Happy Tuesday!! Hope everyone is enjoying the week so far. Seems like Summer is still trying to hold on, it was so warm this weekend. My weekend was full of working, hosting my Beauty Bash (post will be up Friday on that), taking my son to a birthday party and cleaning of course lol! I decided to do another fun tag for you guys! I found this one searching around on the web. Hope you enjoy!! 1) When is your birthday? ( You don't have to include the year if you don't want to.) The Resolute Beauty Blogger- September 2014

Happy Football Sunday!! My team is currently losing right now, ugh! Here are my September updates for the Resolute Beauty Blogger!! Blogging Goals 1. Set a blogging schedule- So far so good, still sticking to my schedule except for last week, it was a crazy busy week.  2. Change up the current style- I have been changing my greeting before I start each post and the overall look of my blog is still being discussed and worked on. I am hoping to start during some tutorials soon and working on putting together a Fall Fashion Lookbook!!  3. Learn more about blogging- I have still been doing some research on blogging and have come across so much information. I mainly have been looking up how to get more traffic here and how to be a better blogger. I will most likely do a post on what I found. 4. Attend a blogging event- Still looking for one but I found a few natural hair brunches I want to attend soon.  5. Proof read better- I have been really working on this. I

The Secrets Of Blogging Tag

Happy Friday!! This post is going to be The Secrets of Blogging Tag. I was tagged by +Tanya Lovetere  from Leopard Lace and Cheesecake, thanks again! So let's get right into it!     *Image was taken from the web*     1. When did you start blogging and why? I started blogging August 2013 from an idea one day. I had all these makeup products that I love so much, was into my natural hair journey and subscribed to these beauty boxes and had no outlet to talk about them. I'm so happy I stuck with this blog!     2. How many people in "real life" know about your blog? Oh just about everyone I know does.     3. What are your favorite post to read? I love reading reviews on different beauty products, monthly favorites and empties. It's good to get a different view on the products you have been thinking about purchasing and an excuse to go shopping lol!     4. List a blog you have recently discovered. The only one I've discovered rec

Julie G. Cruise Collection Review

Hello there again today! I had to break this review into two post because it was going to be way too long! This part of the review is on the Julie G Summer Cruise Collection Nail Polishes. I picked up the whole collection at IMATS lol. I couldn't help it, the colors were so pretty and I just love her nail polish. Miami Nights So of course I'll start with one of my favorites from the collection. I love this pink color (well, it is my favorite color anyway lol) and just how it reminded me of summer. This was very pigmented with just two coats and just a beautiful color. Rio De Janeiro This purple was my second favorite color to wear. I don't own a color like this and it is just so pretty! I probably could of gotten away with one coat but this is with two. I could probably wear this in Fall as a matte polish. Tahiti This is such a pretty minty, green color, another favorite lol. I love that this polish has blue glitter in it which is pretty subtle but g

Jesse's Girl Cosmetics Review

Happy Tuesday!! This post is going to be a review on the Jesse's Girl Cosmetics that I purchased at IMATS in April. If you watch Julie G. on You Tube, you may recognise some of these beauty items that she uses.  I have been using these products and some of them made it into my August Favorites. This post is going to be picture heavy and a little long just to warn you. So let's get into the reviews. Jesse's Girl Eye Shadow Primer I am pretty picky when it comes to primers, especially eye shadow ones. I want my look to stay pigmented all day and not crease at all. I have tried quite a few primers and this one by Jesse's Girl is in my top 3 primers that I love so much lol. I love using this under my Mac Paint Pot and my shadows do not go anywhere. They don't crease at all and stay pigmented all day. Here is a swatch of the primer. Jesse's Girl Liquid Eyeliner I love liquid liner that come in a pen form. They are easy for me to use and draw my line

As I Am Coconut Coconut Cowash Cleansing Conditioner

Happy Sunday!! Hope everyone has been enjoying the weekend so far! This post is going to be a review on the cowash that I have been using lately from As I Am. I talked about this briefly in my Updated Hair Routine video and said there would be a full review coming soon. I was previously using Herbal Essence Hello Hydration Conditioner for my hair and wanted to try something different. I have seen people raving about this co wash on Instagram and Twitter. I caught it on sale at Sally's but you can find this just about anywhere now. The price varies per store but I've seen it run between 8-12 dollars. The As I Am website describes the benefits of using this product as: Spreads easily throughout hair Gently cleanses hair and scalp Maintains moisture, adds more moisture and helps hair retain moisture until your next cleanse. Makes detangling a breeze Rinses easily from hair. Helps promote a healthy environment for hair growth  Gentle enough for daily use. Safe for c

Updated Hair Care Routine

Happy Friday!! Please excuse this video, my computer is back in the shop and this was the best take because I didn't realize it was slowing up by itself like that. I have updated my hair care routine and products I have been using. What are your favorite products to use? What is your hair care routine? Comment below and let me know!

Makeup Remover Wipe Reviews

Happy Tuesday!! Just can't get over how fast the Summer went and we are almost into Fall. This post is going to be on two different makeup remover wipes that I have tried out and will be reviewing. So let's get right into it! Alcone Makeup Remover Wipes I got these at IMATS back in April. My friend recommended them to me because she said that Queen of Blending swears by them. I believe I paid $10 or less than that for them at IMATS for a 30 pack. These wipes sat in my drawer for a bit because I was still using my coconut oil to remove my makeup. I really love these makeup remover wipes so much. They are gentle on the skin, especially around the eye area. They had a mild scent and really got the makeup off. It only took one wipe to remove everything. It says on the packaging that it removes makeup in one swipe, well it does for eyeshadow. I was pretty impressed by that. You can find them on the Alcone website for 12.95 and I will be repurchasing these next year at IMATS.

Writing Process Tour

Happy Football Sunday (I'm happy that my team won earlier today!)! Hope everyone has been enjoying the weekend so far. This post is going to be continuing the Writing Process Tour. I was nominated by the lovely + Keisha over at  The Chrysalis Gals . She has wonderful makeup looks and tutorials to share, DIY recipes and recently launched her own makeup line! She is just a sweet person and thanks for nominating me. Now on to the questions. 1. What are you working on? I am still mapping out when I will do certain posts for this month. For this week, I will be getting a product review up and updated hair routine. 2. How does your work differ from others in this genre? I talk more about natural hair and natural hair products than everyone else I'm following now. I'm hoping to expand more into that world soon. 3. Why do I write what I do? I love everything about hair, makeup, fashion, beauty and all things girly. I wanted an outlet to talk about these things and learn more

Book Review: Is Everyone Hanging Out With Me? (And Other Concerns) by Mindy Kaling

Happy Friday!! It still feeling like Summer around here but I'm looking forward to Fall soon. This post is going to be a review on the book by Mindy Kaling Is Everyone Hanging Out With me? (And Other Concerns) that was sent to me by Birchbox and Birchbloggers Book Club which I am loving now! They have gotten me back into reading and it has been very relaxing. (I am forever taking pictures in my car lol #LunchBreakSelfie)     I know who Mindy Kaling is but never watched her show, The Mindy Kaling Project (I know, so sad lol). I'll be honest, I didn't think she was too funny when I saw the previews for the show. This book gave me a better perspective of who she really is and how she broke into the entertainment industry. This book was very funny and such a fun read. I had no clue that she was a writer on The Office or appeared in episodes (that's another show I never watched lol).   I loved how she told the stories about her childhood, her experiences with

August Monthly Favorites

Hey Guys!! Can you believe September is here already?? Where did the summer go? Well, its 94 degrees today so it is still trying to hold on. I usually do videos for my monthly favorites but my poor laptop is still in the shop and I'm hoping it can be up and running soon. So since I'm on borrowed computers, it will be a regular post. I didn't have too many favorites last month but I really loved these items and used them the whole month. Jesse's Girl Cosmetics Eye Shadow Primer - I got this at IMATS and this paired with my MAC paint pot works wonders. My shadows don't move or crease and stay all day. Jesse's Girl Cosmetics Pure Pigment Eye Dust in Flambe, Cafe Au Lait and Peek-A-Boo- I will be doing a more in depth post and review on the Jesse's Girl items I got from IMATS but I'm in love this these pigments. They are so pigmented and I love the container it comes in. It makes it impossible not to spill the whole container. Plus, they are so afford
