Hello Curlies Review

Happy Tuesday!! I'm actually doing laundry and cooking too lol!! This post is going to be a review on Hello Curlies. *I received these products for testing purposes and this is my opinion on the products after using them.*

This is a new company that launched styling products for curly hair. They actually started following me on Instagram one day and I followed back. One day they posted about wanting bloggers, hair salons and photographers to email them so I took a chance and was so happy to receive these products to review for my blog!! I have been using these products for the past month, month and a half and have been loving them!! The first thing that I love about Hello Curlies is that they do not contain parabens, mineral oils, sulfates and petroleum. That is one thing I look for in all my hair products. Next is the packaging. I love how it is impossible to spill anything if you drop a bottle. They have pop tops and the containers are plastic and easy to dispense.

I also love how they have a system to choose products for your hair type. They have products for curly hair, tight curly hair and coily hair. I fall into all three because I have different curl patterns in my hair. The  mint color is for curly hair, pink is for tight curly and lavender is for coily. So grab a snack because this is picture heavy. Let's get into the reviews!!

Leave In Conditioner

As you can tell from the half empty container, I used this one the most. I was a little skeptical at first because you know I love my leave in conditioners to be thick but this did the job. It helps to control the frizz in your hair and keep your hair moisturized and soft. The Aloe and Green Tea in this leave in helped with that. I love the fresh, clean scent of this and how it really made my hair manageable to style. My hair stayed moisturized and soft until it was time to wash it again. The leave in is 8.99 on the website.

Buttermilk Moisturizer

This moisturizer helps with keeping your hair moisturized and not getting dry at all. It also helps with controlling frizz. The two main ingredients that help with maintaining that moisture is Shea Butter and Avocado Oil.  I love the creamy texture of this and how soft my hair felt. It really helped with keeping the moisture in my hair during the week. My hair did not get dry at all and I just love this moisturizer. This is 9.99 on the website.

I used the Leave In Conditoner and Buttermilk Moisturizer before styling my hair along with Cocounut Oil. These three products together were just amazing with my hair.

Curlicue Custard

This styler right here is amazing!! I just figured out how to wear Wash and Gos in my hair and this really helped defined my curls. It even gave definition and curls to the part of my hair that doesn't curl that well.  I love the thick gel consistency but it didn't weigh my hair down at all. It gave my hair a nice, firm hold but it didn't have that crunchy hold. My curls stayed defined for a week which was amazing. My curls start to fall after three or four days. It didn't dry my hair out at all thanks to the Agave and Coconut Oil in this styler. Here is a picture of my hair with the Curlicue Styler in. This runs for 9.99.

Fluffy Soft Styler

When I saw this styler, I immediately wanted to do something with curls. I haven't done Bantu knots in a while so I tried them using a different technique. I was so in love with my hair after using this styler. My curls were so defined, soft and bouncy. I had pretty good volume and my curls stayed for more than a week. I was really impressed. I love the silky texture of this styler and just how moisturized and soft my hair felt. I just couldn't get over how good my hair looked lol!! The main ingredients in this styler are Avocado Oil and two that I don't think I have seen in my hair products before, Safflower Oil and Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein. This styler is 11.99 and worth every penny. Here are some pictures of my hair.

Soft Defining Gel

I knew I was going to use this for my next twist out style and I'm currently on day 4 of my hair and it is still defined and curly. My hair is still so soft and moisturized. I love the gel consistency of this and it is not sticky at all. I love the soft hold my hair has and the amazing volume. This also has the Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein as the main ingredient which I am loving now lol!! This styler is 8.99. Here are some pictures of my hair.

Overall, I love Hello Curlies. I think they are about to replace what I have currently been using. I was just so impressed with the results I got with my hair. These products are super affordable and just amazing. I'm hoping they come out with some cleansing products soon or a deep Conditoner. I will definitely be repurchasing these when I use them up. Thank you again Hello Curlies for sending your wonderful styling products. You can find the products on their website HERE

So that is it for my review on Hello Curlies. What are some of your favorite styling products? Comment below and let my know. See you guys Friday! Hope you have a great week!!!

    1. Thank Shaun! I would start out with the leave in, moisturizer and one of the styling products depending on how you wear your hair.

Sometimes its hard.....

You know when you keep thinking of something and you just feel like you have to get it out? That was me before sitting down to write this post. I had something else planned to write but I kept thinking...sometimes its hard and it just evolved from there. We all heard the sayings, life isn't fair, life is hard and so on. Sometimes life can be hard but we don't experience it for long. There are so many things that I want to do but I know I can't do a million things at once. I can't just pick and go anymore, I'm someone's parent now. There are times I want to but I know things have to be planned out now. I will get to those place I want to go, just have to be patient and plan it out. It seems like we focus so much on what is hard about life that we forget about the easy stuff. We forget sometimes about all the good things that happen and to be grateful for getting through those rough patches. You may not like your living situation but you have a roof over ...

On a personal note....Update on Blogging and Personal Goals

Happy Football Sunday!! I hope everyone has been enjoying the weekend and getting ready to celebrate Thanksgiving!! I can't believe it is this week! I can't wait to spend time with family! I thought about giving an update to the personal and blogging goals I set for myself last year with the Resolute Beauty Blogger series. You can check out my results post  HERE!!  I completed this in May of this year so let's see how I've been doing since then. Blogging Goals 1. Attend A Blogging Event- Since then I have not attended another event. I was so happy when I did find my one event to attend. I have been keeping in contact with those bloggers I met and reading their blogs. I have been finding events but there are scheduling conflicts. I hope to find another one very soon. 2. Set A Blogging Schedule- I am still sticking to my Sunday, Thursday and every other Friday schedule. It has been really working with my hectic schedule I already have. 3. Change Up Current Style-...

Taking a break.......

On Tuesday I did mention that I had some exciting news to share. I have been working part time for a while and searching like crazy for full time work. I was starting to get a little frustrated but never gave up. Well a full time opportunity came up at my current job and I am now full time status!!! I was just so overjoyed and thankful. I will have a more stable income, I can go back to school and start to make some moves. Then I started to get a little overwhelmed. How was I going to juggle being a full-time working mom, grad student, blogger and balance everything else. It has been a while since I had a full time schedule and based my blogging schedule around my days off during the week. I start my full time hours next week and just need to take a small break away from Naturalle Drea. I really didn't want to because I love this so much but I need to see how to handle everything. I will most likely change my blogging schedule around. Thank you to those who have been encouraging to...
