks I can create just using that pallet and no other shadows. This week (I know I'm a little late), I will be using my Jesse's Girl pallet I got at IMATS this year. At the end of the week, I will post all the looks I came up with. Wish me luck and a Vlog will be coming on September Monthly Favorites and my hauls from Ulta, Sephora and MAC!!

Week 4~Finding a Facial Regimen

I am on the last week of trying to find a facial regimen that works for me. I've had mixed results so far but hoping at the end of this, I can come up with something that works for me. Now I will make sure I exfoliate twice this week lol. So here are the products I will be using this week: Daytime: Cleanser- Fresh Soy Face Cleanser Toner- Origins A Perfect World Age Defense Treatment Lotion with White Tea SPF- L'oreal Eye Cream- StriVectin-AS Moisturizer- My Prime Multi Purpose Mattifying Moisturizer Nighttime: First putting Coconut oil on my face then washing with Fresh Soy Face Cleanser and following up with the Origin Toner, StriVectin Eye Cream and Coconut Oil for the moisturizer. Be back to update on this week...
